Admittedly I only purchased my shoes in the sale and they was a really cheap price, however after receiving my shoes I couldn’t believe how they had been sent to me. The white soles had clearly been worn. Covered in black dirt on the soles. Scatches all over the front of shoes. I was so so disappointed to receive them in that condition. I rang customer service and the lady I spoke to was really nice and apologised. I obviously Sent them back. I do have the same shoes which I purchased from Ciel shoe shop in Beverley. But when they went down in price, thought I would order another pair but to my disappointment received them second hand. I normally always go to Ciel in Beverley for my Daniel shoes and normally pay full price but the staff are lovely and do inform me on your 20% off days. Don’t think I’ll order online again from Daniel as it’s clearly put me off.

The wrong size shoes were in the box a size 40 was ordered and a 39 were in the box. They had to be returned I have asked for my postage to be returned as well as this was your error and not mine

Hi Christine, I cannot see that you have contacted us about this issue however I am sorry to hear you received the wrong item. I have spoken to the warehouse manager who will ensure his team are double checking what they are sending out. I have tried to call you this morning and I have also emailed you about this. Please can you let me know if you are wanting a full refund on this or if you would still like these shoes. If you still want these shoes I will check them myself before we dispatch another pair to you. Once again I am sorry for the inconvenience caused and I hope to get this resolved as soon as possible. The item delivered was a completely different model and colour to the one ordered. The issue was sorted a week later but the venue l was originally buying it for had then passed

The quality of goods and delivery are very good, however when goods are in the sale the returns procedure is very poor resulting in a very expensive way to shop

Ordered salegoods which didn’t fit. It cost me £12 in postage to return and then the refund was £5 less than I had paid Rip-off hidden in thesmall print. I won’t buy from Daniel Footwear again!

Have a few pairs of Mel shoes but these ones were extremely small fitting

I ordered some VW Mellisa shoes for my Fiancee. My Fiancee had tried to use your service before and the wrong size hugs were sent and it took her months and many call to get a refund even though you had the boots. I decided to give you another chance and things never went smoothly. Like last time the buying and paying went very well but after you had my money it stopped. There was a mix up and the courier lost the shoes. I was left for a weekend not knowing for sure if I would get them and the thought of you giving a refund only brought up our last experience. So Monday came and you never called which I thought was poor and Tuesday afternoon I decided to call you. I was told a second pair would be sent and I will receive a tracking number via email. I did not. Very poor. So the next day I had to call again and was told the shoes were coming (and they did) but he was going home so never sent the email. The shoes are good from what I can see as there a gift and not been given yet and the price is good but the customer service from your courier to your staff needs a total overhaul.

Ordered 3 pairs of boots the same ones and the condition they were sent to me were very poor ! Still waiting for 2 pairs to be refunded to me .

My shoes never arrived and whilst it was a courier issue - it was not dealt with effectively until I repeatedly chased by email and telephone and by luck managed to speak to a manager. The shoes are OK - and considering I got them at a sale price (though still £80) I don't mind the flaws (glue on suede - scratches on leather) but had I have paid full price they would have been sent back

Although the delivery time was reasonable, I was disappointed when the item arrived because of the sparse packaging. I had paid £50 for an Ugg bobble hat, expecting it to arrive in a box or some other type of official Ugg packaging so that I could present it as a gift for Christmas. It actually turned up in a clear plastic bag, which was wrapped in another blue plastic bag. I even thought it could be fake as their was no Ugg certificate as you would expect with Ugg items (I have purchased many Ugg products from various retailers and have never had such terrible non-authentic packaging before) . I would not use Daniel footwear again because of this.

Hi Lisa, I am sorry you were not happy with your item. I cannot see that you have contacted us to discuss this? I can assure you all of our UGG products are genuine and authentic. You are able to check this on https://www.ugg.com/uk/counterfeit.html and typing in Daniel Footwear and you will see we are an authorised seller of UGG. Unfortunately our UGG Hats do not come in a box from the supplier so we are unable to send them in an UGG box. I ordered the shoes thinking I had plenty of time for the shoes to get delivered before Christmas but the shoes went missing on route. I checked the status of my delivery on line and it said there had been an attempted delivery. No attempt had been made. After phone calls and emails it was discovered that the shoes had gone missing. Daniel Footwear did agree to send some more out but they would have been sent by the same courier company and not guaranteed in time for Christmas therefore I deceived it was safer for me to drive to Leeds to pick these up myself. I did receive an email with an apology and a discount code for my next purchase but this being my first experience with Daniel Footwear, I will be honest and say I don’t think I will be rushing back. It’s a shame your courier service let you down

It was not indicated on the website that sizes were UK sizes and not US sizes, so I received a pair of boots that were too big. I then tried to ship them back to you all from the U.S., but it was going to cost over $200 to ship them back and that was more than what I paid for them, so now I am having to try and sell them on my own. Just a big inconvenience to add to the list at this time of year.

I was allowed to order and pay for the goods which I was then told was not in stock and therefore I had to contact them to get a refund and still now they are available on the website for purchase for somebody to go through the disappointment I did

The reviews said was a good fit for slim legs, when item arrived it was really wide in the leg. Description needs to be clearer as although it said wide fit I thought this referred to the width of the actual foot which I prefer a wider fit across the foot. I then ended up paying £14 to post back for a pair of boots I only tried on, there should be free returns or cheaper options for returns. I wont buy online with you again for this reason

Quick delivery. One size too big other too small. I need to pay for return as these were classes as sale. Will stick to cloggs or rubbersole or john Lewis when buying fitflop in future. Would not use Daniel footwear again. Awaiting refund for both items.

I have looked into this and it looks like we spoke to you on the day you made the purchase to let you know that there was unfortunately a delay with the couriers and that your parcel would not arrive in time for the next day delivery. Everything went smoothly as far as the ordering and delivery. The area that needs to change is free returns. I would continue shopping on Daniel Footwear if you had free returns
