Use their service a few weeks ago and had lot of issues ranging from customer service to over charging. Very poorly trained staff especially at Birmingham Air Port branch. I was forced to buy extra cover which I had already. Also vehicle was given very late as the one I booked was not there so had to wait almost 6 hours for the vehicle and even then was offered a different spec car. I am regretting my decision to use them. PLEASE AVOID.

Bad customer service, accused of wanting to steal the car, suspicious about my proof of address as I supplied statements via my phone and wouldn’t let me pay deposit down as I don’t have a credit card. Really negative tone from staff member on the desk- hate to think these are the people who greet our tourists on arrival into the country. Avoid at all costs!

We went to pick up the car in Dublin, which was to be ready at 12:00 noon. They said maybe one would be in by 4:00 and they had no cars. We rented it with insurance and all expenses included. Then they said it would be 1800 E for a deposit put on the card. I asked if it would all be refunded and the answer was mmmm maybe. There were about 19 people in a small office without enough chairs, waiting for cars and not very happy. We chose to walk away and go to a legitimate car rental. I am surprised Expedia would deal with a place like that. NEVER rent from Easirent if you want to be treated fairly. I think it is a scam and I don't trust anything about them.

I took a car from this place yesterday for 24 hrs. Been in Glasgow for 8 year I have always been to Enterprise as it’s easy and hassle free. Was checking online and saw this company and saw it was very cheap and especially for 18 plate and unlimited miles only for 15.75 a day So I thought I would try it. Before we took pictures of the car for our safety, I had mentioned to the guy that there was a couple of scratches on the car but he had mentioned these small marks doesn’t matter ( Baring in mind it was heavy rain and he was rushing ) took the car back today and the first thing he said that there was a dent on the car roof. Very mall dent u can’t even see it. How did he know that straight away? The people that work here are fishy and dodgy. Do not hire a car from this cheap dodgy place. What cowboys they are and now trying to charge me £1500 and more. Always double check and take a full video of the car ( Roof also )

SCAM! PLEASE AVOID! 1. Charged for insurance twice on my credit card 116€ x 2. They don't accept responsibility despite sending proof. 2. Don't be fooled by cheap car because they will sting you at the office with expensive insurance. 3. Overly friendly attendant asking personal questions about a sick member of the family, acting all concerned. Awkward, odd, pathetic. 4. Dropping back the car was also a bad experience. I was rushed into the shuttle bus. No paperwork. No nothing.

Returned the car with a very small pre existing scratch to an alloy (unfortunately we didn’t take photos prior but oxidation to part of it shows it was older). Got charged £325 DESPITE being told it would not be replaced until the end of the lease. Horrible customer service ever since, being bounced around various email addresses/offices, including the almost unusable online complaint system to then be told to email elsewhere, with no one actually helping ever and slow response times.

Easi-CON !!!!! , turn up more than half hour late at a airport (Manchester) and they give your car away, then the con artists conveniently only had next rate up which doubled my original price to hire. I later found out they had also done this to the four bookings before me. The car was in a terrible state with scratches and dents all over, and stains on driver seat, they then tried to charge me for damage on return, but backed down when I said I had 30 photos of the car original state. Keep away from these con men!!!!

Easirent are a bunch of fraudsters and crooks, a 1 star rating us too good for these people. We rented a car via the airports website assuming they were a reputable company but this couldn't be further from the truth. We were late due to a delayed flight which meant we had to 'upgrade' to a smaller car at a more expensive price. We also had to pay for additional insurance on top of what we paid for online. The car was full of crisps and clearly hadn't been cleaned recently. The childrens car seats were more expensive than their website and allocated on what colours they thought the kids would like, no thought to their ages or sizes. We spent our short break dreading dropping the car back and worrying how badly we would be ripped off. I can only assume the 2 rounds of overpriced insurance worked in our favour here. It took over 4 weeks to get our deposit back at which point we immediately cancelled the credit card used as they can't be trusted whatsoever. Do not deal with these liars and theives they will use every trick they can to take as much of your money as they possibly can.

Inaccurate advertising of insurance. Every customer I saw had the same issue. I was charged £121 for 3 days insurance and had to pay £95 euros as a deposit for diesel. On the return I saw a poor pentioner being charged 275 for a minute scratch on the windscreen that he couldn’t prove he didn’t cause. The guy serving him just smirked as he was he told him there was nothing he could do. Couldn’t find the place to return the car as had been given incorrect instructions. Almost late for flight as there were 5 people ahead of me and each one had an issue with the service and only 1 person at the hut. Every review I have read since has been awful, each claiming that this company has ripped them off in one way or another so although I was ripped off with insurance I am glad I paid it as it saved me a lot of hassle on return. Very unprofessional and will never ever use again!

They lied and cheated to extract more money from me and others around me with everything from forced (if you want the car) insurance, to finding marks on the car when you return it - which you didn't do. Disgusting.

I booked hire car with Easirent via Auto Europe for a weekend in the UK landing into Gatwick. There was a 40 minute wait for the bus transfer to the car hire office which took 20 minutes. On arrival the office was just a dirty room at the back of the Crown Plaza hotel. There was a long queue because they only had three people working there and had run out of cars. I queued for 30 minutes to be told that they had no car for me. This was despite me booking in advance for a car at 10:30 and it was 11:30. I was in a hurry so I had to take an Uber to my appointment then a taxi to my final destination, amounting to £90 and similar in reverse the next day coming back to Gatwick airport for my flight. Auto Europe did not care either and have refused to refund my additional costs. This is the formal reply from Easirent via Auto Europe after 2 months: 'Dear partner, i have looked into the booking as requested unfortunately we do not cover any out of pocket expenses. Regards Chris'm My recommendation to everyone is not to be duped by the cheap prices of Easirent and pay a little more for a bigger name. Don't use Auto Europe either.

basically, they bait and switch you, by offering the lowest rate on expedia (including cheap insurance). I ordered that insurance, but... they don't accept it, and make you pay shiteloads for their insurance (which makes them suddenly the most expensive on expedia. Also, they are stationed miles from airports, so when u get there, you are screwed. (a cunning tactic). Besides that, they scammed my credit card. I'm still chasing them up about it, but they are masters of avoidance. It's just a nightmare. All I can say is... BEWARE. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE THAT I DID.

This is a rip off company. First off they are slightly cheaper but aren't based in Southampton Airport - It takes at least half an hour to be picked and you need to be bussed to an industrial estate a few miles away. You need to put down a £95 fuel deposit, and a further £1250 deposit if you don't take their insurance. This was not made clear while booking with them. The car I was given was tatty and had lots of scratches. I made a point of going round the car with the Easirent guy. I hired the car for just 1 day and I was very careful with it. Like a lot of people here they found a small scratch "that wasn't there before", which I'm pretty certain wasn't true. This cost me £210! I think this companies business model is to rip customers off by claiming their vehicles have been damaged - you only need to look at all these other reviews to see these are not isolated incidents. The daft thing about this business model is they destroy any chance of repeat business, and jeopardise their relationship with companies like Expedia who suggest using them whilst booking flights.

Terrible. What started as a one day hire for @ £35 ended up costing £140 when you add on insurance, and the mileage charge. Basically more than Arnold Clark who I normally go with. Never again.
