"I couldn\u2019t rent from Hertz, National, Alamo or any other more reputable brand of car rental company as all cars were rented. I called Easirent and told them my plane had been delayed and I wouldn\u2019t arrive before they closed at 10:00 PM at Palm Beach International Airport and would get the car the next day. I showed up at 11:00 the following day and was told they had no cars and couldn\u2019t find notes on my call the prior day. A second person working there looked at my reservation and found the note. They then found a car for me that had a huge dent in the trunk and scratches on side of car which they noted. I have never rented a car in this condition. \r\nAfter 8 days I was driving around with my wife shopping and the car electrical system completely shut down at a light at a busy intersection. \r\n\r\nI called Easirent and they said I needed to call Chevy service to get the car towed. I couldn\u2019t get through to a human at Chevy and called another towing firm instead. I had the car towed to Easirent and left it it there. I have called several times to speak to a manager and never get a call back. I will never rent from them again and am disputing the charge and asking for reimbursement of the tow. Terrible customer service and renting defective and unsafe cars. I should sue them."

"I would give zero stars if i could. Rude conmen. Did not have car i reserved and said too bad. Take this junker or nothing. Ten minutes out of lot says service due immedietely. Needs oil roght now. Called them and they said. Go change thr oil and we will pay you back. The two guys worming there were rude and horrible everyone in line was angry. I waited one hour for shuttle at doirpprt. I cant say snough awful stuff about this place. Dont rent here!!"

"DO NOT RENT HERE!! \r\n\r\nJust had an horrendous experience in Edinburgh. Hired a cheap easierent car online through carjet, with basic insurance (\u00a31500 excess). Had to wait in the cold for a shuttle bus- an hour later we were served at car rental depot. \r\n\r\nThen told we had 2 choices. \r\n\r\nPay a deposit of \u00a31500 and ANY damage would be taken off this as well as a \u00a375 admin fee. Ie. Small scratch not broken through paint would have cost \u00a395- see attached photo.\r\n\r\n or pay \u00a360 for full cover no need to worry about the deposit or ANY damage.\r\n\r\nThe small print says\u2026 a \u00a31500 deposit will be blocked on your credit card. What exactly does \u2018blocked\u2019 mean. It is unclear and misleading. Most insurance has an excess only payable if a claim is necessary. I feel totally miss sold. \r\n\r\nMy cheap \u00a330 -2 day rental cost me \u00a390. \r\n\r\nI will be taking this further."

"Emails didn't come through with links for payment despite several phone calls. They inexplicably changed my name on the reservation to a woman's name, then accused me of doing it. Prior to pick up they sent me to an empty car park on the other side of town, then admitted the wrong information was in my confirmation email. They also denied it was on the other side of town. But I live in the town, so I know it was, and needed a taxi to get there. Had to wait for someone when I reached the correct car park to get the keys. The car they gave me was dirty.\n\nEasirent 'resolved' my complaint after exactly 163 days and around 20 phone calls. No gesture of goodwill offered or any kind of compensation, beyond a refund for the taxi I was forced to take. They then immediately shut down the option of me replying via their online portal, to stop any further conversation. I tried to open a new conversation with them, and I attach a screenshot of the rude response I got. Appalling company."

"Do not use this company. Having been given what was a rather shoddy looking car, the clutch broke within 48 hours (after less than 4 hours driving), rendering the vehicle undrivable and nearly causing a fatal collision on a very busy A road.\n\nAfter being pushed onto the verge by the Police, I contacted customer service to organise recovery. Rather than empathy or concern, the customer services representative suggested that I was responsible for 'breaking the clutch'. I have nearly 30 years driving experience of manual cars and have never worn out a clutch.\n\nAfter promising recovery within 90 minutes, the breakdown services took more than three hours to arrive. I was told by the \"customer service\" representative on the phone that if I wanted a working replacement car I would have to be towed to Luton Airport (which is not where I rented the car from) and wait for a full diagnosis of the broken down car. Nine week later this has still not been done - I'd still be waiting in their Luton branch. \n\nThis 'offer' was not an option for me as I was on my way to pick up my terminally ill mother to take her to Wales for her last family holiday. So I had to ask a friend to drive from Norwich to pick me up and take me to London where, at further expense, I had to hire a car from another provider (SIXT - they are very good. Try them instead.)\n\nMore than eight weeks later and following dozens of emails, phone calls and online requests, Easirent has still not provided a report on the clutch or a full refund. On July 7th, the area manager David Hoffman promised me a report was forthcoming yet nothing has materialised.\n\nI have never ever written about a company on this before but I do not want anyone to give this shambles of a company any money or endure the awful experience that I have,\n\nDo not use them and please warn others."
