“If I could give a negative star value I would. We have had mixed up orders but never this horrible. They didn’t bring 3 of the four meals I was charged for. They have no way to call them to get it corrected ASAP so you are stuck waiting on emails. DO NOT USE EarStreet unless you like not eating and paying a ridiculous amount for what ever may show up!”
“There needs to be an option for zero stars for Eat Street. They are the worst delivery service in Lawrence, KS. I've tried them multiple times now and it's never been a positive encounter. Each time they always have problems: the order was wrong, the food was cold, some of the order is missing, the food was spilled all over the inside of the bag, the food was left outside in the cold and they failed to let us know it was here. This time they delivered to the wrong house entirely and just said sorry, we can't reorder for you. If you check leave outside and ring doorbell, they don't bother to confirm they got the right house or make sure someone answers and picks up the food. They just drop and run and too bad so sad if it's the wrong house. Here we are two hours after the food was supposed to be here (the wait time to call Eat street and ask for help is loooonngg too) and and they can only refund the bill. They tell you to start all over and reorder from their app again. They can't do that part for you either. But don't worry folks, they offered me a $5 off coupon so that makes it better right? Never again Eat Street, keep your measley coupon, you've left me hangry for the last time you animals!!”
“Website had a delivery charge (used to it so fine, despite it being BS), + $. These fools want a delivery charge plus an extra no reason charge. Are you crazy? Then, I checked the restaurant menu to the menu EatStreet gives you to pick out your food. They tack on $2 at least to every single menu item. Finally, I don't know if they messed up the site somehow, but according to them, a fountain drink would be over $10 and the dessert would also be over $10. Regular menu says $3 and $7. I can only assume this last part is a site error. However, ignoring that final complaint, this company clearly tries to rob you. They tack on $2-3 for everything for absolutely no reason but greed. DO NOT USE THEM.”
“First and last time ordering with EatStreet. This was a pick up order, so just placed our order through their site for which they charged 25% fee for just using their order site. Unbelievable!”
“My food arrived 40 minutes after the 60-minute window. The cold food was warm and the hot food was cold. Some of the items were mayonnaise based and had to be thrown away to avoid potential food poisoning. The restaurant says it's Eat Street's problem, Eat Street says it's the restaurant's problem - meanwhile I'm out $40, didn't get lunch, and can't get anyone to help me.
I don't recommend ordering from Eat Street or Healthy Xpress, unless you enjoy throwing your money away and being given the runaround by customer service.”
“Tonight I ordered at 8:50 pm from Qdoba. A few minutes after 10pm I was delivered Buffalo Wild Wings. Due to regulation I had to keep my food. This is very unfortunate for me as I am a vegetarian. Customer support was great and cancelled my order and refunded me right away. Disappointed though in how long it took to get my food and the fact that I received the wrong order.”
“Have only ever had one issue, where I was dropped off a different customers order. I contacted customer service and had a refund within minutes. Some of y'all are blaming the drivers for incorrect food? That's the restaurants issue. All the driver does is grab your food and bring it to you.”
“Missing my sandwich. Would not sent another driver to pick a fresh one up, rude customer service.
Worste delivery company I have ever dealt with, NEVER AGAIN.”
“For a pickup, I was charged a 23% increase! And, I'm sure the restaurant didn't receive the tip I added, since it's not listed on the receipt the restaurant gave me.”
“In short if i could give then 0 stars I would. I have been ordering from eatstreet semi regularly for a few months not, but the customer service is just absolutely the worst. I ordered food and then after 40 minutes they said it was canceled. No other information, just that. I contacted them and they just told me that they couldn't reach the restuarant. Okay, fine, so i began ordering from another place and then about 10 minutes in I got a call from the place I originally ordered from. They told me the food was ready, but they didnt have one of the items which is fine. I asked for something else. I contacted eatstreet again and they not only refused to just send a driver to get it, but also told me to just place another order. Now this was already after charging me $50 and saying it will take up to 5 business days to get my refund. At this point my food is ready and they are trying to tell me that the restuarant is unreachable so they HAD to cancel the order. 1 1/2 hours later after the original order and they are telling to me place ANOTHER order, so i can wait another hour for food that they could potentially cancel again. That is my story of why, even though I have used them often, i will never use the service again, and why I hope no one else waste their time with them either.”
“First time trying them, and the last. Ordered Food from 2 miles away at 5:57. It said 15-25 minutes on the Tracker. At 6:30 the Tracker still hadn’t moved. At 6:40 I called Customer Service. After being on hold he stated he just talked to the Driver and he was in the Drive Thru. I finally got my Food at 7:15....took 35 minutes to travel 2 miles in a rural town??!! They suck. Never again”
“their app adds items to an order when you don’t select. i’ve had more incorrect orders than correct and now my food is sitting here uneaten because it is incorrect and gross. i contacted their “customer service” and was told. it was basically my fault.”
“I placed an order (12/5/20) only to later receive an "order canceled" email, leaving me hungry and without food.
What's worse, my previous order (12/1/20) left me waiting for hours. Nothing. Paypal shows an authorization to EatStreet for $40.96. This authorization never did complete itself. I think I know the reason. But you would think the EatStreet system would have at least contacted me to see why my order did not complete itself after a couple hours. Instead, I just sat around waiting and waiting. I kept checking for update info in the EatStreet app, but found none.
I had deleted my account over the spring and summer b/c of the way I was treated by their customer support last winter. I wanted nothing to do with EatStreet. But too many of my favorite restaurants are tied to EatStreet. Most of the restaurants I order from are locked up by Eatstreet. I live in Madison, WI, which is where EatStreet has its HQ. If I could order from my favorite restaurants with another service, I would.
So here I am, suffering their terrible service, once again.”
“EatStreet constantly messes up orders, and sometimes doesn't deliver them at all. Not only are they incredibly unprofessional, their complete disregard for food sensitivities and allergies is going to land someone in the hospital. I ordered a bean burrito off of a vegetarian menu today, and I was delivered a beef burrito. The driver literally ran to my door, dropped the bag of food, and then ran back to his car. Since it LOOKED the same as my usual bean burrito, I took a bite. I feel like I've had a rock in my stomach for the last 5 hours, and I'm honestly amazed I didn't vomit. NEVER ORDER FROM THEM. Businesses shouldn't even use EatStreet for delivery, because it looks bad for them!! I paid $20 for food that made me sick, that I threw in the trash, and I won't see that money for at least 2 days. There's no accountability, they're doing nothing to make their service better, because they do not care.”
