The Pull strap broke off on the first attempt to put the boot on. I didn’t have time to ask for a refund or replacement so I haven’t notified Daniel Footwear about it or given them chance to resolve the issue.

Disappointing purchase. The boots that were sent to me had been worn, they had scratched soles and mud on the heels. Although the Customer Services said to send them immediately back and paid the postage and they said as soon as I sent them a photo of proof of postage they would send me another pair. But this did not happen as they then didn't have a replacement pair. I was refunded in full.

I'm sorry to say that the shoes I received were obviously not a matching pair although the same shoe style. I have taken pictures of the pair sent to me and people laugh as they are SO different! Very disappointed as I liked them. Ann Rogers

Unfortunately the boots didn't fit me very well so I had to return. Very disappointed that it cost over£11 to return. I love your ranges but no longer have a shop in the area (Birmingham has closed) so reluctant to buy online now due to cost if I need to return.

Ordered a pair of boots which I never received because they was not in stock even though still up on website. Then once informed they are not in stock I changed my order to a different pair and yet again same thing happened. They did refund my payment quickly though which was a plus I suppose. But would not order from them again.

2nd attempt at ordering from you and 2nd time I didn’t get the order as expected. 1st time I paid for next day deliver and it wasn’t sent out on time so wasn’t going to be delivered til the following week which was after the occasion I needed them for 2nd time I ordered and paid for two pairs of Manas boots, one pair I was then told was out of stock (despite me ordering and paying for it) 2nd pair arrive and although they fit and are comfortable they are a different brand to what was advertised. Just not good enough!!

Shoes arrived and soles on both scuffed indicating previous wear. Very disappointing so planned to return. Had to contact helpline to receive label to freepost. This service was efficient. Await refund. Have purchased a lot of Daniel shoes in past as like the styles and are comfortable. Disappointed by my first attempt to buy online in the absence of any Daniel store here in N Ireland as local store has closed.

Paid for next day delivery as wanted the boots for a particular occasion. When they didn't arrive, telephoned the company only to discover they had not been sent. Very disappointed and cancelled my order.

The shoes I ordered were good quality and excellent value in the sale. I was however disappointed with the time taken for them to arrive. My daughter had ordered the shoes for an interview and we arranged to have them delivered to our local branch. The website said delivery would be 2-4 working days. We ordered the shoes on a Saturday expecting them to arrive on the following Thursday or Friday at the latest. The shoes eventually arrived in store on the following Monday (9 days after they were ordered). My daughter had to rush to collect the shoes and go straight off to her interview which was not ideal and increased her stress levels.

Faulty item - punch on boots, returned,fair enough they paid for return but overall very slow and painful experience, will avoid in the future...

Ordered a pair of Michael Kors trainers in a size 38, which I assumed was EU sizing. Turns out this is IT sizing (whatever that is) so they were too big. This means all the Michael Kors footwear is only available in half sizes...... Had to return to the only store for miles so that it was free (even though it wasn’t my fault) and still waiting on my refund. Doubt I’d risk another purchase.

I ordered two pairs of boots online. The wrong boots were delivered to me. I then went in store to return the boots. I was only refunded for one pair in error. I am still waiting for the full refund.

I paid extra for next day delivery. They did not arrive next day and when I enquired I told that there was an issue with dhl. This to me is not an acceptable response and I feel I should have been offer a small refund of the extra I paid for next day. Constructively, in today’s market place customers expect free and simple returns process for online purchase rather than having to visit the post office and pay - most consumers don’t have time for this. I would hesitate ordering from Daniel again due to the inconvenience of returns. The shoes were lovely and beautifully packaged, I just decided they were not my style.

Products look lovely on the website but the reality is very different. One handbag came with the chain handle completely twisted and could not be straightened and one came so badly packed that the leather was creased and could not be smoothed out. Too expensive for that quality so they were returned. Very disappointing.

Bought a MK handbag and paid extra for quick delivery. The parcel arrived on time but did not contain my handbag but a shawl for someone in Edinburgh! Hit to call to advise Daniel Footwear of their mistake. Arranged for the items to be swapped only for the shawl to be sent bag to me 2 days later. Not impressed with the service although the handbag is lovely. Big doubts as to whether I will buy again.

I find the website very slow to load onto each page and collecting your order from the store ( Mill Hill ) wa snot a great experience as staff unhelpful when it comes down to online orders.

I bought Birkenstock Madrid Big Buckle sandals from Daniel Footwear because I could not find them here in the U.S. I was impressed with how quickly I received them! Unfortunately, they aren’t a good fit for my feet but now I can’t return them because the shipping costs $117, which is more than I paid for the sandals! Now I’m stuck with sandals that I can’t wear.
