Disappointed with bouquet not many flowers, cost appears to go on teddy balloon and small box of chocolates. Shall not purchase again.

The flowers arrived a day late and when I emailed customer service I received an unapologetic response. The flowers didn't even last one week. I won't be purchasing from here again.

The Post Office attempted to deliver on a Wednesday but nobody was home. They left a card but the lady I sent the flowers is old and has memory problems - she lost the card and forgot to mention it to me. Subsequently, the flowers sat at the sorting office for over a week! They were not beautiful fresh flowers by the time we sorted it out. I am very surprised and disappointed that the Post Office did not redeliver the next day.

Small bunch, some flowers already in a very sad state on arrival. Still has a few buds to open so will hopefully improve in appearance. Disappointed in overall quality.

The flowers should be fresh and proud on arrival. If you order from us in the future and the flowers are not in a good state please call us straight away.

I was sadly disappointed by these. I got them for a friend sho is going through a bit of a tough time and when I went to see her I was very underwhelmed when I saw them. Not worth the money

Very disappointed with the flowers, very small and looked nothing like the picture, for the amount I spent it was a rip off, I will never use again.

I was extremely disappointed that the cake I ordered to accompany the flowers and wine was a cake mix , if this had been mentioned on the website I wouldn't have ordered a cake mix for £5.99!

small bunch of flowers which lasted only two days. the wrapping was good but to be honest the flowers were rather disappointing.

The flower was nice but it didn't come in a vase although it is advertised as "Gift: Free Vase" (it is written even in the confirmation email).

Paid extra for the Large bouquet - the size is pathetic probably smaller than a standard bouquet if anything - really dissapointed. Also paid for next day Delivery and delivery took 2 days and nothing was done to amend this, won't use again.

I was disappointed that they didn't have the balloon I ordered in stock. So they substitute the happy birthday balloon for a congratulation balloon without any notifications. it was embarrassing for me when they received the gifts with it saying congratulation

Hi Jimil, sometimes it's necessary to replace elements of an order if we have stock issues. Due to the importance of delivery deadlines with birthday flowers, we do have to act quickly sometimes. It's rare, and we generally find something suitable but obviously not in this case. We have spoken to you about this and hopefully resolved the issue to your satisfaction. Regards, customer relations

Wasn't impressed with the flowers at the price I paid! Won't be using debenhams again for flowers!! I have had much better flowers from other retailers!

Hi, sorry to hear there was some confusion over who had sent the flowers. When ordering, you are given the option to write a message which is included with the flowers. If one isn't completed, then it's blank. Apologies if this wasn't clear when ordering. Kind Regards, Customer relations

Disappointing. Flowers are not great - and they failed to send me the dispatch email so I was worried the flowers hadn't been sent. Then they told me I wasn't entitled to a dispatch email as I hadn't paid enough for delivery, even though they had sent me an email saying I would get a dispatch email - which is why I worried when I didn't get one. The man I spoke to was not reassuring. I later responded negatively to a request for feedback and was sent an additional bouquet as an apology. The "sorry" flowers were much, much nicer than the regular monthly flowers, which arrive in poor condition.

Can not believe that the postage man took these back to the depot without leaving at neighbours. Unfortunately these were for a bereavement . to which our colleague was not in .

was disappointed to realise that the next day delivery i paid for was in fact a day late! I didn't see this until i rang the recipient. You need to make this more clear on the "Confirming page/payment page". This is why i gave a 2. It was upsetting as it was for a 70th birthday. i would of given a 5 had that arrived the next day as i had intended!!! ;-(

Although we do offer guaranteed delivery dates, the method used on your order - 'tracked delivery' is one that means the order can arrive a day either side. We do try to make it clear in the ordering process but evidently it wasn't clear enough when you ordered. I ordered flowers on the 18th of April expecting next day delivery as stated on the website. My order was placed at approximately 10am and the flowers arrived at approximately 10am two days later. When I complained I was told that I had chosen a delivery date of the 20th. Not so. I did not get the option of a delivery date and the date was only made obvious once I had completed the transaction and paid. Even then I did not notice this until it was pointed out to me in an email from Debenhams after I complained. If I had realised that the flowers would be in transit for about thirty eight hours I would not have purchased them I would have tried to find a local florist. Seems like next day delivery only applies if you live south of the border. Very disappointing.
