I received excellent service. I had to return both items and have them replaced with different sizes. No problems doing this and only took a week from me sending back to receiving replacements.

Excellent ratio price/quality, easy to buy/order, offer the click and collect and the in store delivery which makes even easier to order. Should encourage more the customer to give a review of the product they bought. Some in store staff would benefit from a customer service training. At the end, I like Decathlon.

Very pleased with my swimming costume. I kept one and returned one, which was an easy process although I did have to pay the postage to return it.

Interesting that I ordered two of the same items (we have twins) in different colours, but they were different prices. They came in two very different packaging, one in small box with item packed in appropriately named box, whilst other came in large packaging with items (in-line skates) simply in two plastic bags with label stapled to one - they were also the dearest. The courier, DHL also dropped the parcels at the wrong address, luckily I recognised the name of the person who signed and went to fetch them. There was no way of getting in touch to comment on this until now. The web site was simple to use, and I believe the skates are now being appreciated by our grandchildren.

The Kalenji Run Light - Sits at a suitable height on the body so as not to cause too much glare towards oncoming people with its 3 mode very bright light, however - 1) getting a comfortable position on your body without it moving around is difficult, and would be better with a second shoulder strap for stabilisation. 2) a small 'shade' over the top of the light would stop the glare going up to your own eyes. 3) it would be much better if the rear light could be switched off when running in a group, as the flashing red light is just too bright for people behind. I've had to resort to sticking black tape over most of it to avoid causing annoyance. For a solo runner in the winter however, it's probably just what you need.

I ordered my bike online and arranged that I would pick it up from the store. All this was extremely easy. There was a helpful guide on the size of bike likely to suit me. Again really easy. Went to pick up the bike, it was there ready for me to pick up, no problem. The only niggle was that it wasn't clear if the bike was set up or not. The pedals weren't attached, again this hadn't been made clear. If this had been made clear it wouldn't have been an issue and I would have given 5 stars. A small piece of clarity would have made the difference. The product is great by the way.

The product I bought (Tribord snorkelling mask) was brilliant but when I first tried to order online they were out of stock. I selected to be notified when the item was back in stock but unfortunately I never heard anything and luckily checked the website again and found they were back in stock, almost 2 months later. I don't blame Decathlon for not having the stock as I was aware there was a supply problem with the manufacturer (they themselves were out of stock for months) but I don't see the point in asking customers if they wish to be informed when the item is back in stock if they're never going to bother contacting you!

The webb-site offers a huge choice, but sometimes the footware is only available in a few sizes. Wellington boots are competitively priced, though sometimes they come folded up. This is not a problem in itself, but you do wonder if they have been recently folded, or if they have been packaged and left in that state for some time resulting in creasing or weakening along the fold lines. I have not yet found this to be the case, but the boots do take a while to resume their proper shape. If the balloons inside them were left intact then they would travel better.

Bought a cycle top. Way too small even though I tried two sizes up from my 'normal size' returned and received refund. Had to pay for return postage. Won't be buying from here agin.

I think the Decathlon shop in Sheffield is a good shop. I normally purchase items from Decathlon in the UK, in France, and online, and I tend to always be happy with both the acquired products and the shopping experience. I always use my Decathlon card, but wonder why, as the £5 discount for spending £250 seems rather mean.

Great service. Only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is the odd prices. Went into the breahead shop in Glasgow and received great customer service. After talking for a while I went home to think about it and decided I wanted to purchase specific snowboarding boots. I then visited the decathlon website and it was £15 cheaper than in store. I understand different costs are associated with different things, IE online against store, but with a company this big, prices should be standard. Anyone buying in store is paying £15 more for the same service. Anyway bar that, great service, great customer service and fairly speedy delivery
