I checked availability of adjustable hand grip on Friday Sep 02 2016. The website for Botley Road Oxford said 4 in stock. I ordered and paid for 1, reference # 8344978 at a cost of £6.99. I received confirmation of the order and collection on Sunday Sep 04 2016 and provided with a 3 day window to collect. Upon arrival at the store on Tuesday 06 2016 and inquiring about my order, I was presented with a bag where the tag had fallen off. The bag was identified as being the correct one for me. Unfortunately, someone had picked the wrong part and instead I was presented with a pair of essential hand grip reference 8344977 priced at £3.50. Just as well I checked the bag. I spoke to Annalisa who was very helpful and she apologized for the mistake. It transpired that the 4 in stock never existed and the wrong grips were placed in the bag for whatever reason, something I won't comment on in print. For some reason, I also noticed that the part reference # is nowhere to be seen on the order confirmation. You took too long to acknowledge my order, you implied that you had stock when you didn't and the wrong product was placed in the bag. On the basis of my experience with your Company, I won't be placing any more orders with you and will deal online with other Companies instead. At best, if I'm passing the store I might call in and select products in store. So far, the products I have purchased have been fine, but it's early days, so time will tell. I suggest your Management take a long hard look at how you can improve ordering online and in house picking.

Went looking for a life jacket at decathlon Coventry , we managed to find one which was signed at being £19.99 , which for a beginner was a good price . When we got to the till we were surprised at the £29.99 cost . After the supervisor came over and went to check , we found out there was 2 different types but only one price sign . And they didn't have bigger sizes in the £19.99 type. As a bigger guy we struggled to find my size . There was no real solution or help and I expected them to honour the price sign posted , but that didnt happen. I needed a life jacket so paid the higher price , but I'm not happy with the service that was given and the bad signing on the garments .

I bought a bike from Dechatlon lakeside for my son on Saturday 03.08.16,just to find out on Sunday the bike doesn't work. Monday afternoon at 18: 00.we took the bike back to the shop for a exchange. We chose a new bike and the waiting just started ,the boy who put the bikes together was so slow and he spend 25 minutes on the phone ,when he finished the conversation he said there is somebody else in front of me,so after 35 minutes we just give up and asked for a refund. Very bad experience, never again.

Unhelpful staff at Croydon, couldn't tell me my waist size in inches. One didn't seem to care, the other couldn't do this on the computer the third laughed when I said the service was a disaster

Some of the products are really good but others are hot and miss. I recently purchased a pair of Nike trainers in my size (according to measuring and my several other current pairs of this trainers from this brand). However they are at least 2 sizes to large and very narrow. Makes me question how they source these products as these are clearly factory rejects or a miss sized.

Great products at affordable prices. Very helpful staff , the guys at the bike service were knowledgeable and very helpful when we came to collect our new bike in August from the shop in Croydon. They don't time adjusting the bike.

Dear Sir/Madam, I tried emailing you regarding my Quechua tent I bought last summer, unfortunately the email address is invalid, I used this tent for a 4 night stay last year, the tent was great with no problems, once I returned I deserviced the tent throughly dried out and stored the tent, this year I took my family camping and we had dramas with the valves leaking the middle pillar was fine but the other 2 were defected, this meant we only stayed a day on my 3 day camping trip, been a ex solider I could of roughed it but my family couldn't plus it was embarrassing having a flat tent on the campsite. I wanted to contact you first before posting a bad review, I have noticed a couple of tents have suffered from leaking valves. I did try the spare valve but even that leaked, has there been a product recall on this tent? Obviously I would like this repaired with either new valves or pillars is this possible? Decathlon has a good variety of cheaply priced sports equipment. I have been using Decathlon sports clothing and equipment for a number of years and always found it good value and suited to its purpose. The only snag is that they don't always have everything in store that I want or the sizes aren't available.

Upon selecting new triban 520 bike, i was told the safety check would be carried out after completing the bike currently being set up in 15/20 mins time. I wanted to buy various accessories for my new bike so was browsing through the shop for at least 40 mins. Upon returning to the set up area i was told the assistant setting up my bike had gone on tea break and my bike was left in the rack where it had been situated when i came into the store. My bike was then set up by another assistance who was extremely helpful. Purchasing a new bike should be an exciting, enjoyable experience but after spending over £450 i found it more frustrating and annoying than enjoyable. I would not recommend decathlon coventry to anyone looking to purchase a new bike.

Purchased a bike Thursday 1st September and paid £12.99 for the express next day delivery! Just found out that it won't be delivered on the day that I took off to wait for it! I'm absolutely disgusted, because if I didn't check myself I would of waited all day!!! My first and last order with this joke of a company! Avoid like the plague!!!!

Jacket on display at a discounted price, picked up item with many other items and went to the checkout was told this jacket is not at the discounted price and in the wrong place. The difference in the jacke was not immediately apparent until pointed out a panel in the side of the was different. Their was know apology from the supervisor just an attitude of tough luck. I paid for the other items and left the store.

Feeling disappointed purchased a quencha base seconds pop up shelter as a gift for my daughter. When using for the second time noticed there was some small holes mid height at the side of tent. Given the price I expected the tent to be of better quality.
