Warning Do not buy nothing over a $100 Or don't buy anything If you are eager to buy If you are looking to buy expensive items you are likely to loose your money there are so many scammers listining expensive item on ebay just to get your money and nether seller,or eBay or paypal are willing to get your money back you won't be able to contact them neither it is possible that ebay and PayPal employees are the same schemmers Probably they are heading to bankruptcy for what I can tell and are ripping off people. I lost a lot of money. And this is the reason why I, posting and warning people. Please don't fall as the next victim

Customer service is chronic. It is almost impossible to contact them. The number on Google goes to voicemail and advises to go to help pages on website, that does not cover many issues for a seller. EBay only has buyers interest at heart, not bother about seller. When you do get through to someone they are very vague and unable to advise regarding general policy as this is very complicated as the policy depends upon various things. No basic policy to advise on how to do anything even complain. Worst customer service ever.

I am 100 percent disabled veteran and tried selling my John Deere toy I bought because it wasn’t returnable from John Deere since it was past a month from when I purchased it...I listed on eBay and my offer was not worth even selling after shipping and fees. I decided to gift it and now almost a month later my account is permanently suspended for this! I will no longer use eBay or let any fellow veteran I know use eBay because of this meaning I will tell every veteran I know and word of mouth among us goes a long way. eBay loss not mine

I have been an eBay user for a decade. I don't buy and sell a ton but have always received good reviews. I recently sold a 2400.00 bike that was shipped within days and received and my money is still “held” two weeks later. No issues or complaints eBay is just holding my money for another week. This is crazy i will never use eBay again

eBay doesn't protect its customers from fraud as never received the item and wouldn't give the buying protection they so advertise beware very aware. I'll never use again

I've used eBay for years, but what was once a healthy seek for profit is now greed, pure and simple. Well, eBay used to protect the buyers securing their purchases via PayPal. Now, they are offering new ways to pay and guess what - they don't mention that those new ways are not protected. Of course, if you chat with their customer service, the answer is always the same: "Ohh, eBay is always looking to expand and help customers who don't have a debit or credit card." Such a BS! If a customer has a bank account to transfer money, they have a debit card. After buying an expensive mobile from a new seller, I was redirected to the Pay Now page and as I have done for hundreds of times, just went there and clicked. The page then showed "Pay by Bank Transfer". I didn't think too much as eBay was very safe and I had never any problem. Two days later, they cancelled the seller account and cancelled my purchase. Now I don't know the seller's email address nor phone number. Of course, my product hasn't arrived and when contacting the customer service, they wrote a nice sentence which would translate to: Tough Luck! Don't do that next time, pal! I am sooo disappointed with them, but hey, a monopoly is a monopoly and there is nothing I can do now.

Ebay has always been good to me. My packages have always come in a decent time or the dates that they gave me, even earlier. I had a problem one time but not with ebay but with myself. I ordered a small (I was gaining weight) and should have ordered a medium. I sent a message to the seller and got a email back the very next day. I was 75% pleased with the conclusion to my problem they came up with but regardless they were punctual with replying back. They will be my go to until they give me a reason not to!

Sent me a voucher and link but took me to account where I couldn't use it !!! Long chat with customer services didn't want to help just wouldn't accept that their system is flawed everyone I try to purchase on ebay something goes wrong!! I still made the purchase without voucher but ebay dis nothing or understand the obvious. Customer service at amazon much better they wouldn't have quibbled they would have refunded or sorted it out! Ebay 0/10

ive been buying on ebay for about 10 years. they canceled my account due to they said i violated their policys but refused to tell me who said it and what i did, just hung me. this is illegal in america. we have a right to know the accuser and what crime. none was provided . im a buyer only, gave honest reviews. im a 65 year old disabled veteran fighting cancer. account closed permanently. ebay , youre stupid assholes.

Package arrived damaged, the bock was cut, i requested a refund several times but they refused. "Over 67% of reviewers recomend Ebay" my a**. Deserves less than 0 stars

EBay is very vague on their fees and the website is difficult to navigate. They don't give you any instructions. It's a good platform, but make sure you inform yourself well before using it. Which is difficult considering their horrible customer service. They know the platform is solidified so they do very little to optimize it.

I ordered a Dewalt 20V lithium battery but got generic ones that don’t fit my Dewalt charger. Again eBay got me. This was a $70 lesson. I will not buy thru eBay again. I pray the people working at eBay and the battery company have negative things happen to them

Unimpressed with eBay as Iam with Amazon as I am with, ETSY & Pintwtest etc...like Travel & Letting Agents instead of being a helpful intermediary they too are more of a hindrance.. Notably, denying their suppliers and/or CON{(ned)demned}sumers the right to arrange their own deliveries. In any event. Far, quicker, better & cheaper with www.Alibaba and/or www.AliExpress albeit based in Hong Kong...after all the European jobs were with U.$.eless Euro British Corporatocracy complicity & hence became the workshop of the world, supplied from source . Notably without the unwarrented extortionate mark ups. I wish French President Macron well. Endeavouring to tax all but U.$.eless Digital Tax avoiders. Nothing short of criminal!

Live in the US, got a bill in Canadian dollars that I was told was in error. Was advised that it would be taken care of, now they want late fees on an invoice they can't find. Customer service is useless. Three calls and can't get anywhere. Contact me if you want a copy of the invoice.

I purchased a 4 seater couch cover and a 1 seater couch cover from a seller named emoretrade, and received an email on August 28th that stated item delivered when in fact when I got home from work it was not delivered. So I contacted the seller and the seller sent me the tracking number which I already had. So this went on back and forth seller sending same message. And I reached out to Ebay they did not help either. So I contacted my bank to file a claim. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH EMORETRADE MAJOR SCAM ARTIST. I LOST OVER $50.00

Sellers in China, ship items to a relative in U.S. first and then the relative will ship the item to the buyer to make it look like the product is from U.S. seller. It took me almost 2 weeks to receive the item. When the item arrived missing a piece, eBay decided to protect the seller in China and kept telling me to wait, while the seller has my money. Is eBay as safe place to buy, NO, HECK NO, but if you are a seller from overseas, then yes, you can do whatever you want to do and to whomever you want to do it to... eBay will not step in to protect you! I will not be buying from eBay anymore since it is not a safe place for buyers. You can never tell if you are buying from U.S. or China... Chinese sellers always find a way around the eBay policies and eBay is so pathetic that they can't keep up. Or they are aware and choose to turn a blind eye to it, and if that's the case, then this is not a trustworthy company. Don't buy from eBay, Amazon is by far the best!!!!

Ebay has a reputation for being hard to get in touch with. You cannot find a number, so you follow all the prompts given under the help icon.. then they say read all the articles and then we will have a recording call you and repeat all the same article information BEFORE finally hanging up on you if the automated service is unable to solve the problem. As a seller on ebay I am incredibly frustrated that after 4 months of selling and 100% positive reviews they have held my funds from the sale that the buyer recieved a month ago!!! Just in case! 21 days I have not had my money nor the idem I sold and ebay continues to send me emails stating, "relax, the buyer has been debted and the money is in your account".... well that means absolutely nothing in this pandemic. I sold and item. Item was recieved promptly, with no issues and I have yet to be compensated on my sale!?!?!?! How is this company still popular? I do not recommend being a seller on ebay.
