“Mail ordered some skis, when they turned up they were damaged. How Decathlon handled my issue was first class, my skis were collected by courier next day, and replacements soon followed, which were perfect. I judge a company on how they deal with issues rather than smooth sales. Well done Decathlon!”

“I recently received an e-mail from you asking to confirm my date of birth as you were going to send me a gift for my birthday. My birthday was 19th Feb. I chased this up on 28 February and received an acknowlegment stating my query had been forwarded to the loyalty card manager but I have heard nothing since. Online ordering is good but I do get rather bombarded with e-mails. Most e-mails are useless to me as 1) I don't live anywhere near a Decathlon (unless you decide to open one in Newcastle in the near future) and 2) you target all sports in your communications rather than tailor them to people. My card details should tell you what my buying habits and therefore activities are. It's rare I actually get to a shop due to the travelling distance involved.”

Dear Ms Yola, Thank you for your feedback. We can see that your estimated date of delivery was 12/01 due to an item/s being sent from a warehouse outside of the UK this will mean that the order will have a 4 days processing time and an additional 1 in our warehouse in the UK before it is dispatched. We can see that despite this date your order arrived in store 2 days before the estimated delivery date but was collected by yourself on 16/02. We apologise that this process is a long wait and we are currently working on improving stock transfer to the UK. Have a wonderful day.

“All fine except the exclusion of delivery to "the south" which is physically attached. I had to use my parcel motel address and so incur 2 delivery charges which is nuts.”

“Spent a while online searching for willies and Decathalon had lots of choice at a very competitive price. Best of all was normal delivery charges. In the Highlands of Scotland, online shoppers can be disgracefully ripped off when it comes to delivery - so well done Decathalon”

“I bought this scooter Oxelo 9 Town to move myself quickly between my village and train station. I must say that it's just great. It get a bit to get used to it because it's not the same like bicycle, for example the brakes are weaker but it has a lots of benefits. I'm satisfied”

“Sorry to give a bad review but several items were ordered and not delivered within the time frame specified and as a result I went on holiday without items needed. I then had to run around potential newsagents and ask if they had my package as it was never delivered as I was away. Eventually it transpired the items were returned to yourselves but it took a while for this confirmation and credit. I love your goods but believe the online experience needs sharpening up. Just as well you are opening stores in the SW London. Good luck!”

“Emailed Decathlon twice asking for information on frame size on a certain bike I was interested in. No answer/reply after 72hrs so I phoned the nearest store to me who advised me and they were very knowledgeable and efficient. Bike is great.”
