My elderly parents bought 5 new appliance for their new kitchen. The fridge freezer once installed didn’t work. Lost a fridge and freezer full of food. Visited our Stirling branch Given a number to dial. Spent 4 hours on the phone finally arranged a repair man who didn’t turn up today. Spent 55 mins on hold tonight to be told to call back tomorrow! I’m writing to the board! Unacceptable!

Purchase a top of the range 55 inch LG Oled TV within one week the glass stand on the TV rests on cracked. Curry gave me a full refund and changed the TV which I was grateful for. I purchased the same TV again from Currys and within 10 days exactly the issue happened again I reported this again as this is clearly a fault with the TV as it can’t hold its own wait. Currys refused to refund or even exchange for a different TV all together even though I’m within my 30 day period. They just kept fobbing me off saying there waiting for approvals from there head office then after 15 days they just said they won’t give a refund or an exchange as it’s not a fault with the TV. Which clearly there is. So currently I’m stuck with a £2000 TV which if it gets another crack in its stand it will probably fall over as it won’t be able to hold its own wait. Now having to go down another route to get a refund but not through Currys but should not have to go this way.

Ordered £30 top up cards for playstation and paid extra for delivery today. DPD haven’t even received my order so will not be getting them today. I can make a complaint but it’s just for feedback apparently and I won’t hear back. I can cancel the order but will have to wait until they are returned to the warehouse and then a further 5 dats or more to get re credited. Or I can continue with the order but have no idea when I will receive it. This was a birthday present for my grandson and I needed them today. Absolutely disgusting the way I have been lied to (2 emails stating the order is on its way and will be delivered today) and more or less told to just suck it up. I will never shop online with Curry’s PCW again and advise others to be very cautious if they do. Only gave one star because I couldn’t do none.

Travelled fifteen miles to take advantage of a price we had seen on display in the Northampton Riverside store a week before. The Pure internet radio was advertised at £89.99 listing a saving of £10. When we came to buy the item the only stock was the display model which, for some reason, they would not sell to us. However, we were told that the same model was in stock at a nearby store but I noticed that it was listed at the full price and the manager, Ian (family name not disclosed), would not honour the offer price. Very disappointed because I feel that I had been misled by a false price. I try to support our local stores but have now ordered the same from Amazon at £79.99. Is this misleading price company policy?

I bought a fridge freezer from Curry's and was specifically asked if about access. I notified them that there were 8 steps leading to our front door. After two texts and on the morning of the delivery I received a call from the driver who informed me that they don't carry any appliance bigger than a standard freezer more than 3 steps up. I also paid to have my old fridge freezer taken away. The driver kindly informed me that unless it was at street level it would not be taken. The service I was sold in store was incorrect and on phoning curry's, the answer given that it was pot luck whether you get two strong guys or two skinny guys and they would risk assess it on arrival. I already knew the answer to that from the driver call. I was informed that if the first driver refused to place my purchase in my property another might decide different. On asking when that might be (again pot luck) Customer services couldn't say as the delivery was incomplete! Tell me about it! Don't bother with this lot which is a part of Curry's. Don't bother with Curry's either. Completely misleading selling of goods with very poor customer service.

I ordered a washing machine from Currys. The order date was last week Sunday. However, on Saturday evening I received a text to say that the date has changed to the next day(monday). I wasn't asked whether this date would be convient or the reason for the cancellation. I took the day of work on Monday and was later called by the Depo ( who according to Currys cannot be contacted via telephone by paying customers) and informed that the delivery could not take place as their van was to big to get to my property. To cut a long story short. This occurred another 2 times, the only difference was that I wasnt informed and just left waiting at home until i contacted them, and given various different reasons for not delivering goods. In toal there were 4 FAILED DELIVERIES and i was fobbed off like i was the problem. The customer service was poor, there was lack of understanding about the reasons for my frustrations...having to take 3days of work (loss of earnings), staying in my home for 3days out of the week and consistently having to call Currys to get an update. Up till now I haven't received my washing machine and have had to cancel the order and go else where. I would not recommend anyone to use Currys delivery service, even if the item is on sale as you may be waiting for an item that is never delivered. Currys if you dont fix this problem, as it appears from previous reviews that this is not an isolated case, you will be loosing a lot of money to other stores who can efficently snd professionally deliver goods.

Manager at Cabot's Circus in Bristol very discourteous. Apparently unaware of company policy or told direct lies. Very unhappy experience. Spoke to Curry's PC World head office about my experience in store who were very apologetic and fair. Would happily deal with this company again but never at the Cabot's Circus location.

I have just purchased a fridge freezer online due to be delivered today. Took a days leave and was told deliver my was planned between 2pm and 6pm. at 19:30 I rang the help line and was told that the driver should have contacted me so they sent him a text. At 19:55 the driver told me that he had run out of hrs and basically I have to arrange a new delivery date and in the mean time I had ditched my fridge freezer this afternoon due to the planned delivery and now have to chuck £150 worth of food. No promised redelivery till the item goes back to depot and no idea when the fridge freezer is being redelivered as the help line closes at 8pm!!! Will never buy from Currys again and advise anyone else to seriously look elsewhere!

Trying to chase an order is horrendous, there are no store numbers that get you to someone who can help. The automated system doesn't let you put In number starting with 19 and the online tracking is useless.

A few months back I made an order of around a dozen nest products that all needed to be installed by Team KnowHow. I don't want to go too deep into the details but here are a couple of points. After arranging for the installers to bring the equipment to my home to be installed after the payment I received a phone call to say I would have to wait 3-6 months if I wanted them to bring the equipment to me which they didn't tell me at the time. I had to purchase them elsewhere and this meant that KnowHow refunded £400 to me which was how they first lost money. After I ended up installing these parts myself, which I wish I hadn't as it cost me a lot of time to learn about, I realised I would definitely need help to install the 2 thermostats which KnowHow gave me some discount to do for me. At this stage, we made the first arrangement for a technician to visit to install the 2 thermostats and when he arrived he said it was a 2 man job and he couldn't do it so he left. After this failure, I was very upset and I called up and a member of staff gave me his word that he would send 2 technicians to complete the job this week. Incredibly one man turned up this week on his own and told me it was a 2 man job and he couldn't do it so he left. This means that KnowHow lost even more money paying for the technicians time when they could have just sent 2 at once. I have so far taken 2 days off work for these 2 displays of incompetence and now I will have to take a third day off work if we can finally arrange for 2 people to come to install the 2 thermostats. I can barely afford to do this. This is still an ongoing situation where I am having to chase KnowHow myself rather than them reaching out to me in order to try and arrange a definite date where 2 technicians can come to complete this job. If it is common knowledge that it requires 2 technicians then why have they twice sent one person on their own? I suspect KnowHow has already lost around £1000 with this ongoing situation and it is not how a company can make money.

If 0 stars was an option that would be my rating. To all reading this, NEVER buy a care plan from Currys for any product you buy. The service provided by Team Knowhow is appalling. Delivery time slots are not kept. This is particularly annoying when the time slot is 7am-11am. The driver lied and made out he wasn't aware my delivery was to be made by 11am when he called me at 10:47am. No reasons are given for the delay and the delivery team does not call you back when they say they will. Their website and live tracking are not updated and have incorrect information. The state my TV was delivered back to me was unacceptable as they had put shrink wrap around the edges of the TV screen then put the clear plastic border over the shrink wrap. There is no way for me to take the border off and get the shrink wrap out. (See picture). I was informed to just trim it and leave the excess shrink wrap in the TV. I refused to do so as my TV never came with this excess material lodged in it when bought or when sent for repair. Making a complaint with their customer service department will get you nowhere and a call back (which is the very least they can do) is not guaranteed. They don't care about their customers or providing a good service and they certainly won't do everything they can to put right their mistakes. The only way this company will learn anything and improve is when they see their profits fall. It's your money so make sure you spend it with a company you know you will get a good service from.

I wish I could give 0 or - stars I brought a Tv from Currys and took out their care plan from KnowHow, the care plan was the worst mistake ever. I have now been with out a TV for 8 weeks and still no TV. I have been paying the care plan for over 2 years now , my tv stoped working so I called KnowHow , they came picked up my tv and replaced it as my tv was unfixable , when It arrived it had no box, no remote or stand so I was unable to use it. I then called and asked for a stand , I have received 6 stands at different times but none that fit the tv. I returned the tv to Currys after 7 weeks as I was fed up with the broken promises from KnowHow, I have been promised a voucher so I can collect a tv myself but still no voucher , it’s been 8 weeks now and they don’t seem to be bothered. In my contract it say I will receive a working tv within 7 days so KnowHow have broken the terms of the contract. I have made complaint after complaint but nothing. I don’t understand how Currys can recommend KnowHow when they are so bad, they have 87% bad reviews, and they are giving Currys a really bad name. If I had know this before hand I would never have used them. Stay away!!!!
