My wife went into Currys at the Retail Park Newbury today to try and purchase a hoover (about £200 worth of business). She went in about 1600hrs, 3 sales assistants were just standing around chatting amongst themselves on the ground floor. So she went upstairs to where the hoovers were on display and there was only 1 sales chap there, who was busy with a customer. So she went back down the stairs and asked a lady sales assistant if there was any chance of speaking to a sales assistant, only to be told 'Not sure what you want, but when you find anything you like, come and give me a shout!' This is without doubt customer service of the highest quality...........I think not! The general attitude of staff in this Store has always been very, very poor and gives a bad impression of Currys as a company. You really feel like they are doing you a favour by even talking to you! My wife came back home and ordered a hoover on-line

went to Bedford branch to buy a cooker today, I have shopped there before and been happy, today however we were unlucky enough to be served by Gaurav (operator 31). my wife and I found him quite rude, arrogant and patronising, I couldn't believe that currys could put such an immature 'boy' on the sales floor he answered some questions with an eye roll as if had more important things to do than deal with us. not once did he crack a smile and clearly thought that he was too important to deal with somebody that runs two successful businesses and was standing in front of him with cash to buy a cooker I wanted to walk out of the shop but my wife needs a cooker and I didn't want to upset her although I found out that she would have been happy to do the same, now with hindsight I am considering cancelling my order and shopping elsewhere

They fraudsters, conartists, liars. They have no customer services at all. No one in store or customer service, their know-how care plan team deal with my query all they keep doing is advising it's not their issue, you need to speak to this person or this team. They have caused so much stress. Mis sold me a TV and insurance and now fail to comply with their promises and guarantees. Ombudsman complaint coming up.

Ordered a new Hotpoint washing machine from Loughborough Branch of Curry's/PC World and paid for timed delivery for Friday 5th October of between 1:00 till 5:00pm along with paying for removal of old washing machine. In store service was excellent. Shame it went down hill from there, phone call from delivery men at around 5:00pm to say they would be here in around 45minutes to an hour, delivery finally arrived at 6:45pm with delivery men complaining that they had had a busy day and had delivered to me before two other deliveries they should have made because I was not happy when they had called me. Then they unloaded the washing machine and I noticed before they carried into kitchen it was the wrong colour, silver where it should of been white, further grumbling from delivery driver to which I explained it could have been worse, we could have noticed after they had carried through the doors and into kitchen. Delivery driver checks on lorry, surprise no white washing machine of same model, off they went. Contacted Curry,s customer service 30 minutes to get through, gave details of problem etc. only to be put on hold again for further ten minutes. Finally answer was the best they could do was a Tuesday delivery of between 7:00am till 7:00pm, explained again that I had paid for a timed delivery and that this was not acceptable, lady at customer service replies with, 'you didn't say that you had paid for timed delivery', asked if they could improve on delivery and deliver before Tuesday, answer, no, no offer of compensation, had to ask, £10 offered for fail to deliver or £20 Curry's voucher. Asked to speak with manager, answer, it wont make any difference, we don't compensate any further. While I appreciate not the customer service ladies fault, maybe a little more consideration and manners dealing with problems would go along way, I think its called customer service. Would I shop at Curry or recommend, not at the moment.

I purchased a laptop from currys on 17/8/18 which i had to return on the 29/9/18 with a fault on the keyboard. I was told it would be sent away for repair & i would be informed by text when the item was ready for collection. I received a text on the Friday 5/10/18 telling me that my laptop was ready for collection so instead of leaving it till the following morning which was a busy Saturday i decided to make the trip early evening Friday only to be told the item had not been delivered. I was fuming as they thought it was nothing special & sometimes happens. I asked to speak to someone higher up to make proper complaint as this was not the service i expected. Someone did come to me & after i had voiced my disapproval he went away to speak with someone else for a minute or so. He then returned to tell that my laptop was here after all but nobody could be bothered to fetch it from the stores at the back of the shop. Very very poor customer service but after reading other reviews i am not surprised. I was never a fan of currys & this just backs up my feelings about there poor & shoddy treatment of customers. Another lost customer.

Absolutely bloody disgusted with this companies customer service. Having to wait till an inquiry is finished with Dpd till i can have my tv or money back . Thats a right attitude to have what about me being out of pocket or even my daughter actually getting her birthday present. Ordered two tvs , over the phone ,was told they would be delivered friday 28th sept . But what i wasn't told was that my 1 order would be delivered by two separate companies. The large tv was delivered, no problem. When i asked where the other one was, he told me dpd deliver the smaller items. No small tv arrives, this starts the first of hours on the phone to currys. Apparently it left their depo in time for dpd to deliver it friday but they didn't do so rearranged for monday , still no tv , more time spent on the phone apparently its lost . Someone will call tomorrow, Tuesday , i laughed , but hey i was right no return call. Phoned them again , its under investigation. Called again tonight, still under investigation, it was only raised Tuesday , it could take a few more days ,i can't get a refund until the investigation is concluded, but hey Currys will be refunded when its sorted out . I asked, and how will i know its been concluded you'll get an email . It all absolutely stinks !!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬

Don't seem to care about Breach of Contract or Customer Service My order for a large product was placed online on the 14th September 2018 with a fixed delivery date agreed of the 27th September 2018 (full day window for delivery). I waited for the item all day as I had received no additional correspondence. I chased up with customer service the following day and have been told that there was a failure in there process and that the item was not available. My payment has been in their account for over 2 weeks and the order without my agreement was cancelled during the conversation and I'm told to expect a refund in another weeks' time (three weeks of having my money and not be in a position to deliver the item I ordered). My situation was dismissed by customer service staff and a half-hearted apology and poor compensation offered. I could not get the details of this or the conversation conclusions in writing and was only given a couple of names. I asked about 20 times for the issue to be escalated to someone who could deal with the problem but this was refused and I was not allowed to speak to another member of staff or manager. I have wasted a further 1.5 hours approximately on phone calls alone trying to resolve the issue. Case number has been setup for me and I have said I want to issue a complaint but not helped to do this by customer service. Team KnowHow have so far dismissed all responsibility and are happy to be seen as untrustworthy and dishonest. I'm waiting to see if it is escalated and will update as necessary. Seems that legal action is only way to get this company to behave responsibly.

So I trade up my RBS rewards to obtain Curry’s vouchers in order to purchase a very expensive coffee machine from this company. Before doing to I check it’s in stock, reserve it then obtained the gift vouchers (which I wouldn’t otherwise have bought). I purchase the machine, pay for it and am provided with a receipt and delivery date. 4 days later I receive an email to say Curry’s cannot provide me with the machine and refund the vouchers REFUSING to then refund the cost of the vouchers to me. The lady ‘ROSETTA’ who I had dealings with should NOT be employed in customer service. She alluded to me attempting to commit Fraud and Laundering Money. Her manager who was more polite certainly was unable to resolve the issue. I now have a very expensive gift voucher that is of no use to me whatsoever and no coffee machine!!! Would AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I bought a blender from Currys Crayford today, but the operator Maryam was very rude and made me angry. That ruined my day. I went there to collect the blender and I had to repeat 3 times what I want , almost shouting because she wasn’t concentrated. I don’t think she is good for this job.

They use a company called Team Knowhow for their deliveries and repairs. Currys should know that Team Knowhow are so poor that the Currys name does not deserve to be linked to such an ineffective company. They are either comedians or just completely useless.

Worst customer service - this company needs to be better regulated and shut down Disrespectful, shocking service from the floor stuff to the CEO - Alexander Baldock. I ordered online, it has taken them 1 month to arrange for a return/collection and refund - I still don't have my money. They are stealing customers money. I have spent overall 376 minutes on the phone being put through to different departments and staff that is rude, entitled and racist. The TV that arrived was broken - you could hear it through the box, yet they said to me over the phone that I 'could be lying about this'. The CEO repeated this through his secretaries. I have actually stupidly ordered another set from them, despite this they are refusing a refund as apparently I lie about the breakage. What pirate company is this? No other company treats customers like this. By the way I was a secret shopper, by the competitor. All correspondence was in writing that has now been passed over to 4 media outlets.

Poor delivery service. We were given a time slot and 20min before time slot ended, we received a call from driver saying he had run out of driving time and could no longer deliver our goods. We were unable to get through to customer services probably because of the high volume of complaints from others in similar situation. Eventually spoke to an advisor at 7.50pm . This seems to be a common occurance. We have to go through the delivery process again next week. Such poor service.

zero stars all the way. First delivered a faulty fridge freezer, then when collection and replacement delivery was booked, delivery guys refused to do either saying they don't do first floor. Before I ordered this online, I was told specifically by their sales person that they do free deliveries up the stairs into the specified room! Now left with no usable fridge, just a faulty one and money still not refunded! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Terrible terrible service by knowhow team! Bought Dell XPS laptop last week Sunday with promise it would be at Warrington store on Tuesday with all installations completed. Phoned central line several times yesterday morning i.e. 3 days after promised date. Store did not get back until evening. A member of team said: "Laptop might or might not be in warehouse who haven't unpacked goods. Phone store directly tomorrow". I tried next day (today) several times but no answer. Phoned central number again and they are not having any luck getting hold of the team either. If I had known this was going to happen I would have ordered directly via Dell online which, with same installations, is £50 cheaper and have a 2 day home delivery. Terrible service from Warrington branch!!

I have had the worst customer experience of my life with Currys. I want to share my experience with as many other potential victims as possible so please share and forward. I ordered a new cooker with installation and removal of old appliance, it took two weeks and no time of delivery was given so I waited in all day. The cooker was delivered by driver not qualified to fit or remove so it was dumped on my small kitchen floor so I cannot cook, get to sink, fridge or cupboards. I have called customer service five times so far, heard a different story from every adviser and spent over 90 minutes on the phone or waiting for calls to be answered. I have been made various promises of installation in two days and of being called back, none of which has happened. I am now being told I have to wait 9 days for installation from delivery and if I arrange it myself it invalidates the guarantee. This company has no understanding of customer service and only seems interested in following company procedures and systems, even when they clearly do not work or deliver a service. What a shambles...

Customer service is non existent. Since finding out about last years hack, having thousands of customers details, I have been trying to delete my account. (I didn't create it. Currys did, using email and name from a click &collect order). I am directed to a form demanding more info, which will be kept after the request is dealt with! This is to include copies of passport, bank statement utility bill , phone number. How will this help. They have nothing to compare with. Also, this form states you do not have to use this form. Requests on other media will be accepted. After lots of email message requests I still get replies (from 5 different people) demanding that I must use the form. And there is no alternative.
