Yet again no delivery after waiting all day. Driver running late and then drives past the end of our road back to chelmsford depot. They employ cheap labour who will not stay late if running behind. Next day delivery is a joke with them. Now they say my parcels are going to Argos in Chelmsford. I am in Sudbury. DPD has so gone down hill.

2 days I've been promised a delivery 3rd time lucky I won't hold my breath They don't want to talk to you either.

AVOID AVOID ABSOLUTELY USELESS. If you enjoy sitting at home waiting for a delivery that will never arrive please use this company otherwise avoid at all cost. 1st delivery attempt -- Received a delivery time slot stayed home waiting for delivery received a picture of the house at the end of the road with a message " sorry you wasn't home and we missed you " will reschedule for delivery tomorrow, spoke to customer service to be told they had checked the drivers live tracking could see he never attended correct delivery address instructed him to reattend and to ring me with time slot, I continued to wait and wait until 6pm and nothing. 2nd delivery attempt -- The following day received a delivery time slot stayed home waiting for delivery received a picture message this time of a REAR GARDEN GATE from a house 5 doors away, with the same message as before sorry we missed you and you wasn't home! Who has a DOOR BELL on their REAR GARDEN GATE for guests/deliveries??how did the delivery driver even know what number property he was at?? Tried calling customer service and was closed being a Sunday afternoon. Checked online tracking on Monday to discover that my parcel had been returned to sender?!? Thought DPDs policy was after 2 failed delivery attempts they hold your parcel for a following 7 days for recipient to arrange another delivery date or collection for one of their collection points. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH AND USELESS

Another experience of poor service from DPD. What's the point of giving a delivery time when you won't deliver the parcel at all! In this instance apparently the driver got delayed and delayed again and then decides not to deliver the parcel at all. Then we get a message that the parcel was delivered at 7.45pm at an address that's not mine. I call and am told that's a wrong entry and I will get my parcel then next day. The following day there is no update on the app. I call again and am told I will get my parcel. I wait and again no show. Then later in the day the app states the parcel is on it's way back to the provider! Why would you do that? This has happened before too! Completely the worst service and I use Evri, Yodel, amazon etc who don't mess you around like dpd does. Date of experience: 13 September 2022

Three expected deliveries from DPD, all failed. The first, was left at a collection point 10 miles from home; DPD claimed no one was in. There was. Second delivery was tossed over our front gate when they were given clear instructions to leave at the front door (the gate is at the end of a 300m lane). The package got soaked. The most recent, I received an email confirming delivery when in actual fact there was no attempt at the delivery, and it was returned to the supplier. The supplier assumed I had returned the item, I hadn’t. We live in the countryside and never have a problem unless DPD is the courier. They are totally useless, and cannot fathom why companies use them. Very, very unprofessional. Avoid.

I was emailed to say my parcel would be delivered on a certain day, they said they would send a 1 hour delivery slot, that never came (you don't always get one so that's no surprise, the drivers just turn up when they feel like it). The parcel never arrived and I had to ring customer services to find out what happened. Only then did they inform me, at 8.30pm, via email, that my package would not be delivered that day. I had taken time off work, avoided going out anywhere and wasted a day because of these fools! When you complain you get the standard answer, you don't have a contract with us, get in touch with the seller. Until this changes we will never see an improvement with DP'D.

Avoid these cretins . The driver delivered to our door , took a photo and drove off. We was in. We rang the office to be told the driver would drop it at the end of his round after they told him to deliver it today. 7 '0' clock we received an emailike " we won't deliver today we will deliver Friday. " Why tell us you're going to deliver then do the. AVOID AVOID AVOID

The wors service ever 3 days passed and still my parecels not delivered and in the depot. THye just don't phone and don't care NEVER USE DPD UPS delivers without an issue. These guys are useless

Dreadful. Goods arrived damaged, with about 1 liter of liquid leaked out of the box. (it was 2 x 5 litres of stabilizing fluid for building work) Photographed on the door step in such a way to hide the damage done. I complained, and was told that it was not my position to complain, but the senders. can't email them, just wait on the phone for a long time. Rude youngster on the other end of the phone using my first name after asking, but not waiting for a reply! Told me he'd worked there for 3 years and he was right. This is all recorded I hope.

I stayed all day waiting for my delivery but no one came to deliver my order, but they said that no one was here to receive it. I even gave them my phone number. Very unreliable service DPD.

If the retailer could just drop kick your purchase out of a window you'd be more likely to get it. We've had at least half of our parcels fail delivery because driver said they'd missed us. We're certain they haven't even attempted delivery as we've been at home. Also had parcels delivered to wrong address - and this is to the wrong street. Haven't had issues like this with any other delivery company. I'd be embarrased to work for them. Avoid at all costs.

DPD man collected parcel on 26/08. Seemed incompetent. Clearly labelled to address in Holland. No parcel yet and no one to talk to, just a message saying do not know where it is try again in 30 minutes. What a shower.

Disgraceful 2nd delivery this week. No attempt to deliver just send emails saying left at pick up point. Ring customer service they are in Asia and don't do anything to help. After reading trustpilot reviews everyone said the same as me. No attempt to deliver just sent to pickup point for collection saying sorry they missed you. Absolute joke I'm disabled and can't collect it so now my cat without a carrier and I've got to wait over a week for it to be returned before I get a refund. Honestly the laziest deliver drivers I've ever come across and customer service are equally as bad. I will not buy off any sellers that use this company from now on.

Terrible company to deal with. They said they were going to deliver my parcel last week but apparently nobody was home to answer the door so was rescheduled for the following day. I checked the picture online and the delivery address they had tried was not even my front door!! I contacted them via live chat and it was rebooked for Monday and surprise surprise, nothing turned up and I have now checked online and apparently its now being sent back to the retailer that I bought it from!! I spent 20 mins holding on to speak to someone on their customer service line but after holding on for so long, was fed up so put the phone down and tried live chat again and was told they couldn't do anything and to contact the retailer. What is the point of rescheduling if they wont even bother to redeliver the item and what's the point of these shoddy cowboys even being in business??

Driver said he came to my house on the Wednesday to deliver and nobody was home, my whole family was there! Said they would deliver on Thursday again said nobody was home despite the fact we were all in the yard waiting for the parcel! I contacted dpd within 2 muns of getting message was lied to by the first person who said she would have driver deliver in 20 mins. But we also established that driver was no where near my location nor had he tried to deliver on the Thursday. Rang again at 6.15pm as delivery had not arrived and got a man this time who told me he could do nothing till 9am Friday morning. Rang at 9am Friday was told it was been delivered to my nearest dpd drop off which was 11 miles from me! Told them I had no way of picking it up that far away and was told they would see what they could do! Another lie! I rang again after 2 hours to be told by a different person that they could not take the parcel from dpd drop off and I would have to get it myself. I explained I had no way of getting it and was told to contact the company I purchased from and request them to resend the item!!!!! I said why so u lot can carry on the same way again!!!!!!!!! U requested a manager to contact me and was told they would within 2 hours. Rang again after 4 hours and no contact to be told manager had gone home! I again asked what they were doing about my delivery as they were the ones that messed up and I was told nothing they were going to do! Requested manager ring me the next day and its now Tuesday and nobody has bothered to ring me!!! This isnt the first time I have had issues with dpd. The drivers don't care, can't be bothered and don't really want the job all they want to do is drive around and use the excuse they are delivering if caught looking into peoples houses and yards! That is not a sweeping statement that is fact and know a yard where items were taken by a dpd driver, when dpd was contacted surprise surprise they did nothing. I will from now on only buy from companies that do not use dpd because they are a complete joke and their customer service does not exist!!!

They left my parcel in the main door of the building because someone open to them,took a picture and left.I was at work and they don’t allow to carry our phones,so I saw later a message that they came different day send me the picture write down a name that received the parcel which I don’t know and job done . I contacted with them and they said the gate was open so everything ok.Parcel that cost 159£ and was a gift!!! Good job guys and all this because second route cost you extra money!!

What… a ….. terrible……courier!!!!!! Avoid them Messed up collection, on hold all day man couldn’t understand me hung up, had to be connected to DPD local online.. rearranged collection, got customer to reprint label his end. They finally collected, delivered to wrong address told me I am lying on phone as gps coordinates. Didn’t recognise picture, turned out to be my neighbours back garden. Promised a phone call from local depot never got one so just as well it was with my neighbour. Useless

Delivery arranged for 12- 13, arranged for neighbor to take delivery as I had to go out. She waited all day, no parcel. Went on tracking it says parcel refused. No further info, where's my parcel now? No idea. I know it's a lie because I live in sheltered accommodation and you can't get in without anyone knowing.
