“We were very pleased with the cake we ordered overall, however it was a bit on the dry side and not enough filling. The arrangement and delivery were great!”

“A bit on the expensive side, wish the prices as well as shipping could be cheaper. Perhaps offer a smaller cake size? I ordered from Cutter & Squidge many times before and finding the quality of the dream cakes declining over time.”

“Easy to order and delivered in perfect condition. Cake looked impressive and when tasted was yummm, so many textures and smooth cream. It pleased 2 people who 'don't like cake' so that's impressive!”

“The cake was lovely and moist and exquisitely decorated. However I did find the icing a bit on the sweet side. It was also crumbling off the cake which helped as we preferred to not eat the icing.”

“Food was great, loved the brownies in particular! Cookies were good but would have been better if they were labelled. I took off a star because delivery is extortionate and most places will offer free delivery for a minimum spend order. Plus it would be good to be able to build your own box and choose the flavours”

“Prompt and delivery. Scones were a little on dry side but we consumed them 2 days later. Not enough clotted cream - but then again there never is! Brownie was yummy. Lemon drizzle a little too sweet. Loose leaf was a little average, possibly while following instructions made a little weak.”

“Absolutely delicious Raspberry Ripple Cake that freezes well too. Beautiful to look at; Cutter and Squidge take a lot of care to make the cakes look special. 4 not 5 stars because delivery is very expensive and don't stick to the exact slots requested.”

“Ordering was quick and easy, delivery was on time and the box went down well with the recipient. Only criticism is that the macarons in our box had been quite badly damaged in transit - still edible, but not as nice to look at as a birthday present! Would suggest that the boxes are better protected from couriers in order to give them 5 stars.”

“Very tasty and rich cake. I would have given it five stars if they had used chocolate ganache instead of buttercream. It was also was a bit too sweet. However, overall it was a crowd pleaser and we really enjoyed it.”

“The afternoon tea was really nice, the lemon drizzle cake in particular was lovely! It arrived when expected and there was enough that we had several sittings between the two of us. The only criticism I would have is how much packaging was involved! Lots of plastic and it felt like some of it was unnecessary. Otherwise all good.”

“We ordered a wedding cake from Cutter & Squidge. We were kept up to date with the delivery and an accurate tracking link, which did stop us worrying and chasing to see if the cake had been dispatched. Upon delivery though the cake was damaged (note always check the condition whilst the driver is there) so the cake was refused. As the cake was being delivered to parents this was without our knowledge and we were pretty worried about what happens next. I immediately called but could not get through to anyone after several attempts, which only escalated my worry level. I also sent an email, which was then automatically replied with a 2 day turnaround, but as we were leaving for the wedding the next day that added to the pressure. But then I was then called back (within 20 minutes of the email) and spoke to Hannah who was very helpful and informed me that the cake was on the way back to the bakery and would be back with us by 8pm that night. It got back to us in perfect condition by 5pm and all was well. I found this great customer service and even given this issue, which cannot be helped no matter how careful you are, would recommend this company. If I could suggest to C&S that this information be published, that would be even better and have stopped some more stress lines appearing on my forehead in the first place ;-)”
