Avoid at any cost. 0 stars if could. Arrived to drop off the car at Luton airport, no one was there 7:30am. As they held my deposit of £1500 I did not want to leave it just sitting there without being inspected for damage first. I missed my flight for which they refused reimburse. Lengthy paperwork before you hire- most awful experience ever with a car rental. Pay more for a decent company car- this rental ended up the most expensive rental ever. Awful and scam prone company.

Just have to agree with all other bad comments, nothing changes here, yes the cars are cheap, too cheap in my opinion so they have no other alternative than to get some profit by fleecing you when you pick up the car. Read the terms and conditions carefully, take exactly what they say, make sure you have a credit card not debit card with at least 2K on it, video the car when you pick it up, make sure you include they sales guy as well just incase they say you took the video later, so any damages show, then video again on return, maybe you will come out on top, but these guys are professional fleecers so be careful.

What a joke. This would have to be the worst company I have every dealt with in my life. We arrived at the time stated and then waited 85 minutes before we got to speak with a rep. They were rude and had an attitude that showed they did not care. They did not have a vehicle we ordered, the one they gave us was empty of fuel and had not been cleaned. When we tried to raised these things with staff, they just shrugged and walked off. The drop off was even worst. They tried to charge me for 2 very small chips of paint on the door. These were less than 3 mm in size. Luckily I have gone over the car with a fine tooth comb and had photos to show they were there when I picked it up. I would never ever use this company and would tell everyone to run like hell from this company

Worst car rental experience ever. Had to wait more than 45 minutes in the cold to be picked up from the airport. After, when we got to the pick...they jusyt told us that even if I had already paid for a fully covered insurance with the broker I still need to buy another insurance from them...if not...they will keep 1800 eur deposit from my credit card. Basically...in the end we had to pay for two insurances as they were not accepting brokers insurance. Pretty big bullshit and scam. Will never use again and advise everybody I know not to ever use this lowsy car rental!!! It's just a big waste of money, patience, time and nervs!

Don't ever use... Upon picking up the vehicle I was told I was lucky and getting a brand new vehicle so there shouldn't be any problems with the car. When my friend and I started doing the inspection (which was made more difficult by them having just washed the car and not dried it), we found numerous stone chips. Upon returning the car, they tried to claim we had damaged the vehicle by pointing out a chip that was there on collection. Luckily we had checked. Now 22 days after dropping off the car I'm still waiting for my deposit to be returned. Easirent just don't bother to release it, it seems you have to wait for it to lapse which can take 28 - 32 days depending on your card provider.

Terrible experience. Had to keep calling for an airport pickup to their site. Then waited 45 minutes in a queue to be told it would be another £100 for a pre booked and paid car agreement as I didn't have printed bills for ID. Passport, driving license and credit cards would not suffice! Gave up and got the bus instead!! Waste of time, money and energy!!!

This company... Wow! Want to be ripped off... Easirent is the best place! I’ve used this company twice both times they seen me coming! Want something spacious to put your luggage in... book a 5 door golf and get a 2 door smart car! You can always attach your luggage to the roof of the car. Don’t forget that hefty deposit of 1795! Just incase you decide to run off with that smart car! Last but not least don’t forget to take everything about you including but not excluding flight details, utility bills, bank statements, credit card, pets names, previous car you drove, penalty points, what you had for lunch, kids names and the colour of your bedroom curtains! Best bet get yourself a bus pass! Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

What a joke of a company. Full of lies, took 45 mins to pick us up from airport, kept saying they were on way, didn’t have enough room for everyone when they arrived. really bad cars which looked like they had never been cleaned or cared for, scratched everywhere. warning light came on half way through trip. Luckily it made it back.

EASIRENT...... avoid like the plague, they are the worst rental company I have ever come across. On a recent visit to Glasgow I was misfortunate enough to rent a vehicle from these scamsters, the pick up from the airport was in a dirty minibus that smelled of the drivers odour, on arrival I found myself in a run down puddle ridden back street yard, the company office was dirty, the staff were rude pushy and slovenley dressed, I waited an hour to be processed, this involved ridicule at my cover insurance, and the salesman trying to force further insurance from me, I refused, the vehicle, not what I was expecting had dirty wheels and a dirty interior, the bodywork was scratch ridden and I spent 10 minutes pointing out scratches while the salesman made notes, I asked about the wheels as they were dirty and uninspectable, but he just waived they were ok, something that was to cost me £275.00 on return when they found a small scratch that must have been there weeks as it was corroded, they also took a credit card payment of £1200.50 from me plus £90.00 fuel cover, They know all returns are catching flights so they can enforce the rip off methods they practise, they are a disgrace and a amateurish outfit......... DO NOT USE EASIRENT, unless you want to be ripped off, they are an appalling organisation and should be investigated by the authorities immediately...

seriously avoid these fraudsters, I'm so embarrassed for them - they are a shoddy shoddy disgusting company who make their money from lying and defrauding - I'm so embarrassed for them. There should be a no star, 1 star implies I would wee on them if they were on fire - they are cheap yeah great but so is a £2 prostitute and unless you like getting frauded, robbed, running up your phone bill talking to imbeciles who use lines straight from the donald trump book of honesty, or easting your time, sanity and effort trying to get your deposit back.. I mean come on... are you seriously reading all the reviews online? Their own website says they rate higher than ANY other car company on trust pilot... go to their trust pilot ITS LIES, IT'S RIGHT THERE!!! Don't emabarrass yourself thinking you've got a good deal, you'll get frauded.

NEVER EVER use this company........THE WORSE COMPANY AND CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! I didn't even want to give one star but there was no option for a no star rating! I used the Dublin office.......absolutely appalling staff and service. I didn't actually get a rental car, but they still charged me the FULL amount. AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!

Southampton branch of Easirent would not allow collection of the car without paying excess insurance. My wife had standalone excess insurance, showed this to the rental desk, read out the statement on this insurance for just this situation, offered to put the excess on her credit card, but they just kept insisting. We know the system; never had this kind of bullying before.

Almost everything was wrong. Wait of well over an hour for the shuttle bus. The driver was then reckless, breaking speed limits and swerving, even with a baby in the car. Customer service staff were rude, £1,500 deposit required and effectively forced me into the £135 insurance for three days. Initial car was not what I ordered and was far too small. Eventual car had no fuel so had to be taken to be refueled before we left. Car was still messy from the last customers and several warning lights came on the dashboard whilst we were driving it. When dropping it off I parked outside and took everything out of the car before they asked me to drive it a few yards into the garage. They cited theft of cars as the primary reason for this policy. Absolutely horrendous company, would recommend avoiding in all cases. You'd be better off walking- wherever you're going.

Please avoid these people. Pretty much what everyone else has said previously. I scoured the internet for cheaper car hire on Friday as I just needed to do a little chasing around at weekend and didn't trust my old jalopy to do it. Big mistake choosing Easirent on Fountain street manchester. Seemed like a good deal online and then went to pick up the car on Saturday morning. Couldn't find the place to start with as they rent a tiny broom cupboard sized room in a larger office block. had to ring them to let me in as they weren't answering the door. I was asked by the chap at Easirent for a voucher that should have been sent to my e-mail address. I said that I wasn't sent a voucher but the guy insisted I had. I then said that I didn't have a credit card which apparently is in the T's and C's. 'Ok' I said I'll take that one on the chin. 'What shall I do then' I asked. The 'Gentleman thief' said that I could pay £3.60 for a credit check and then a NON RETURNABLE deposit of £90. 'What for' i asked. The thief then said that it was an insurance fee which, because I didn't have a credit card I would have to pay. I asked to speak to customer service and spoke with another scam artist called Peter. I asked where in the T's and C's does it mention the £90. He wasn't able to tell me because it's not in the T's and C's. I told them there and then what a con the whole thing was and tried to warn another two customers who were about to be ripped off but they must have been as desperate as me for cheaper car rental or they were mad. I even heard the guy on the desk ask another victim where he was going and when the poor guy said the lake district the Easirent guy sucked up and said he would need a 4 wheeled drive and upgraded him at an extra cost of course. I suggested he didn't need to drive up the hillside off road but the customer was Chinese and didn't get the joke. Anyhow, story over and the bottom line is I went away 34 quid lighter but on reading the other reviews it could have cost me a lot more. I urge you all to avoid this rip off crew and just finally I will seeking legal advice on how to claim my initial cost back from these thieves.

The booking instructions told me to go to the drop off area at Birmingham Airport so I went there from the train station only to be told to go back to the train station where I would be met and taken to the office. After 45 minutes and 3 phone calls I was finally collected and taken to the office where I was asked for a deposit of £1500!! I could have done this with a debit card, but they insisted on a credit card which I couldn't do so they refused to let me have the car I booked and left me stranded at their office. I should point out that two other people had similar issues while I was there and were also unable to rent the car they had booked. They may be cheaper than other companies but there's a reason for that. My advice would be to steer well clear.

Worst experience ever at their Luton airport branch. Their staff is not willing to discuss your queries and when you carry on asking them why this and why that they just decide to cancel your reservation In the middle of the night, when your £1500 deposit is blocked and you have no money to get another car. Very very rude attitude. Left me on the street at 1am with no car and no money for another Deposit or car.

Really you should avoid this company and please dont pay attention on law price they provide in internet - on reality they start cheating you immediately - first with insurance .I was forced to pay insurance on the price equal to the rent for 4 days .After that they have changed the car i reserved in advance. No one cares about customers. The Somali guy on the front desk is just helpless - everything is funny in this company and unacceptable - just pure example haw not to to make normal business. Avoid

Car not available at time booked for (2 hours waiting), car allotted badly scratched, bumped and poor condition, pressure from team to cancel insurance booked to replace with theirs, scare tactics about £1500 excess payment taking 28 days to be refunded, told to ignore warning light showing on dashboard, car broke down and had to call RAC, tyre pressure not correct and dash warnings faulty, unable to get any response from their 24 hour helpline .... shall I continue?
