I ordered a DKNY purse and was told it was in stock and the payment was taken from our Paypal account. During this time I had an email from Very Exclusives offering me the same purse at the same discounted price of £53. I deleted this email believing I would receive my order from Daniel Footwear. I then got an email from Daniel Footwear to say they couldn't get the item and our payment was refunded. The purse is now back at the original price of £75 on the Very website. Daniel Footwear should not accept orders and take payments before knowing for certain that they have the product. I won't be ordering from them again and will not be recommending them to anyone.

Got the wrong order ! I ordered black suede ankle boots and received flip flops ! Got them exchange ok but ordered them for a special occasion and replacement didn't arrive in time for it

I haven't actually got the delivery yet. I believe they are coming out to me as three seperate orders. One was supposed to be delivered last Friday, it didn't arrive. I got two emails this morning saying they would arrive but it appears as if the driver made no proper attempt as even though there is no one in our work reception every other delivery driver seems to manage to pick up the reception phone to speak to someone or press a button on the intercom. UKmail say a card was left, no it wasn't, unless he was never at this building?! I have sent UKmail an email, I'm waiting for a reply. The complaint is only about delivery, I'm sure the shoes will be lovely! Sorry to have to moan.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. I am sorry to hear you have had so much trouble with receiving your shoes, I can completely understand your frustration. If we do not have the shoes in our warehouse they are sent from our stores meaning that when ordering several items, they are sent out from different locations so to expect several deliveries. In regards to UK Mail, I will be passing your feedback on as all failed deliveries should be carded and drivers should make a complete attempt to deliver parcels. If you do have any problems with deliveries in the future, please do contact us and we will be more than happy to contact the couriers ourselves to sort this out for you. Actually my package came open and I did not know why it is done. Hopefully will be able to fix that in the future

Didn't realise you had to pay to return sale items cost me £11.30. Very disappointed wouldn't buy sale item again

I ordered 2 different pairs of shoes and when they arrived both were unsuitable due to very poor sizing. As they were in the sale I had to pay postage for both to send back.

Item arrived quickly, item was as described, however they were not suitable and had to be returned, this company does not provide free returns which made this an expensive look at a pair of boots. Will not be using this company again.

After 1 week without delivery contacted customer services who said the courier could not find the address. If this was the case why was I not notified? I was assured the delivery would be made today - it was not at close of business. Poor customer service and would not rush to use again!

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes. Both Michael Kors. Only one pair have arrived. I've been charged for 2. A note in the box says second pair coming from elsewhere. A week later they still haven't arrived.

Lovely style wedges but the quality was poor. Glue visible and the bottom of the heel was not joined correctly. Really disappointed as they would have looked great.

I received the wrong item. So could not give the gift to the intended person. Wrong shoe, wrong size, thanks to Molly who packed the item, I rang up customer services and they apologised and have me a 10% discount, not happy with the invonvenience and 10% doesn't really cover meissing out on giving a gift, or my time to get to a post office andake a return .... Don't know how long it will take for them to send out the correct item either.

I ordered a pair of Fitflops which I am very pleased with. What was not good at all was getting them to me. 6 days after placing the order I got in touch to find out where they were to be told that they had been delivered to the wrong address. Kris , who sorted this out for me was incredibly helpful. He arranged for another pair to be delivered to me the next day before 9am so that I need not waste any more time hanging around. 9am came and went.. The website showed a delay message posted at 8.57. Another call to Kris who spoke to the delivery co - delay due to traffic apparently ( blatantly untrue) and company unable to contact driver as no phone number. Bizarre. The shoes arrived at 11.30. The driver informed me that he did not leave the depot till well after 9am and he was not aware of any delivery time slot. i fed this back to Kris and suggested that Daniel Footwear might like to offer me something to encourage me to shop with them again as this was an especially bad first experience. I've had no further contact so I guess not.

This is the second time I have ordered shoes on line and got an email the following day to say the shoes were actually out of stock... So disappointing and unsure why and the fact this has happened twice.. Not good when you buy shoes and look forward to receiving them. First time customer service were excellent. This time not so good, not really sorry or helpful.

Ordered shoes and paid for next day delivery. This didn't happen. The shoes were delayed in Leeds. I organised to collect (10 miles from depot). They weren't there. I returned next day to collect to find the shoes had been sent out for delivery even though I had organised to collect from depot. I met the driver at a point 5 miles away eventually to collect the shoes. They are too big so will be sent back. Not happy.

Ordered a size 41 shoe but they sent a size 42 and after phoning they informed me there wasn't a 41 in stock (according to the website they were available!) The Daniel representative I spoke to on the telephone didn't have a clue. She did say she was going to send a postage paid returns label via email which didn't arrive. I then had to telephone again the following day to send me the label. All this hassle for absolutely nothing!!!
