“I bought a Meaco DD8L desiccant dehumidifer 15months ago for my boat. It was completely reliable and worked so well that I have bought another for my cellar. The controls are easy and the humidistat works well. The one on the boat is left all winter draining into the sink with no problems and the heat it produces is useful for frost protection. The one in the cellar needs emptying every 2-4 days (less when it is very cold as any air influx is drier).”

“Bought an Eco Air DD128 8 litre desiccant dehumidifier. Arrived quickly and works fine. Unfortunately it was advertised as coming with a "free Weather Station" This didn't turn up and despite attempts to find out why my emails are ignored. So if you just want the dehumidifier then fine but don't be enticed in by "free" offers. Just makes me wonder that if something did go wrong with the dehumidifier what their response or lack of it might be”

Hi, I am glad to hear that the delivery was on time and I assume that the unit is working well for you. We had an unexpected delay in the replacement stock of the weather stations arriving in which led to a 2 week build up of orders that needed weather stations sending on. This has never happened before and it was managed as best as it possibly could be. It actually turned out to be a much bigger 'manual' task than anyone anticipated due high demand during this two week period. I am sure that the member of staff you spoke to would have given you an accurate reflection of the situation at the time of the call. We have a healthy level of stock of the weather stations now and never be in this situation again. Please can you provide your order number and I will make sure that a weather station has been sent. “Great item, it is amazing how much dampness there is in side the house, I am completely shocked when it comes to time to empty the collection container, time after time, the good thing is it let's you know when it is full. I would definitely recommend this clever little machine.it has definitely made a huge difference to the feel and problems with the issues I was experiencing. Ron Griffiths.”

“We have suffered for a long time with condensation and used the cheap throw away pots that helped but not a lot. But a great deal of condensation on the floor in the conservatory meant we needed to do something better. Found this company on the net and phoned for advice on the Sunday. Answered in a couple of rings and the advice we received could not have been better. All condensation throughout the house migrates to the coldest area, in our case the conservatory, but I guess that is going to be quite common. Two days later we had our MEACO DD8L in place and we have been taking up 2 litres every day since. It is quiet and fairly small, and does not look out of place , but I suppose that depends on where you put it. Do not know what the electric bill will be but the price is worth it because it has solved what was for us a big problem.”

Hi, thank you for the feedback. I will be investigating the delay personally, it is important to us to identify any issues that we are having with couriers. We currently use DPD who have been voted the best courier in the UK 2014 and 2015. They successfully delivery hundreds of dehumidifiers per week for us and problems are very rare. Kind Regards.

“I live in a very old house and I need a powerful and efficient dehumidifier to keep on top of persistent dampness. Over the last 20 or so years i have bought and worn out 4 or 5 domestic units and so you could say i know a little about dehumidifiers and old houses. I purchased a very basic commercial dehumidifier from Dehumidifiersuk some 3 or 4 months ago. Yes, it cost me fair bit more than I might have paid for another domestic units, but having stumped up all that hard earned cash I now have a dehumidifier that's fit for keeping my dampness at bay. And it's doing its job very nicely -- better than my previous units. (I hope when i write again in a year or so time i have the same story to tell.) The Delivery Service was first class. I was kept informed of delivery dates and time and when it arrive it a well packaged. I would be happy to recommend Dehumidifiersuk to anyone who has an old house/ persistent dampness issue to deal with. It might not be the worlds most elegant dehumidifier but it sure does what you want it to do.”
