“I was looking forward to receiving this but I was a bit disappointed. The tops of mine were so sharp and not sanded at all. Pictures on the site look much better than what I received. Looks I have some work to do….. 😢”

“I just got my steals box today. I was so excited, then bummed and disappointed. The faux plant was in poor repair, with leaves all over the inside of the box. The runner is pretty thin for a runner... The items overall seem cheap, except for the mirror-it's nice. The solid wood vase, is dirty; weird right? I'm going to have to sand it down to remove the dirt, someone must have handled it with really dirty hands. IDK, I heard such good things about the other box, but this just left me feeling jipped. I'm hoping I can use a few of the items staged in a way that you can't tell how cheap they are. Fingers crossed.”

“Just recieved my Summer steal it box. Not impressed. The mirror is smaller than it actually looks and the framing around it is not gilded metal its wood, plastic appoxy. The table runner is very cheap and thin. Could have found something better at Home goods. And the faux plant is actually falling apart. The wood risers look nice but are very thin and hollow. The planter book ends are painted tin with metal inserts. The only thing of substance is the very small solid wooden vase.”

“Quality of some of the items was lacking. I purchased before I was aware they would reveal the items. Had I known what was in the box I absolutely would not have purchased as most items do not fit my decor. Fig tree was missing numerous leaves, mirror was chipped”

“I ordered at the early announcement when the contents weren't announced, shortly after they revealed what was inside and I was excited. It looked really great. Patiently waited a month for it to ship and when it came, I felt like I got the "Walmart" generic version. The quality was not there. Everything felt so flimsy and cheap. The Olive Tree I received was so fake the leaves were falling off, which had ugly chunks of plastic on it. I wouldn't pay $5 for it. The table runner was very cheap quality, but looked as pictured. The bookend pots are very flimsy but decent, the mirror which was the showstopper was even very cheap - like a knockoff. It wasn't heavy, it was hollow, poorly finished and had a flimsy back to it similar to Walmart pictures. The only part of the box that didn't disappoint was the risers. Whole box felt like a bait and switch. Show the quality, ship knockoffs. I'll be passing on DS products in the future.”

“I would love to rate my purchase but I have not received it as of today. Looking at the tracker it was in Indiana for 5 days before it shipped out to the next 12 cities and counting since I ordered it. The shipping is ridiculous and is discouraging me to order again. I hope I like my birdhouse. thank you. 6/7. Just received my order and the steeple is crooked. See picture.”

“I won’t order again. The wooden vase was gross ugly dirty wood and was sticky. The items seemed very cheap. There were two nice things out of the entire box. , the mirror and the plant. I was super and disappointed after being so exited for it to arrive.”

“I think this might be the first steal I’m really disappointed with but I am disappointed. The greenery looks very plastic-y and fake. It looks like something this buy at Walmart or the dollar store.”
