You are a disgrace taking money off vulnerable elderly people - how dare you sell an item and then take £18.50 over numerous occasions without Tahoe person’s knowledge - this is getting reported as we speak!

This company is serious organised crime! Once you purchase an item from the catalogue they will then pretend you joined their membership /rewards club. They will then access your account using the card details that you used to purchase the item you bought from the catalogue. They take the money each month in installments hoping you won't notice. They have stolen around £100 from my account and £200 from my Mother's account. The only way to stop them is to phone your bank and ask to speak to the 'Disputes Team'. You need to cancel the card you used to pay for the original item and get a new card issued. Also get an additional block on your account for safety. Then ask your bank to refund the money stolen from your account (they are obliged to do this). HSBC have refunded me 3 lots of £18.50 . They said I am out of time for the other two payments of £24.98 in 2021 as there is a time limit that you have to claim by ( I think 120 days?) not sure. Act fast , even if they haven't stolen money from your account yet get a new card issued incase. Mine arrived in a couple of days. Tell everyone you know never to purchase a thing from the Easylife Catalogue, you may aswell just hand them your Debit card and pin number. I am reporting Easylife to the Police Serious Organised Crime Team. They steal money from bank accounts with absolutely no verbal or written signed authority for membership schemes people haven't agreed to.

I bought three items in January from an “easylife” catalogue found in my Sunday Mail. I paid by debit card. After a few days I was phoned up by a person from a Rewards Club but not told of their association with Easylife. I said I was not agreeing to anything over the phone but would read and consider their offerings if they sent information by post. When it arrived I read and discarded it as being not suitable to my needs. They charged me a subscription using the card I had used to pay Easylife without my written or verbal consent. It appeared today as a pending transaction on my bank account. This is surely illegal and fraudulent. How do they get away with it? They are both owned by Amazon, and Bezos uses the money to sent junk into Space!

I recently bought a fleece cape for £14.99 plus £4.99 delivery charge. On arrival, I tried it on and firstly, it didn't look at all like the advertised picture in their catalogue. Secondly, it didn't fit as the back was halfway between my waist and shoulders and the side arm slits were too far back. Therefore, in two words it was totally unwearable and substandard! After contacting the company to report the problem I was told to return with a cover letter to explain why I didn’t want it and that cost me a FURTHER £3.28 with Royal Mail. When the refund was processed, there was no mention of the £8.27 which I'd had to pay to receive and return the faulty item. I shall be following this up, but I don't hold out much hope as the member of staff was very abrupt when I spoke to her, almost to the point of being rude. I really wish I'd read the reviews before ordering and I certainly will never deal with this company again.

I have worked for this company for literally a week and yes all the reviews are correct it’s a scam! Yes they ask the correct questions, to pass QC but most of the customers don’t really realise that once the 20/21 days are up that they’ll be charged £17.99 or £69.50!! And once they’ve taken your money that’s it!! They push the staff to make more and more sales they even offer cash incentives to staff to increase the sales. And when customers were realising about EASYLIFE they actually changed the scripts that the staff have to read from to try and hide until the very end of the call by just mentioning ‘we are a sister company of easy life’!! They are stealing from the elderly not sure how most of them sleep at night knowing they are scamming pensioners out of money!!

Hey everyone , Just a heads up , I have worked for the easy life rewards scheme for one day. We are told to call people up and try to Give them a complimentary £15 voucher which you will receive in the post , but then if you forget to cancel we will charge you £70 for the year , this is a complete scam because most people forget to cancel and are old and forgetful I quit after one day as this is robbing people blind , we also try to sell a puzzle book for £18 a month from which you will win nothing !!!! They make it out that it’s a free trail and you have 20 days to cancel but this is a complete lie and you will be charged probably before the 20 days. Its fraud if I had to sum it up , the mangers try push the Agents to try make sales knowing they are taking peoples cash without any proper agreement , avoid at all costs and hang up on anyone calling from this agency these people are well and truly fraudsters.

As with other comments, my elderly Mum had four debits from Easilife for nothing before she spotted it. When she called she was told she had subscribed which she hadn’t. Thankfully her bank are sitting this for her. How can they get away with this!

These scammers have been taking money from my elderly mother-in-law's debit card for months. They signed her up to a "rewards" club without her knowledge or agreement. Waiting for a refund. If it hasn't arrived in the promised 5 days then I'll try a charge-back with the bank or a small claim in the County Court. They claim to record all telephone calls so a 'subject access request' should make them provide a recording of the phonecall where they allege she agreed to the charges. What's the betting that recording is lost?

Hi! For anyone curious, the name of the company that does all the scam calls is Outsource Strategies, based in Cardiff.

Was signed up to their Rewards without my knowledge and was debited (up to now) 3 monthly charges of £18.50. After many emails I got them to cancel the Rewards Scheme but so far no sign of a requested refund. Contemplating taking legal action possibly via small claims court. Anyone done this?

Easylife for whom? Certainly not for this customer. The only source of an easylife is the aptly named above company who has committed fraud and theft toy bank account by deducting sales finances. I have never voluntarily subscribed to this company and have received absolutely nothing in return for all deductions starting in November 2021. Bank fraud team have been contacted and awaiting visit from Police Scitland as this is theft! Do not underestimate my intentions of retrieving my finances company has taken. Considering contacting a tabloid newspaper about this company's fraud.
