I wish I could give 0 or - stars I brought a Tv from Currys and took out their care plan from KnowHow, the care plan was the worst mistake ever. I have now been with out a TV for 8 weeks and still no TV. I have been paying the care plan for over 2 years now , my tv stoped working so I called KnowHow , they came picked up my tv and replaced it as my tv was unfixable , when It arrived it had no box, no remote or stand so I was unable to use it. I then called and asked for a stand , I have received 6 stands at different times but none that fit the tv. I returned the tv to Currys after 7 weeks as I was fed up with the broken promises from KnowHow, I have been promised a voucher so I can collect a tv myself but still no voucher , it’s been 8 weeks now and they don’t seem to be bothered. In my contract it say I will receive a working tv within 7 days so KnowHow have broken the terms of the contract. I have made complaint after complaint but nothing. I don’t understand how Currys can recommend KnowHow when they are so bad, they have 87% bad reviews, and they are giving Currys a really bad name. If I had know this before hand I would never have used them. Stay away!!!!

As Currys still recommend using KnowHow I shall share my experience. Knowhow were a great company, been with them for years and had no issues but something seems to have changed. The service is terrible now. Poor customer service, long delivery dates without explanation that are continually put back further. When they finally settle on a date, you wait in all day and the delivery doesn't arrive. They don't care if you take time off from work, not their problem or "out of my control, its another department" as I keep being told. Asking for supervisors, or trying to escalate to a complaint is useless as they give you promises of resolution and timescales they then retract them when you next call. If you want a service as promised in your plan then I advise you look for an alternative company as KnowHow seem unable to honour their promises.

Team know how clearly don't know how appalling customer service waited in for a washing machine on Thursday given a delivery time between 4.30 and 8.30 however it never turned up then received text to say it would be delivered on Saturday when I finally got through to them I was told the drivers time was up for the day and they had to return to the depot I phoned again the following morning to try and get a delivery time and complained about the late delivery and was told the machine was probably broken then there were no notes on the system to say why it hadn't been delivered will never use Currys again .

Basingstoke Currys turned away an 88 year old lady who tried to return a faulty printer cartridge. They said they needed a receipt before they could do anything. I've ascertained that she used her bank card and have advised her accordingly. They should have done this, not sent her away, when she can hardly walk and had to make a special trip. They have behaved like rogue traders!

Be careful everyone, after a bad experience of pressure selling warranties i didn't go to curry's for many years. Recently i thought I would try again, they added £80 cables to my order without asking me. Luckily I noticed on the till screen and told them to take them off!!! When i got home i checked it out and i didnt even need them for my new tv. They will do almost anything to rip people off. I have made various complaints and they just say they will conduct some training, i will never use curry's again. Terrible company.

A Terrible Service. Failed to turn up twice to install an integrated washing machine. Extremely difficult to get through to customer service. After many phones we did and then they gave us wrong advice. Sent a letter of complaint to Currys but to date they have not answered.

I wish I could give Zero or even -ve rating. Whole team let me down. I have order an HP Laser printer for my work over the phone. The sales agent Nathen (EXT 27778) book an order. Since this is for business use and need printer asap so I agreed to pickup next day from local PC word store from Manchester. He pushed me sell for care plan, I agreed after too much push and paid extra ..Happy ending. But Wait … after putting the phone down got confirmation email … shocking to see that it says my Order will be ready to Collect from Oxford Street LONDON ….WHAT LONDON??? Yes , I asked to pick up from Trafford Centre Manchester….. Call the guy again, he said oh don’t worry don’t worry I will sort this out … Ignore the email and I will call you shortly….. No Call. After few hours I called again, Oh sorry there is system glitch , I don’t know what is happening but I will sort this out you will be get the printer now, even I will try to get this deliver to your address, I will get back to you soon….. That’s very kind. Received email next day that my order is ready to collect from Oxford Street London and the Funny thing is I got a call from Curry’s that when I go to collect take ID will me. When I explain that I asked to collect from Manchester she said Oh sorry for that but make sure when to go to Oxford Street branch take the ID with you. Called Nathan again (hard to get him, as clearly start ignoring me) , he promised that he will sorting this out and you will get the printer today but he has to cancel the order first and place another. After few hours I have received email that your order is cancelled and refund will be processed next day and will be delivered via Gift Card using the Royal mail delivery and could take 3- 4 days. In a nut shell I could get the same printer FROM Amazon in next day delivery with same price or over from another supplier buy as a loyal customer I prefer Curry’s PC World. They disappoint me, clearly It was Nathan’s fault and he did not know to resolve the issue. My business process suffer without printer for so many days,. Having a small business and when you relaying on the printer. It is very frustrating. Curry’s did not offer any compensation for such poor service they provide.

Having spent over £3.000 on a new OLED TV and sound bar I received the absolute worst after sales service I have en-counted from a large company ever. From start to finish the duty manager, sales staff and particularly the "Know How Team" were inept and appeared to pass the buck at any opportunity. Even a refund took over two (2) weeks to resolve. I will never deal with them again ever.

Avoid taking any sort of care plan from Currys. Appalling customer service by team know how. You will be lucky if you get through in less than half an hour whichever option you press on the menu because I have tried most for the past week. If you are ringong for a refund, They will say a week but it will be down to you to chase this up from my experience because it doesn't refund due to technical problems. And you may after hanging on the phone for 45 mins they give you an option to send a cheque in the post. And it can take up to 28 days tobarrive !!! The payment is taken from your card in less than a second!! Try and buy from argos or even amazon they are more professional than Currys.

Samsung soundbar developed a fault within ten months of buying it after being fobbed off that it’s Samsung’s problem not curry’s and that I need to deal directly with them,I took it back to curry’s for repair was told normally 7 to 14 days chased it up with the know nothing experts they couldn’t help and the unique repair number means nothing all he could do was just email the store to get the store to chase it up its now been 21 days just trying to speak to a person with an clue about what’s happening seems almost impossible. They might compete on price but when it come to customer service they are hopeless

Hi there, do not buy large appliances from this company!!!!!!!!!! We brought a Kenwood cooker, after a few weeks it developed a fault which was over heating (burning all the food on the lowest setting)! After 45 minutes on the phone being passed from one person to another we were finally told to go to our local store for a refund ha ha!! We spent an hour in the store as the assistant phoned the same number we used and got the same answer, we asked to see the manager, he was not available! It has now been three days and hours on the phone and this has still not been resolved!! We now have to wait 10 days for an engineer to come out and agree our cooker is faulty, leaving us with no means of cooking food. Management from curry’s and Kenwood do not care! And will not stick to there return policy! We are now taking it further to trading standards to get our money back!! We wont step a foot in curry’s again!! Absolutely disgusting!!

Team knowhow collected my curved tv for repair and I was told it would be returned with in five days. Two weeks later I rang to get an update and was told they would check with the work shop and get back to me, they did not. I rang again few days later and this time some one did check and I got a call back only to be told that somehow the tv had been assessed but then nothing had happened and know one knew why it had taken so long???? I was then rung again by an engineer and was told that the tv cannot be fixed and someone will ring me to replace it... I am still waiting. I have been without a tv for two weeks and have had to chase the repair myself. The intial problem was bleeding light on the side of the screen and I would have thought it was a simple fix. It appears team knowhow doesn't know how!

Do not shop with Curry's, they will lose your packages in-transit, refuse to take responsibility. Their support staff will promise you things over the phone and then completely ignore your emails. When trying to contact them again, they are rude and useless. The staff in my local Curry's store (Manor West, Tralee, Kerry, Ireland) were even less useful and far more rude. They owe me over €2,000 for a month and are refusing to give the money back even though the product has been confirmed to be returned to them by the courier (DPD) More info on this here: https://www.facebook.com/CurrysPCWorldIreland/posts/2583886245060736

I was sold 2 years Mcafee cover when I purchased my new lap top. When I entered the code to renew it was not accepted as the card had not been activated. I went back to the Peterborough store where the most rude arrogant Manager who could not bother to talk to me until I confronted him, said we no longer can verify the card and completely ignored that I had a receipt. He was not interested at all in helping me!! I am a senior Manager of a large company and would dismiss this person immediately. His attitude and arrogance has no place in today's standard of customer service. I will pursue my complaint and I suggest anyone reading this review considers very carefully about purchasing anything from Currys of Peterborough. John Lewis price match and offer 100% better customer service.

Useless. Fridge didn’t even turn up. Waited in all day! They didn’t even bother to call me to let me know they weren’t going to come. My delivery was due anytime until 7.15pm. Then when I called to say it hadn’t arrived and ask why, I found out the phone line closes at 6pm! Ridiculous.

Took my laptop to pc world for repair and had to pay upfront the standard repair charge and was told i would get a phone call from the knowhow repair people stating the cost of any parts needed. After two weeks and not hearing anything i returned to pc world and after the assistant phoned the knowhow repair team they told him the price for parts which had to again be paid for upfront before they would do the repair and they gave a date the laptop would be returned. Another trip to pc world on the collection day only to find the laptop was not their so another call to the repair team who gave another date my laptop would be returned. Guess what no laptop when i went to collect it and was told it might have gone missing and they would elivate a complaint which meant if my laptop could not be found they would have to give me a brand new one at the expence of the repair team and knowing this they usually manage to find the missing item pretty quick. It worked because the next day i had a call from the shop to say my laptop had been returned and was ready for collection after four and a half weeks of waiting. To be fair the assistants at pc world store did all they could to help me but it was the lying and rubbish service from the repair team that caused me to have to wait way to long to get my laptop back. Needless to say currys pc world will not be getting any more custom from me or my family and i would tell anybody give local independant shops your custom as they will provide a better service than currys who are quick to take your money then provide nothing.
