I ordered something 3 weeks ago and still has Not arrived. Customer service is a joke 30 minutes queuing to be told that no record of the call I made the week before and the order had not been moved on. Distater 3 weeks waiting and shops showing now out of stock terrible will never order here again

DO NOT BUY ONLINE IF YOU NEED YOUR ITEM THIS YEAR. Worst service ever. Ordered a coffee machine for my friend's birthday online. It should have arrived by this TUESDAY at the latest.. Its now Friday. The order hasn't progressed since placed at all but I've of course been charged. I've tried calling several times and get cut off after holding at length. I then selected their leave a message for a call back option where they promise a reply within 24 hrs...no call. I've now sent 7 service request emails via their request form and they keep marking the issue as resolved without replying or progressing my order. The item hasn't even reached the picked stage. Facebook is full of similar complaints. The Trading Standards Board should look into this and I will be notifying them of my experience. I'll be adding my order regret to the list of others on FB and twitter tomorrow. What an embarrassing lack of "service". This is starting to feel like a scam @DID.

The worst and unprofessional and dishonest service I had seen . Bought full appliances for almost 4000 euros from there , scheduled delivery then no sign of delivery and not even any contact from them , kept calling Blanchardstown DID and manager answered and said sorry expect to have it delivered tomorrow and that he will follow up . No sign of delivery again and they Don’t pick up the phone. Completly unprofessional and dishonest. Easy to take your money but can’t deliver . That’s to add they lied about having the oven in stock when it wasn’t ( sorry it’s a system mistake - that’s what I got ). They need to be exposed in press - thinking about that now !

Absolutely DISGUSTING, I bought a TV went to the website and scheduled the delivery for Friday, it got confirmed to Saturday and still on Saturday it didn't show up, no heads up no update, i went to the chat online and no explanation why( just that had been a mistake). Remembering that this is a 25 euro delivery, when about any shop anywhere it is free. Expect to be treated like a fool by them.

Absolutely dreadful customer service from manager of DID Blanchardstown. A customer for 40 years. Purchased a TV for 700 euro in Jan 2021. Has.sound issues from early on. Again now and am expected to go the process of sending it back for repair again..weeks without TV. I did not hand over 700 euro to DID to have to go through this kind of treatment. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

My advice to anybody thinking of buying goods online with this company is to Avoid them, there are far more reliable and professional suppliers out there with comparable prices and proper customer support.

I purchased a Lenovo laptop from DID in Finglas. The microphone stopped working whilst still under guarantee so I returned it to be repaired. When it was returned to me, all my data and information had been totally wiped. This was an unnecessary action to repair a microphone issue, so I had not backed anything up. I received absolutely no warning that wiping my data was even a remote possibility. This is contrary to DID policy, which states should it be necessary to wipe data, you will be advised and asked to give consent. Furthermore, the laptop was returned with stress cracks in various locations on the keyboard. Having researched it, this seems to be a recurring problem with Lenovo products. Basically, if I open the lid, the plastic pulls in 2 different directions and the cracks worsen. I brought this to the attention of DID in December 2020 but only got a final answer today. The store manager I dealt with was very polite and helpful. But basically the decision lies with the Customer Service Manager. She has decided absolutely nothing will be done to address either issues of wiping my data without warning and consent or the fact that I cannot even open the lid of this laptop without the case cracking. I have been left with no data and a laptop that must sit open, in a stationary position as the mere action of opening the lid causes more damage. I have asked that the Customer Service Manager, who has never even seen this laptop contact me but I have been told that will not happen. I have lost all my data and am left with an unusable product.

I ordered laptop nearly 3 weeks ago. Paid few hundreds and nothing yet. Contacted customer service and they couldn’t answer themselves what’s gone wrong. They didn’t even know if the item had left the shop after 3 weeks. So disappoint, especially cause this laptop was for my daughter to access home schooling now. Waiting their call back with explanations but do t have much hope. I think at this stage I just want my money back.

Ordered item 1st dec with delivery day 17th. No show. After three 45 min waits for telephone assistance, and numerous automated emails with no real information contained, I was assured delivery on the 22nd. No show. I just opened an online PayPal dispute to get my refund as I wouldn’t even trust them to do that right.

Been waiting on order for over a month. Despite numerous emails and calling and leaving messages for ‘guaranteed call back within 24 hours’ I have got no response in 15 days. Appalling customer service.

I bought an electric kettle, waited five days, came damaged. Phoned and waited 17 minutes on phone, spoke to someone from Eastern europe extremely hard to understand , arranged to get it picked up and credit my account. Waited a week, no sign of pick up or credit. Phoned again and waited for 28 minutes on phone, Phone answered by a woman from China and could not speak a word of English, Had to hang up. phoned again, waited 12 minutes for an english speaking woman to answer, Said they will send someone out in two days. Will see what happens, The bottom line is to stay a million miles away from this company, I have come across bad companies but this is the worst..!!!!!!!!!!!! STAY,,,,,,,,A,,,,,,,,,,,,WAY

Bought hob which stopped working after 3 months. Manufacturer warranty said unrepairable. and gave uplift for replacement in store. I agreed to buy a more expensive hob . The young sales rep was so helpful explaining about the different types of hob. The salesman at the till was so arrogant I explained that I would be 2 weeks without any means of cooking , he never acknowledged that this had been extremely difficult nor did he offer apology and when I pointed out that I incurred additional expense due to a faulty product all he said was that's why you have a warranty. Having stated that he remembered my name when I bought the hob , he then questioned the validity of the information given to me by the manufacturer . When I asked was he going to do anything to help me due to the inconvenience he said no. Absolutely no customer service there I would advise anyone buy elsewhere .

I purchased a fridge over 6 weeks ago and I am still waiting on it. I understand there may be delays but to not respond to numerous requests for even an estimate of a delivery date is really bad customer service.

Ordered and paid for a phone online. No sign of the phone being sent. Contacted customer service after a week to be told the phone was out of stock and their supplier had let them down. No one bothered to inform me until I made contact. Terrible customer service!!

Appalling service from DID Stillorgan. White item not delivered first time despite assurance. Second time, wrong item brought to home. Third time no one turned up despite reassurances. 3 days wasted waiting and now no expectations of 4th. Awful. Poor communication. Time off work as essential worker.

after month of waiting for a microwave, having the worst support communication, you delivered the wrong one, while I order a Combi, 28L with value of €179.99,; you delivered today a Solo, 23L with value of €120.00. After couple of months of waiting this is unacceptable. Please can someone call me and clarify this asap. Order: 100300188

I ordered a dishwasher, the order date was delayed twice, when it was finally delivered it was faulty and now I'm waiting for the machine to be returned. Again they keep giving me a pick up date but nobody turns up to pick up the faulty machine and replace it with the new machine. DID have not responded to any of my emails, voice messages and wont return any of my calls. I strongly advise anyone to stay away from DID. They are horrendus to deal with!!
