“Decathlon is a fantastic shop with quality products at very good prices. The staff are always very keen to assist and I rate their products highly. I have had one bad experience where on a last minute shop before a ski trip I managed to leave a bag with £50 worth of clothing at the store just before closing time. When I got home and realised the shop had shut and our flight was early the next morning. While I managed to contact the shop from holiday, they could not locate the bag, and I have spoken to several staff and managers since who were unable to help me. Unfortunately this was never returned to me. However, I can not fault individual staff members and will continue to shop at this store for as long as I can foresee!”

“Initially I was disappointed to receive an item that was clearly a return. It was packaged incorrectly and didn't have its instructions or guarantee and wished I had bought it from John Lewis like I was going to. However I was subsequently very impressed by the way Decathlon not only sorted out the issue but got another one for me to exchange it with. They did not even quibble it and I was very pleased with the professional manner in which it was all dealt with. A very happy customer as a result! Thank you.”

“The only negative experience I have had is when items are marked on your web site as multi buy. on two occasions when this has happened it id not give me any details of the multi buy cost or quantities. Thanks”

“I ordered goods online that arrived promptly and were of high quality. Very pleased with product. Even when I had to exchange for larger size it was done efficiently instore and second pair arrived within a couple of days. Staff in EDINBURGH store very helpful and pleasant.”

“I ordered a bike which came late and was slightly damaged (the rear light was broken). I had various conversations with customer services and they were less than helpful. The light is still broken and there was no follow up from customer services. Very unhappy with the service that I received.”

“I ordered two pairs of swimming trunks size 36in waist. You sent two pairs size 38in waist! I had to go to the post office to send them back, requesting size 36in as ordered in the first instance. You sent another two pairs size 38in waist!! After a month of frustration , I am less than impressed.”
