“I didn't make a purchase as I was asked to provide proof of address (sometihng I have never had to do on any other website) so won't be using Daniel Footwear again. I also asked for the purchase to be cancelled and have received nothing by way of confirmation”

Dear Janet, Thank you for your review. I apologise for the late reply, we have experienced some technical difficulties with our review system. I'm sorry to hear that you were not happy with the service that you received. We try and provide and easy and stress-free service so I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. Our payment system runs a series of fraud checks to enable us to send our orders out securely. When ordering through PayPal, the addresses that you use need to be verified with PayPal. If they are not able to verify the address then we are required to contact you and ask for proof of address before we proceed with your order. These measures are taken in line with our payment processor’s guidelines and for the protection of our customers as well as our own. Unfortunately we are not able to change the address on PayPal orders as the new address has not been processed through the system. Our only option is to cancel the order as it stands and re-place it with the correct information. I apologise if you did not receive an email to confirm the cancellation and refund of your order. “not purchased at moment as the boots i have seen are on line however the assistant was so helpful in the shop as she offered to transfer the boots in store for me so i could use my credit note against them so hopefully they will be perfect . great service .”

“Tan leather wedge size EU38. Sadly, when the shoes arrived, there was a very slight difference in colour - possibly from one being on display in the shop, but moreover, they were very tight. The shoes were so small in fact, they felt a whole size too small so I have had to send them back. They were also very rounded at the toe which appeared to shorted the length of my foot in an unflattering way :( They were a good price however, and a nice summer heel if you have very narrow size 4 feet!”

I'm very sorry to hear that you have experienced this poor service from our courier. If you place your order with standard delivery then it should be with you within 4 working days. On the rare occasion that this delivery time is not met we contact the courier for you and your postage will be refunded. “Ordering and delivery were good, but because I had bought Sale shoes, I had to pay for return. If that hadn't been the case, I would have reordered my shoes in a different size as I did like them but they were a little big, but didn't want to take the chance and have to pay for another return. Because other sites do offer free returns on sale items, it would possibly prevent me from buying from you in the sale, unless I was absolutely sure that I would want to keep them. C”

“The shoes are beautiful and very comfortable. Just dissapointed that when i looked at the shoes again a short time after ordering (before i had received them) the price had been reduced to £19.99 (half price!)”

“Boots arrived the day after I placed the order. I was pleased with the quick delivery but it was only by chance I was in to receive it. it would be an idea to text/ email delivery details to the customer. The box was very battered but the boots had not been damaged.”
