I haven't had a problem with a delivery from an Amazon order for nearly 20 years... and then Amazon start using DPD! I placed several orders this week and out of 6 parcels due to arrive, 2 came with an Amazon driver - left in our front porch, 1 came with Evri - left in our front porch, 1 came with the Royal Mail - left in our front porch, but unfortunately 2 came with DPD - card left in our front porch to say they couldn't deliver them, with one parcel being left at a local shop which closes before I finish work during the week and is also closed at weekends, and the other parcel being taken to their depot 20 miles away. When I called to ask why the driver didn't just leave the parcels I hit a brick wall. I mean, he opened the porch door and went inside the front of the property to leave a card! It beggars belief. Their customer skirmishes department refused to take any responsibility and stated that company policy was to only attempt delivery once, after which time it's the recipient's problem to track down and collect the parcel from wherever the driver has decided to take it. They claimed that it was my fault that the driver didn't leave the parcel, because I hadn't bothered to set up an account on the DPD website and detail my preferred delivery options there. As recipient it's not like you even know which courier will bring your parcel from Amazon - they make that choice. You only become aware who the courier is when the delivery is made. I pointed this out to their overtly rude operator who just told me they weren't going to argue, that it was my problem and promptly hung up on me. I reported their terrible service to Amazon customer support who were their usual helpful selves. They refunded me for the order without question and said they would arrange for DPD to return the parcels to them for restocking. I explained that I'm now reticent to order anything from Amazon in the off-chance it is sent with DPD and that their association with such an awful courier will have a negative impact on their business in the longer term if this is standard practice for DPD. I was assured my concerns would be reported through the correct channels at Amazon and fingers crossed somebody in an executive position will reconsider their contract with this terrible courier company.

I just had a parcel delivered to a safe place but it was not even left there. Dpd delivery people are not honest please companies don't use these people please save your customers please

In both a business & personal experience DPD are ooor, unreliable and liars. If you are a company using DPD to send items, stop otherwise they will drag your reputation down to the point your customers will go elsewhere

Useless. Said I was out, not true, so now being forced to collect next day from shop over a mile away. Clear driver was never on road.

Claim they can't find my address. I live in a cul-de-sac. Asked me to contact Amazon with more address details, who have confirmed there are full address details with the parcel. Also sent me a confirmation notice that they couldn't deliver for 30 minutes in the future. Interesting.

Very poor. My item was meant to be delivered 16th, never came. Had a message to say now 17th between 12pm to 1pm. Got home on lunch break and a message from DPD stating driver of DPD Marius sorry I missed you and unable to deliver. I gave MY OPTION YESTERDAY to leave on the PORCH! BUT for good measure I went home during this time. No attempt was made ny Marius and no card either. I have cctv at my property of 4 cameras and no one came this time. It's because it was a heavy item the driver didn't want to walk to my house and just pretend I was not in and left. EVEN IF I was not I'm I submitted my preferred option was leave it at my porch, why didn't he leave there..... very upset and now I'm waiting for Monday which was meant to be a gift to someone special. Total not acceptable and I will be writing a complaint about this driver falsifying that he tried to deliver

Deliver to a wrong address 1 hour late, do not bother to call, then told they will try to deliver again after a further 2 days.

Twice now been given a day and time for next day delivery. Booked a day off work and driver did not show up. Instead, update on the website that the driver missed us. Waste of time!

Zero stars. Complete idiots. Go to the wrong address and then send you a message saying you weren't there. Customer service don't speak English. Time wasters of the highest order...possibly criminal,...certainly retarded.

Drivers are lazy and very rude and lie about delivering items. Dpd customer service is pointless only allowing options for redelivery which dont arrive!

Firthst DPD lost the parcels then on second shipping delivered 4/5 and reported 5/5 - which is causing a lot of trouble on refunds!! Customer service worse than useless - either badly trained or deliberately trained to exasperate their customers (since they hung up on me TWICE I believe the latter to be true!)

DPD has got to be by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They fob you off every time you try to contact. Give you as little information as they possibly can. Not to mention only deliver your parcel when they can actually be bothered. Awful company ran by a bunch of idiots. Place needs closing down.

The package was supposed to be delivered on a Wednesday, however the driver attempted delivery at the wrong address, I know this because the picture he attached to the failed delivery was not my house. I called DPD customer service and they told me they would attempt to deliver it again that day before 8 pm, but it did not arrive. I was told it will be delivered the next day. I saw the delivery driver approach my door. He scanned the label from his pocket, took a picture of the front of my house, and started walking off. I managed to stop him, he told me that he hadn't been given my parcel as the depot could not find it and they told him to take the label, scan it, take a picture of my house and record it as an attempted delivery so they can at least be paid for the attempted delivery. I spoke to DPD over the phone again and they spoke to the depot and informed them they could not find my package that morning. This is very disrespectful, If they had lost my package they should have informed me and not made false attempts at delivery just so they can get paid. After theyve been caught out the cancelled my delivery and somehow magically found the package to send back to the sender. I think they just scanned a return label and faking a return which will magically get lost so that they dont get caught. Does anyone know where i can make a formal complaint?

Truly one of the most incompetent couriers in Greece (and that speaks volumes). Unable to find the most simple delivery address, lazy and simply awful customer service. Having made hundreds of orders from Amazon and then delivered through the many terrible Greek couriers this company is in the top three worst couriers you will ever experience. You have been warned.

Why a joke. If I could give it minus 10000 I would of done. The driver went to a completely different address even when using my post code. Took picture of the address he went too LOL. I called customer services and he spoken to the driver which said he went to the wrong address and will deliver before 5pm which is when his shift is over, also the guy who I spoke to over thr phone said that he will keep track off it and keep me updated. Will nothing happend. Ots now 6:08pm and no parcel, no communication from customer service which is an absolute joke. Went to call them back and it said that my parcel will be delivered thr next day. Seriously now. I will name and shame this company all over social media which I am very good at, as this has to be the worse delivery company I've come across. A joke is a nice way of saying it.
