They took 3 weeks to repair microwave when only light bulb was needed to be replaced.

Persistent calls final salesman managed to get talk to me sensibly without snapping and shouting. No listening was another problem

When my Microwave broke down I tried to book an engineer visit online however I was advised to contact Domestic & General as they didn't have engineers available in my area, I contacted customer service twice to request an engineer visit, D&G decided to replace my Microwave free of charge as the cost of repair exceeds the cost of replacement. Happy with the service received from D&G.

My recent experience was very satisfactory , I had a fault with my freezer so i had to arrange an engineer visit . To my surprise the website allowed me to do this myself without talking to an agent . At first I am dubious as to whether all this AI stuff works efficiently, anyway I booked the appointment and time and relieved notification that all had been accepted . Before the appointment date I again relieved notification of the appointment . On the day of the appointment I relieved a message advising me the name and time of arrival of the engineer . The engineer arrived on time and was able to repair the freezer on the first visit . So all I all a very satisfactory from start to finish appointment .

Eng said there was a coin in machine which he cleared l thought it was now fully functional next day put machine on clothes were wringing wet put it in a Bcycke to spin only for it to go on full cycle with same result at end wringing wet clothes

The waiting time to get an engineer out is poor only 2 stars but the engineer was very helpful and eventually my oven was replaced, once my oven had been condemned after many repairs, it was a very efficient service getting it replaced with a selection of like for like cookers

I just moved to a new home a month ago and the appliances were already in the house. I am looking forward to a long duration of them as previous brands in my old home did not lasted or performed as expected or parallel to the price paid. I can't just yet give Domestic and General a fair review, but so far so good 😊

Our Hotpoint washing machine failed to get past a certain point in the programme. We phoned in and had to wait seceral days for an appointment. The engneer arrived an quickly solved the problem: the machine was rocking slightly which prevented it from spainning. The engineer was very helpful and polite. I feel that the problem could have been resolved more quickly by a phone conversation.

The tumble dryer repair went really well  and we were very happy, and the engineer was great, ufortunately the tumble has just developed a screeching noise which  requires repair. I presume this won't be sufficient to get and engineer back out. I will raise another call and will be happy to review afterwards. We have always been very satisfied with D&G service in the past.

Your engineer was excellent and, of course, I am pleased that you were able to fix my machine within 10 days and with no point-of-contact payment. However - your appointment-booking system is appalling. It appeared to be impossible to tell you that I would not accept an appointment before 7:30am or after 8pm

Too expensive for what it is. Couldn’t understand why an engineer had to call, when I had explained which part was needed to repair my cooker. After his visit the part was posted to me - which is fine - but wasn’t his visit a waste of time (his and mine).

generally the service is good .i was lucky and had to push for a quicker date the normal procedure from seeing a engineer and getting a new appliance is a long winded procedure . normally you would have to wait at least 5 working days . when your using a washing machine daily and have to wait a week its too long . but i was lucky the support from staff on the phone managed to get a REPLACMENT in 2 days AFTER ENGINEER . THE ENGINEER WAS MESSY WHO FIRST CAME AND DID NOT TIDY UP, LEAVING THE FLOOR IN a great deal of MESS and dangerous ESPECIALLY NOT APPROPRIATE I AM DISABLED.
