“Wouldn't even give one star, just because i don't live on a main road and driver has to walk a few metres, they never deliver, one delivery attempt and my parcel is on its way back to the the originator. Our local DPD driver needs sacking he is just down right lazy.”

“Awful service. I was expecting a parcel and received text telling me of approximate delivery time. There was no delivery. The next day, the same thing happened. I phoned the company and asked for a callback as they were busy. No callback. I wouldn’t use them if I had the choice.”

“Although there is no photographic evidence, DPD insist they have delivered my parcel. They haven’t. I firmly believe it has been stolen by the driver. They will not, because they cannot provide any evidence to say it has. Disgusting service.”

“Terrible and unreliable service. Driver claimed to have tried to deliver but lied. I have been sitting in waiting then fet a message that he tried to deliver but couldn't. Absolute bull. Don't use them.”

“Driver never showed up. Tried their chat and they said that driver said "items were not ready for collection". Because I knew it was a lie (I have CCTV to prove they actually never showed up) then they said maybe the got the wrong address. When they realized they had the right address they just offered to rearrange which is not good enough. I asked to be delivered next day using their guaranteed service but they refused. Really poor customer service, I will never use them again.”

“I have ordered a number of items from Amazon over the past week to be delivered by DPD to my new address in Llandissilio, the property is a new build on a road with established houses. Not once have DPD actually delivered anything, the only time I received a parcel was when I intercepted the DPD driver on the main road. I keep getting messages saying "Sorry we missed you" with pictures of a random house, a road and someones doorstep where the goods were misdelivered. They did'nt "miss" me they just didn't bother to find me! I have provided very comprehensive details on Amazon how to find us including WhatThreeWords address, I have also provide a picture of my property on the DPD site. This is very unprofessional behaviour on the part of DPD drivers. UPS, DX Freight, Yodel, and Royal Mail have all managed to find us. I have reported this behaviour to Amazon and will now be using other suppliers where I can guarantee the goods will be delivered by a competent delivery service.”

“Wasn't in so told the parcel at the post office for one week. Went to the post office next day only to be told DPD had collected my parcel to return to the depot. What a waste of time. Will I ever get the parcel? Useless!!”

“Never use them, they don't care. No customer service, no way to contact them. Drivers lying about attempted deliveries. Can't understand why sellers keep using this pathetic company for deliveries to their customers, they're masochists probably.”

“Absolutely awful again. Sat by my front door waiting for my delivery. No one comes. On my text up pops "sorry we missed you". This has happened so many times now. Impossible to complain or contact anyone by the website. Why do companies continue to use this shockingly awful company?”

“The parcel was wrapped with tapes that read "RESEALED BY DPD". Several items in the parcel were missing. Made a complaint they promised they'll comeback after the investigation. No reply for week. Called again another person attended and got the details, No replies. Seems thieves are working there”

“Apparently DPD’s delivery service process comprises of the following: • 1 single attempt at delivery and then the customer gets sent a message that their order has been deposited in a depot many miles from the customer’s home • It’s now the customers responsibility to travel, track down and lug the items back to their home address. • But in my case the delivery driver did not even bother with the courtesy of one delivery attempt – clearly it was far easier for the driver to just not to deliver at all and send the customer a text message falsely stating that delivery had been attempted and that now you, the customer, are forced into travelling to pick up and collect your ‘home delivery’ of rather weighty paint orders. I cannot see how DPD will survive very long with this business model for a delivery service; or the companies who choose to use DPD. DPD is an absolute failure as a delivery company”

“I was in. Nobody rang my bell. I had even left instructions incase I had to go out. All I received was a message to say that I have to collect my parcel from a post office. Considering I am disabled it is really inconvenient. I would definitely not recommend this company”
