“Return system through shop is poor. I was expected to hand over items without being given any sort of receipt, and was told that an email would arrive telling me that the credit was being sent to my credit card. Not good enough, there was no reason that the shop could not have credited my card straight away.”

“I was looking for a sleeping bag and some other camping stuffs. Because I am new in the field, I had so many questions about the equipment I was about to buy. I found out all the information I needed on Decathlon website whereas I couldn't on the other retailer websites. I ordered online and got my stuff on the predicted date. Very straightforward.”

“New layout at Giltbrook Retail Park is very poor - it now merges customer service/click & collect as well as the normal cashiers. I had to wait quite a while to be served in the single line and then ended up at a cashier who could not help me and sent me to stand behind the person being checked out by the click & collect till. Not well organised.”

“This was my first experience ordering with Decathlon. The wrong size boots were sent and I was not given the right information to obtain a refund quickly. I wasted a lot of time over this. Very disappointing.”

“I bought a bike in Deccathlon Warrington and I asked to the seller do a check up in my bike before a get home. Unfortunately I think the guy didn't made the check up and I think of you do this little things just catch the consumer.”

“The plastic container for the badminton set was broken at the end , but it was packaged in such a way that we couldn't do it up to return to you, also it is very stiff to get up & down, so I am afraid we couldn't give it a brilliant review.”

“Ordered it online, but it took a few days to arrive at the store and I could not get there in the few days after it was delivered to them. Phoned up to make sure it wasn't sent back and cancelled as I was out of the country and they said they'd keep it to one side for me. Brilliant! The very next day I got an email to say the order had been cancelled and I would get a refund. Still not received the refund. Not so brilliant. I'll go to Wiggle next time - at least it gets delivered to me.”
