“I ordered two pairs of swimming trunks size 36in waist. You sent two pairs size 38in waist! I had to go to the post office to send them back, requesting size 36in as ordered in the first instance. You sent another two pairs size 38in waist!! After a month of frustration , I am less than impressed.”

“I bought a camel back-pack in Dec/Jan however, I was subsequently given the exact back-pack as a xmas present. I went on your web site on numerous occasions in an attempt to return the one I purchased and was unable to access "my account". I could access all the other areas of the site but not the one to complete a return form. I am now stuck with an extra back-pack. I have bought from Decathlon on several occasions but will think twice if I cannot return an item if necessary!!”

“After being sent from an inquiry desk to the till then to an order screen to place an order. order placed and queued at till where they could not find the order, back to the order point to place it again. Back to till where they could not find it again despite now having 2 emails to confirm the order had been placed. A long wait for the order to be retrieved and payment was made. With the exception of Josh no one else seemed to have any idea of how to deal with our query. i would also suggest there is a conversion chart displayed at the order screens to enable us to work out which of you European size we need. :(”

“I was at the Surrey Quay Decathlon to collect the order I placed online. The order collection is not well managed. I was there a few times. Sometimes, no one is present at the counter. There was one time I was waiting at the queue. The staff was chit-chatting with the customer before me. I understand it is customer service. But I am also a customer, waiting to be served and I don't have time to wait. I just think that click and collect should be fast and simple.”

“Great product range for the price and most staff are very helpful. Only issues I have is the terrible in store ordering system where you have to join decathlon wth an account ( which takes ages). You then keep getting e mails from them every time you buy something even just over the counter despite asking to be taken off the mail out list.”

“I've used the online service once and the wrong size garment was sent but was swapped in store without any problems. As for the oxford store it's self I've visited on both weekends and week days and have often thought that more staff are required just to keep the store tidy often some of the shelves just look untidy and disheveled, however I've not visited the store since last November so this may not be the case now”
