“Decathlon is an excellent shop. It's great for well-priced everyday stuff - if you do sports regularly, you need plenty of kit and it all adds up. I'm a runner, skier and kayaker, all of which need plenty of reliable spare kit because it gets cold and wet. Decathlon must have saved me hundreds of pounds over the years on simple things like socks, shorts and gloves, and groovier things like buoyancy aids, rucksacks, running shoes, paddles and ski clothes. Sailors, footballers, hikers and campers will love it too - their cheap pop-up tents are fantastic. There are a few oddities - I don't really get why their fishing section doesn't have any fly-fishing stuff at all, and while the own-brand products are often excellent (have run marathons in their shoes and shorts) the branding is often a bit in-your-face. I also like the "click and collect" service, but have once had an incorrect delivery (the right items in the wrong size) but you can change straight away and generally it's excellent with prompt and accurate tracking of deliveries. Great shop.”

“Products are generally very good and reasonably priced. Any issues with online orders are promptly dealt with by customer services. The only issue I have is the way sizing is shown for clothing - it's not clear if S, M, L etc. is the european or UK sizing - it would be helpful if the size in "cm" was also stated for clarity.”

“Ordered an outdoor tennis table. Delivery great. Table easy enough to assemble - took two of us about an hour. Love the big wheels which make it really easy to manoeuvre and the levelling feet. Ordered a cover too which ripped after two days otherwise would have given 5 stars”

“Great products, good pricing but confusing when I ordered snow shoes that did not state they came with their own carry bags and next to that item there were snow shoe covers for sale inferring I will need them resulting in me ordering them and then having to return them as they were surplus to requirement.”
