Driver delivered to the wrong address and when went to collect within two minutes of him saying it was delivered the parcel had gone. Terrible service and even worse customer service. Woman on the phone rude and didn’t want to know. Awful delivery company!

We got a message yesterday to say they had tried to collect but parcel was too big/heavy. They didn't even come to the house.

lazy dishonest drivers, opaque customer contact system, fake customer complaint chater. i wouldn't trust DPD with a takeaway flyer much less a parcel

Received a text from DPD saying: Sorry we missed you. Your driver won't be back today. Delivery will be on Monday (today is Friday). The problem is the driver did NOT try to deliver today. At the allotted time I was waiting at the front window watching for the van to arrive. It did not arrive. 3 of us were and still are at home and the doorbell is working. We live in a regular street, with our door number clearly displayed. I went on to DPDs live chat to raise my complaint. They assured me this would be escalated immediately and that the depot manager would call me within 60 minutes regarding still trying to get the delivery to me today. No one called me. The parcel did not arrive. Had the driver not implied he'd tried to deliver to me, but instead had said 'Sorry, running late, couldn't make it to you today' that would have been far more acceptable and understandable. So, all in all a very bad experience regarding delivery not turning up, false reason being given for this, live chat being a waste of time, Depot manager not calling when I was told they would, and failure to then get the later delivery to me. DPD you need to do MUCH, much better than this excuse of a service.

If no stars were available I would have selected this. On 29/02/2024 my parcel was delivered to the wrong address. Despite showing the correct house number, correct street name and town I made a slight error on the postcode. The GPD inexcusably delivered my parcel to an address that beard no resemblance to my address. I have a GPD App with all my contact details. When driver sent to the wrong address why didn't someone contact me to query The chat room on their GPD App is useless. GPD took no responsibility or accountability for their drivers actions. No apology they merely told me to refer the matter to the sender.

DPD kept me informed of my delivery, they gave me a time and sure enough my parcel came on time, the driver was very polite and friendly, cannot fault the service I got today.

WORST SERVICES EVER!!! FRAUDULENT ! They deliver (or not ) parcels to random address and put up fake photos and signs. Absolute nightmares !!

We ordered some electrical equipment. Tuesday morning dpd informed us it would be delivered that day. As nobody was home, we requested items to be left at a safe place. They wer not. Instead we were informed they try to deliver next day. As I was home all day waiting for courier imagine my astonishment on hearing that there was nobody home and the package was on it's way to the depot. I contacted live chat immediately they checjed the address and promised to deliver next day. Today we were waiting for the package and also for another one to be delivered by dpd. Another package came as planned but the other courier did not deliver because... there was nobody home. Shame on you lying cheaters.

Totally garbage service, waited in all day for a parcel, never went out only to receive a message, tried to deliver but no answer they said , rubbish waited in all day, told me to pick parcel up tomorrow???? Cowboy service

Zero stars. Delivery driver did not ring doorbell, but placed a card in communal entrance stating a failed delivery. Minutes later an email from DPD stated that I was not at home ( I was) and as such, my parcel would be ready for collection the next day at a newsagents located miles from my home! I do not drive and there is no public transport to location. I contacted DPD and explained that the location is in an unsafe area, furthermore, there is no public transport, however they stated that I had no other option. Fortunately the sender has recalled the parcel and will arrange for Royal Mail to deliver. DPD are the worst delivery service.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I used DPD to return x2 toilets worth £279 & paid over £28 for delivery. When booking the delivery, I labelled the items as TOILET PANS. They were packaged in their original packaging (unopened from Victorian plumbing), with fragile tape. The boxes displayed multiple large pictures of toilets on each box, with big letters METRO PAN along with the toilet dimensions, so the contents of the boxes were VERY clear. The receiver sent me pictures of the state of both of the boxes, dirty, ripped & crushed externally, and inside, the toilets were smashed to smithereens. At least 50 pieces each. I raised a claim & was told via an automated message that there is nothing they can do as they were prohibited items. However, at no point in the buying process was I directed to prohibited items. Why accept the contract if they are prohibited?! ZERO care was taken with the parcels. Trying to get hold of DPD is nigh impossible - chat fails, automated phone number takes you to the depot and round in circles, then get through to B2B which isn't the right dept, whatsapp doesn't handle these queries, customer service is useless & won't put you through to claims, no emails work... So I've lost hundreds of pounds. Will NEVER use DPD again. JOKE of a company. AVOID.

I have ordered from companies that use DPD a number of times. I will NEVER do it again. Each time i have done this it has never gone smooth. If you are lucky they will leave it outside the main door on the block of flats, which in itself is not ideal, but today i received a message to say he tried to deliver but i was not home and he is not in area again today. I am home, the buzzer did not go, it is not hard to buzz my flat to be let in!!! Appaling service! So any companies that may visit this site, i would think very carefully about the courier service you use because you will end up losing customers. Rant over.

no card, no message , I ran and no parcel 🤬😡 I took an hour off from work to receive the parcel and the tacker showed they are 15 mins away, literally went to put mu cup in the kitchen , someone banged the front door metal postal thing and drove off , no card, no message , I ran and no parcel received. SO dear company either you fire this sort of drivers or close your business if they act like thugs, Definitely its not gonna help you in long run by upsetting massively people waiting for delivery, the driver in the app was named as Joseph (Portsmouth)could be a fake name. ID***TS

Stupid people. All of them!!!! I am actually raging! Driver Yadwinder never turned up and their customer service cannot do anything either. I paid extortionate amount for next day delivery only to not get it. I am furious and this is not the first time. Businesses needs to stop using these idiots

DPD are by far the worst delivery company I have ever had to deal with. The App is absolutely pointless as it is not updated and does not display live data, the chat facility is via a bot that cannot understand anything, you can never speak to a human. Eventually you may get through to a human if you ring, but they don’t know anything and lie about when your delivery will happen. Absolute joke of a company with very poor customer service. Avoid if you can!!

Absolutely horrendous company! Deliver £980 iPhone to lock box! Never arrived then I have tried in vain to sort this out and then I get a notification that it will be delivered Friday. Where to I have no idea! Signed by someone I have know idea who this person is and when I ring them with the drop off address they say that doesn’t match the delivery address!! Apple have been so bad as well dealing with this! Delivery supposed Tuesday to a lock box and now it’s Saturday and no information!!
