“Postal order cakes are great and the short turn around between ordering and delivery also ticks a box if you are tight for time or have forgotten to get something for an occasion. However the cake quality is average. Nothing horrible but also not great.”

“Food apparently was delicious. Delivery was a disaster… wasn’t entirely happy with the response to sort out the problem, one order came to my home address rather than intended and the other order went to another address entirely and my daughter got the wrong one. Bit of a palaver.”

“We really wanted to like these. I loved the website, the easy ordering process, and especially, the quick/convenient home delivery. But, I'm sorry to say the actual cakes really didn't impress us. The flavour was ok but we found the sponges rather dry. But mainly it was the buttercream that disappointed. I generally prefer buttercream over icing but this reminded me more of artificial cream, not nice. Because of this we aren't going ahead and ordering our actual wedding cake.”

“Hi cutter and squidgy. The cake was beautiful but the delivery affected the presentation. The bride loved it but we couldn’t use it on the wedding day. This was because of its presentation as the delivery had clearly knocked about the presentation. But again beautiful in terms of taste, allergies and digestion - thank you.”

“Well presented, good tasting although in an ideal world something to contrast the sweetness would be perfect. I ordered the cake for the day before I needed it which was fine as it arrived in the later afternoon.”

“The present arrived on time and my sister was pleased. When I mentioned something about the fudge she didn't respond and we carried on talking. The following day I had a phone call to say that the fudge had been missing from the hamper and was offered a voucher. They handled it well although the reason I went for that option was the fudge as a favourite sweet of hers. I may use them again”

“This was ordered as a gift so I can’t comment on the contents. I was however disappointed as the two boxes arrived without the sleeve that should surround them. That made the gift, now just 2 orange boxes, look less appealing than I had hoped.”
