Never rent with Easirent !!! This summer we rented a seven-seater vehicle at Easirent's office at Dublin Airport. At first all good, until we had an accident in which the culprit was the other driver, according to stated the agent who attended us. When you went to the police and contacted the vehicle insurance company, there is no document in the car. At the time of the rental, we were told that they sent us an email with all the information, message that never came. After several unsuccessful international calls to the UK, searching the internet for an isolated freeway service area, we got the assistance of the insurance company, got two taxis for the seven, and had dinner. The accident was at 18:00 and we arrived at our house at 00:30. More than six hours left at the crash site by Easirent. Every day at our Easirent office at Dublin Airport and they do not indicate that they have no more seven seater vehicles. Let us look for one in another company and they will return the money for that expense. So literally. To a direct question the Easirent sales manager in Ireland replied yes. We approached Avis / Budget where we rented a second vehicle for seven seats, but smaller and more uncomfortable. There was nothing else. In total the expenses that caused the accident, which we were not guilty, and the incompetence of Easirent, amounted to almost € 1,300.00. Easirent only offers us the money obtained from the insured company of the culprit of the accident, about 250,00 €, all that after 6 months of continuous claims every week. This money has not been transfered yet. Easirent does not give us back our money we paid for a service we did not pay, nor the one we were promised. Do not hire Easirent anywhere, because those who do not want to reimburse us the money at the UK central. The head of Ireland lent us her help, as far as she says she could. Luck with this informal and incompetent company !!!!No alquiles nunca con Easirent!!! No había otra cosa. So wörtlich.

I see there are many complaints about credit card but Debit card owners are not free from malpractice of this company as I was penalised for an admin charge five times the cost of the initial rental charge . If you have been unfortunate enough to have booked with them , I have personally taken this case up with resolver at " https://www.resolver.co.uk/companies/easirent-complaints" who in turn will escalate this to British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association if you are not satisfied . There are so many other competively priced renal companies that I use without having to be riped off my Easirent

my honest recommendation if you are reading this. Don't even go near to Easirent jsut because you could save few pounds. They are terrible and soon I realised I was arguing with bunch of Idiots. it was not too late when i saw another family who were in the same situation like me and ended up in brawl. Protect your credit card before it runs out of credit limits!!! I'm giving 1 start for this review because i cant post a review with zero star.

The sales rep that I dealt with at Edinburgh airport was decent and nice enough, however I chose this renting option as it was slightly cheaper than any others when flying home for Christmas from Sydney (usually do not go for the cheaper option on anything and WILL NOT again!). On arrival, the money for the car had already been deposited from my Australian account, and if it wasn't I would have went to Europcar or another supplier on the same day. As I have great credit I DO NOT have/own any credit cards and this is a major downfall of using Easirent as if you do not own a credit card you MUST TAKE INSURANCE OPTION upon arrival and these are £139 or £169 + £30 to be able to hand car back with empty tank (which they gave me 1/4 tank which is worth less than £15). By taking an option that was less than $100 AUD less than the major competitors, it cost me upon arrival an extra £169 before I even left the airport, so almost doubled the overall price of the rental when converting back into AUD!!! I asked if I could use my partners credit card, and was told that it had to be in the name I booked the car through which I also found ridiculous as the rep went out of his way to add revenue onto my booking, obviously for personal target purposes! ***THIS INFORMATION IS FOUND ON THE 3RD PAGE OF SMALL PRINT T&Cs IN THE CONTRACT BUT IS NOT MENTIONED ON ANY AGGREGATOR SITES IN T&C WHICH IS CONVENIENT*** Note to self - do not use the cheapest, or cheaper option on anything from now on, and note to the company, what a scam, and people are realising this as you publicise reviews from TrustPilot (7/10) and not TripAdvisor (2/5). Major note to self - Don't ever use this company again.

Worst experience ever! They try to fool you and cheat you every way they can!!! They made me pay additional car body insurance (even though it was included in the price) or else they asked for £1500 cash as a deposit! I told them that i don't want to buy the car! Just rent it for 4 days! At the end they made me deliver the car earlier than i should be. The customer service is more or less non existing (and only through mail)! Worst company ever!!! Not recommended!!!

Why is there no zero star option??? The Heathrow office refused to accept a booking through a car hire company. So knowing we had to other options they held us to ransom. Firstly in booking the 'replacement' car, most likely the one that we had already booked at an exorbitant price. Secondly requiring £1500 excess hold, which who has that much???....forcing us to pay more for the rental to bring the price down. Sounds and feels super dodgy......do not hire from this company!

Easirent started by charging me for waiving the liability liability insurance. I had pay for insurance with Orbitz but they didn't care, also my credit card provides insurance but again, they didn't care, so they charge me for waiving the liability insurance. Upon returning the car, everything was perfect, 2 days after, they charged my credit card with $244.14 for a flat tire, which was already marked in the paperwork as tire defect. Please use enterprise, avis, dollar, budget, hertz, or any other trusted company.

I found Easirent excellent ! Great customer service. Quick polite collection from Glasgow airport. Very nice Ford c-max with lots of options. We took the extra insurance for my peace of mind but I was fully aware of this cost prior to arrival. I think you have to be pretty naïve not to know you either have to pay for the Insurance or leave a large deposit. They have just hired you a £20k car for peanuts after all. Well done Easirent will happily use again.

Probably the worst car hire company in the world?? I had been a long time customer of Easirent for about 3 years, renting from them every other week. After pre-ordering my car a month in advance, I arrived at the desk as usual, to be told that I had hired a car from them for more then ten times and would now be unable to hire a car from them. I was stunned to say the least. No one could help it it was basically well that's it, unlucky, so I was bundled back into their van and dumped back at the airport to try and find an alternative. Complained to both Easirent and the BVRLA, which if you go through the same experience, I'd advise you not to bother, as poking yourself in the eye with a stick would be more advantageous.

Forced to take a very expensive insurance. Appr. 3 times the car hire. Then they try to let people rent a more expensive car. (diesel & nav) If they refuse to make an additional payment for that they get that car anyway.

Had to wait over an hour to rent the car! What a waste of time and telling you every minute it's nearly coming. Don't recommend at all!!!

We rented a car for two days, but had to wait 4 hours at the airport when we tried to pick up our car. We returned the car car on time, but had it less then 24 hours because of their delay, but they wouldn't refund us the extra day that we had already paid. When they finally provided a car for us, it was a lower class car then we had booked so we had to jam 5 people and luggage into the car. We were told to contact customer service and hopefully they would refund us some of our money. After many frustrating emails, which never answered any of our requests, we were offered 10% off on our next rental. Great!! Never renting from this crap company again means that we were screwed out of money. Thanks easirent for your crappy service.

If I could award zero stars I would! I arrived late due to unforseen circumstances and they had given my car away and had no replacement. No apologies, apparently it was my fault for not telephoning in advance, I would have thought that a company with good customer service could have called the customer, maybe that's just me being stupid! I live in the Manchester area so i could make alternative attachments, DO NOT BOOK IF YOU ARE COMING FROM OUTSIDE MANCHESTER! Interrent in the case rental village is cheaper and with far better service

These people are dishonest, if their practices may not be illegal they do practice a dishonest and immoral bait and switch scum. The rental cost me 7 times more than their online quote. Do yourself a favor, avoid them and go somewhere else, you have been warned

These guys are cowboys. They are tucked away in a backroom in a hotel. When yopu arrive with your agreement they tell you that insurance is not included and try to palm you off with extra insurance. My agreement firmly stated that all insurance was included. The wanted to take 1,500 pounds off my credit card or charge 15 pounds per day! They are crooks and should be avoided at all costs.
