I must admit I get mixed up between Domestic and General and the actual manufacturer of my washing machine, because I think you have to contact the manufacturer directly to book a D&G visit. perhaps this process can be ironed out because it's so confusing. I am disappointed by the fact that these days, you cannot seem to contact D&G directly via phone. However, the booking process and communication was simple and I had the machine fixed within a few days. I am very happy with the engineer service, he was excellent. I will recommend Domestic and General.

The tumble dryer is now working fine the engineer was polite & helpful informing us on what has happened to cause the failure with our machine. The engineer had all the spares needed & completed the repair in less than two hours great service & pleasant engineer.

Never had a problem,always quick at responding to your repair and if there's a problem and it can't be repaired quick and officiant to replace

Replaced the faulty tumble drier promptly with no hassles. Slightly disappointed that the delivery men didn't offer to take the packaging away.

Came to bathroom sink blockage left top off the plug which I could not get back on myself so could not use sink, got someone to fix for me.

My samsung American fridge freezer had a few issues and I had quite a few visits from an engineer....eventually it was condemned. D and G got a company to call me the same day and I was able to choose a new American fridge freezer from all manufacturers. I had a choice of about 20 , we chose an LG. No problems with delivery, no issues.....I would recommend.

Took insurance for repairs etc., for Indesit washing machine approx 2 years ago,but this year,when ringing company to ask for engineer to call,unable to get a human voice,just message to report "online"!!!! Although I use a tablet for e_mails etc., I Was incandescent with anger/frustration as iam technophobic @ 79 years old,and,FORTUNATELY,I have a brilliant son in law,who came to the rescue,sorted an appointment for next day,(between 7..00am-1.00pm)and a very nice engineer arrived 9.10am,and fixed machine..which I was very happy with efficient service,but how does a person,elderly with No-one to help,get service with no Internet?????thankyou.

Very responsive, pushing Siemens to deal with the problems. Very quick to respond post the write off to offer a replacement like for like. Marks Electrical delivered within 2 days. Unfortunately the replacement unit was delivered damaged, however Marks we’re back the next day with a new unit, this time in good working order 😃
