“Whilst an excellent service the sizes are a lot smaller than expected. Unfortunately we will have to return garments ordered”

“I have used the online service and been into the shop and each time have been really pleased. The returns service was great when I had a problem but the stuff I have kept was great value and really did the job. We had thermals, ski trousers and glove liners from there and they were all great. They kept us warm and dry but for a fraction of the cost of other ski-wear retailers. I had boots fitted there and I got a fabulous bargain and everything the man said about the difference it would make to my ski-ing was true!! Highly recommend them for good value and high performance stuff.”

“I purchased some Nike tracksuit bottoms on the click and collect ordering system. Prompt delivery which is good especially as I wanted them urgently however they didn't fit. When I returned to the store I got a refund immediately with no fuss. Again prompt friendly service. Will be using the store again and recommending to family and friends.”

“The store has a comprehensive range of cycle equipment and priced competitively. The staff at the Branksome Poole store are attentive and most helpful However after returning an item ordered on line which was not suitable it has taken numerous e-mails and 3 weeks to receive a refund - this delay compensated by a £5 voucher provided.”

“Decathlon has some great products at some good prices. Very happy with my down jacket and the cycling socks. my only frustration is the having to pay for deliveries & returns and to be honest this has put me off buying more online. We don't have a store near us so we rely on online delivery and Decathlon's competitors don't charge for delivery or return so i can get things cheaper elsewhere. e.g. i'd love to buy some more cycling socks from Decathlon but by the time you add delivery cost it works out more expensive than buying socks from Wiggle with free delivery......so Decathlon miss a sale.”

“Item is excellent..the snorkeling trip we went on in Thailand would only let us use our own full face snorkel mask if it was a genuine Decathlon and not a copy..I would strongly recommend this item. Ordering was really easy and free delivery made it even better. Happy customer...have told loads of people!”

“It's a bit bulkier than I expected, and very heavy. I use it to commute to work and need to get a train for part of the journey, it would be good if there was some kind of lock mechanism for the wheel so that you can hold it still more easily when folded down. Front brake doesn't really work very well but it gives a feeling of added safety. Metalwork already really scratched upon opening. Otherwise it's a really good scooter to get around on. Sturdy and a good size foot plate. I'm 6"1 and the handle bars go plenty high enough for me.”

“You can buy everything from a canoe tho a now and arrow. Their own range of clothing and equipment is excellent I have the sporty kids as are my wife and I, we can shop at decathlon and walk out with bags of items and not have spent too much.”

“The product was perfect but as it was a surprise for my boyfriend somehow when the product wasn't recieved at the address given my boyfriend was emailed not me. Even though my email address was the one given. I don't understand how this happened but it almost ruined the surprise. However it worked out in the end.”

“Simple ordering process and fast delivery. Really impressed with the quality of the ski gloves, exceeding my expectations. The quality of products and online purchasing appears to have dramatically improved since I last used Decathlon a number of years ago when there were only a few stores in the UK, perhaps just London. Excellent experience...now please bring a store to Bristol ! Cheers, Rob”
