The down jacket I bought online was extremely small for a size 16. In fact it was only slightly too big for my daughter who is a perfect size 10! Probably won't buy on line again.

We chose Decathlon as the web site stated that it could be delivered in time for our sons bithday. We therefore paid £40 for delivery. After 2 days we had not heard anything so had to chase this up to be told that someone had tried to contact us by phone and Email to arrange delivery and that the original delivery date was no longer avaialble. NO email had been sent to us and neither had we been called (no message was left). Therefore my view of this was it was quite simply a lie When you order an item the delivery date is a key factor that you take into consideration, and it should be made clear that this date will only held for 24 hrs When I complained they said that the delivery company was only in my area on a set date and therefore they could not deliver until then (the afternoon of my sons birthday). The synic in me would say that they never intended to delivery before that date from the start as it would cost them less. Result was that I had no option but to await the delivery of the table tennis table on that date and was put in the horrible position of not having a present for me and my husband to give to our son on his 13th birthday. In addition we had to take a days leave off to be there on that date (we were off on the date they said they could deliver). Decathlon did refund the £40, however i woud have rather have paid the money and got it when I wanted it!. I will not be ordering from them again as there are not reliable.

I purchased running shoes but no-one seemed interested. When I purchased my previous shoes in Greaves Sports Glasgow they checked my running on video to make sure the shoes were suitable. No such interest at Decathlon. Disappointing.

After buying a RockRider 500 MTB the brakes were far too loose and the chain ring broke after changing gear. This subsequently caused the front derailleur to dealign itself. Overall very disappointed.

I asked for notification when an item came into stock. Received no notification but on checking 6 months later found it in stock at Stockport.

Your customer toilets were absolutely disgusting! The smell awful and floor flooded. Your in store computer to order items to be collected in store on another day malfunctioned 5 times!!! And it seemed most of your staff did not know how to use it!!! Not sure I will ever come back!

The bike I have received is of good quality but the assembly seems to be poor. It's making a lot of weird noise. Being a new bike owner, I'm not much aware of bikes. After a two weeks of usage the rear tyre got punctured as this was of low quality. As I leave too far from decathlon show rooms it's hard for me to get it repaired with them..

Bike was good, almost fully assembled and in a box several times its size. other items not as described. my pumps were an infants size 10 not an adults as they should have been, what thought bras were bra straps! and my other pumps nice but pigskin where synthetic material should have been :( did not return cos of cost/hassle

Inshore checkout takes far to long usually only one person on, self service regularly not working products that you are very comparative with other stores

Ordered some inline roller for my daughter. Had to send them back as they were very unconfortable. The procedure to follow seams simple enough.... Until it said to print the return form... Well I couldn't find a return form to print .. Also it cost me £12.98 to send the item back. Will not order from Decathlon again.

I had to make 3 150 mile round trips to get my bike sorted out, the gears were badly adjusted, sold the wrong rear panier holder did not fit, then when I returned refused to fit the correct one until I refused to leave the store until they did!! Staff did not seem at all knowledgeable and rather uncaring, very disappointed.

We ordered a bike for my daughters 7th Birthday but when we came to assemble the bike the night before the pedals were missing. Also part of it was scratched/stained which looked as if it was done in the production of the part rather than in the delivery process. We can live with these marks as they are half hidden by the pedals (if they were supplied). In order to save my daughters birthday I had to fit pedals from my wife's bike which luckily fit so she could use it on the day of her birthday. My wife is planning on calling you today to try get the pedals resent but as this is the first time we have used you and as we were recommended to you by a friend, its not been great so far guys. Hopefully your customer services will resolve this by issuing us some new pedals. Sorry to moan but you did ask. Matthew

The service at Decathlon was great! However it was the DHL service that really let the whole thing down. It took them four attempts to deliver my item, every time saying that the delivery was unsuccessful as the recipient was not at home which was just not the case. On the days of delivery my fiancee worked from home, so someone was there for the whole day. Finally we arranged with DHL to take it to Staples in Oxford where we could pick it up. The parcel arrived at our house that day. If an arrangement was made it should have been stuck to. The poor service of DHL reflects very badly on Decathlon

Tent bag was damaged, sent a replacement eventually but it wasn't the right one, should have been classed as a seconds as it's now got different coloured bag and is not perfect new condition, not very happy

Ordered goods, got email a couple of days later saying goods had arrived but subsequent phone call to say goods haven't arrived and they would contact when goods arrived. I then got an email 4 days later saying goods have arrived and went to collect them only to find goods haven't arrived and they had run out of stock. I was promised a refund but after a week of not getting it I phoned up to be told that the refund had actually been put through as a return and wouldn't get my money until they received goods. Thankfully the person on the telephone was helpful and resolved this within 10minutes. All in all a pretty protracted process to essentially achieve nothing.
