“BEWARE OF EBAY FRAUD, sellers, becareful with ebay, sellers, theres alot of scams and fake acounts stealing buyers money and not sending out the item the buyer bought, what they do is providing a tracking number, and the item is never being shipped, what that does it tricks ebay, the acount thinks the item its on its way and its not, so, its not in transit,.but the seller provided a tracking with no proof of being shipped,. so becareful, theres alot of that happending now,.alot of people not working, now they stealing peoples money on ebay,.......and seems like ebay doesnt care,..so ebay has been the worst, site to buy, alot of fraud going on,........ALERT BECAREFUL ALSO CHECK FEED BACK,.,, YOU WILL SEE ALOT OF SELLERS BAD FEED BACK,.,,,ebay wont even let you give a negative feed back, CHECK THE POSITIVE FEED BACK,, ON THERE YOU WILL SEE NEG, FEEDS,..SO BECAREFUL BUYING AND FROM WHO YOU BUYING FROM,......ALWAYS USE PAY PAL, NOT A DIRECT DEBIT CARD,.YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR MONEY,....”

“EBAY USED TO BE GREAT, NOW IT IS GARBAGE. I have made roughly 300 sales on Ebay and I have a perfect 100 seller rating. Recently, I've had my first issue with a scam buyer who claimed a used, but near-mint, puzzle was damaged even though it was shipped in secure packaging. The listing also showed the completed puzzle with zero defects. The type of damage the buyer is claiming is unheard of during shipping. The buyer claims that the upper layer containing the picture has naturally peeled apart from the cardboard layer underneath, but has done so in a manner where it's a perfectly clean cut with no other signs of distress. Puzzle pieces can certainly become frayed, bent, dented, chipped, and torn apart, but certainly not cleaved in half into separate clean cut layers the way the buyer is claiming. Even the puzzle company's customer service said this does not naturally happen. It's a flat out obvious lie from the buyer. What's worse is Ebay spent literally only 5 minutes reviewing the case before deciding in the buyers favor. I received two emails only 5 minutes apart about the dispute being up for review and then the decision. Mind you, I have a 100% seller rating and this is how Ebay has done me and now there is zero customer support to assist in appealing any decisions. IT'S TIME TO START SELLING (AND BUYING) ON OTHER WEBSITES LIKE BONANZA, eBID, eCRATER, AND AMAZON MARKET PLACE.”

“Ebay is totally worthless. I have sold numerous items and never had one person ask for a refund. I have purchased numerous items and never asked for a refund. Buyer purchases item and my funds are on hold immediately????then as soon as they get it they ask for a refund saying not as described. I respond telling the buyer it is and ask for proof it’s an altered golf club (it’s not) no response. Ebay get’s involved for two minutes (literally) and just tells me i have to take the club back, pay them their fee and pay shipping both ways! Total BS......”

“I been a eBay member for a long time, eBay customer service does not care. I had a buyer who left me negative feedback for no reason. Asked eBay to step in to remove the negative feedback, they didn't do it. it wasn't my fault, I did nothing wrong. eBay does not care about anything.”

“it's just a scam platform, honest and decent sellers have nothing to do here. some thieves and scammers. the buyer will return the trash to you and you will never prove that you sent the product of a different quality, and no one will warn you that it was necessary to shoot a video of packaging and sending. I am 3 years old with a 100% positive rating, over 70 sales. and they return the trash to me, not a sold coffee maker worth $ 350. just a bunch of scammers, the seller is absolutely unprotected.”

“Ebay unreasonably suspended my account even though I had 100% positive feedback from customers. They wanted me to provide tracking numbers and positive feedback from customers. I spent 3 days working to provide them with these materials. In the end, my account was definitely restricted for sale. Here are the reasons not to sell on eBay: 1) They can cancel your sales account at any time for no reason, even if you did nothing wrong and you still have 100% positive feedback from customers. 2) You must pay the fees even if you return the money to the buyer. 3) They let buyers open the case, even if the delivery time has not yet expired. You must return the money to the buyer, for example, 3 days after purchase, even if the delivery date is 21 days. Good news for buyers !!! If you want to get things for free, shop on eBay, because eBay always takes money from sellers and returns it to you !!! 4) eBay cheats on the seller. They wrote to me that if I send positive feedback, tracking numbers and paid the fees, sou they will renew my sales rights. Of course, this did not happen. 5) Customer service is appalling. It will cut off communication with you even though your issue is not resolved. 6) You will lose money. You buy goods, you list products. You count on selling on eBay. In the end, you end up without goods, becouse you refund money customers across eBay and eBay totally ruins your business. 7) Waste of time and constant technical problems that it will take your nerves away. EBay made from me an idiot when they forced me to get them materials to renew my account. All the time, eBay was cheating on me, just to pay them fees, and then they wrote me that it was definitively revoking my sales privileges. I don't understand how some customers can complain here. Ebay will always refund money to you at the expense of sellers. I'm definitely done with eBay. They are cheaters!!!”

“I have had open issues regarding item that was incorrectly refunded to seller..USPS delivery delay but was eventually delivered. I never received my payment back or the eBay service fee taken. eBay gave runaround. I am out item and money. Customer refuses to respond to emails and eBay did nothing to assist. Now after several emails to both eBay and customer time has lapsed and nothing can be done. eBay is a bunch of thieves. No one even tried to assist. One person should handle the issue. Each time the issue was emailed it was a new person with different response and you couldn’t respond. I will never do business with them again. Horrible customer service. Beware of seller SK1441.”

“ebay allowed this company to sell me two faucets and never delivered them to my address here in Delaware. Instead they delivered them to the address below. That is the information provided by the company and FedEx. I am in Delaware. I asked for a replacement or a refund. I was told the case is closed because the company provided me with proof of delivery. Proof that it delivered 3000 miles away in another state. So much for ebay's money back guarantee. It is a crock of baloney. Will never buy from ebay again, and I bought a lot. “My experience with seller Zinc Decor could not have been better! There was constant communication, very quick shipping and SUPERB customer “relationship building”—not just customer service! Stephanie was always available or, at the very least, incredibly prompt returning PHONE calls and/or emails! (Yes, Virginia, some sellers still use phones!) Once I receive the items (2 chairs—$2000) i was beyond impressed! They are quality through and through and delivery company was top-notch, white glove service! I will absolutely buy from zinc decor for my future furniture needs!”

“I didn't get a refund on a faucet I bought from a seller that was supposed to be in the US. It took a month and a half to get it....it came from China. The address in the package was a PO in California and the description showed when I bought the item, in the US. I had already bought another faucet that I got in 3 days since this one did not came so I requested a return. The seller did not want to send me a label to return the item because they are in China. Seller xyh_fashion should be banned from selling online for lying to people. Ebay did not do anything and closed my case without returning my money back. Ebay sucks! I will never buy from ebay again. Beware of the sellers from China that are putting in the descriptions that are in the US. Is not the first time I bought something, clicked only US and then came from China.”

“I sold a zero turn lawnmower to a buyer on eBay. The buyer messaged me later to say he wanted a refund. I contacted eBay by chat, BECAUSE you literally cannot talk to eBay on the phone...ridiculous. The representative assured me it was my prerogative to cancel the order or not to cancel the order...very fair and reasonable assessment and it is their policy, as well. Long story short, because this transaction was over 3 weeks in duration, I even had to speak to another representative, because the buyer was so unscrupulous and refused to pickup the purchase, because he said wanted to delay me getting paid as long as he could! The case was “escalated “ and eBay ruled in this buyers favor!! Their reasoning was that “I did not deliver the lawnmower to the buyer”....it was clearly listed in the listing as LOCAL PICKUP ONLY!!! They refunded this guy completely...Needless to say I am NEVER using eBay again! This was not the first bad experience I had had with eBay, but this was the worst! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY WITH EBAY; Amazon is much more reputable...eBay is an absolute mess!”

“THE WORST SITE ON THE INTERNET PLANET! I have NEVER had so much trouble trying to ELIMINATE notifications with their MISDIRECTED links where you follow what they say and then it DOESN'T EXIST or DOESN'T WORK!....I'm moving to exclusively shopping on ETSY (and when I start selling, THEY are getting my business as well....I am DONE with EBAY and their NON EXISTENT customer service....community blogs DO NOTHING to solve problems, and users end up JUMPING THRU USELESS HOOPS that go nowhere!. DISASTER OF A SITE!”

“Ebay has draconian way of doing business they let whom they feel to sell a certain item and block out the others-i have seen sellers with the same item get blocked by ebay they have their chosen- You cannot appeal once they "deem" whatever item according to their outdated guidelines-which you may get restricted for 7 to 30 days even though others are rampant selling the same or worse items-They have no loyalty whatsoever i saw my friend a "top" seller on ebay we're talking over 6 figures get penalized for a pokemon card!!!! They make the dictators of the world look like boy scouts-customer service is useless to call to try to get your account re-instated me i have been on e bay over 17 years over 1400 transactions-100% feedback----same happens to me even when they are wrong you still have to be penalized because even though they admit they are wrong they do not take the penalized time off so you are serving time without committing a crime go figure-ebay is a good platform but lacks seller protection as unscrupulous buyers abound and vice versa- BUT WHEN AMAZON LAUNCHES THEIR VERSION ON LINE AUCTIONS I CAN TELL YOU THIS I WILL BE ONE OF THE FIRST ONE'S TO LEAVE and all the sellers that will follow then maybe when their stocks start dropping like it did a couple of weeks ago to $52 a share you will see them running to try to circle the wagons sort to say. Because the shares will drop faster then a bad habit----all of the top in ebay are out of touch with the real sellers and buyers----PLUS Suspending people in these times when the world is upside down and people are unemployed and need money shows the callousness of the people who run it and the lack of being a "peoples company"......THEY ARE DICTATORS AND USE A DRACONIAN WAY----But like all things you're time will come to pass i can promise you that......Personally i was restricted for a 70 year old hat which most likely is a "jealous" seller which happens but ebay allows that they do not question the whistleblower so to say or verify they are accurate---one day it will happen...”
