“I have been EBay member for 14 Years both seller/customer not a big buyer but in last 2 weeks have bought substandard items ie. mask sanitizer through what appear to be British sites only having to wait for them to be shipped from CHINA two have arrived rubbish:returned await refund ???? Still waiting for the third already been removed by EBay so I’m expecting same rubbish. Sorry EBAY customer service is none existent if item is being shipped from CHINA buyers should be told not hide under the guise that they are UK based obviously third party in UK advertising and then passing order to China this SHOULD be stopped. I think I’m going to take son’s advice and use Amazon only ebay seems to allow purchases them “Remove” the item which stops any further contact disgusted !!!”

“Apr 3,,2020 A word of caution , never buy from an ebay seller in China. If you cancel your order they may not issue a refund, worst of all they will take the money from your bank account . Even after you have cancelled your order. The two ebay sellers took my money twice from me out of my bank account. They are not trusting and will rip you right off. Daryl S , Canada”

“eBay has been terrible during the virus in the USA. Sellers are taking advantage because no one is running the Ebay website. There is no way to reach customer service with complaints...phone message tells callers that there is no customer service available because of the virus. This is not acceptable. China sellers have run rampant with scams. I have made 3 purchases in one week and all three have never been shipped, but my money was taken. I will have to look into a lawsuit against EBay.”

“Bought an item with a 5 year guarantee, after a year stopped working nobody would honour the guarantee, seller doesn't answer emails and ebay said it's the sellers responsibility not theirs. Be careful what you buy, and dont buy those rechargeable batteries with a 5 year guarantee, would mind but they still allow the seller to sell on their site”

“I don't about anyone else but eBay selling Walmart 5 Lb Bag of flour that normally costs $2-5 dollars at Walmart & turn around and sell it for $32. Here we are we have thousands of people dying from this deadly virus so greed takes over & profit is more important. I for one will never buy anything from eBay ever again. I don't do business with greedy people.”

“Ebay makes it impossible to do a return in a timely manner. I had no trouble with Walmart or Amazon. The seller sent only a partial order. I asked for a return and that process is one of the worst in any online business. ebay is full of scam artist sellers. The seller posted a picture with a tool and attachments and only sent the attachments with no tool; offered to refund me 2 dollars and future discounts. The return process is made to frustrate and stop the buyer. ebay finally sent me a return label after three weeks. I tracked the package after I sent it and it is being delivered by USPS. No refund yet. I will delete my ebay account and never buy again”

“I can't return the MBP even when I bought it seller said I could return it in two months. The computer (MBP) had very bad odor.... it makes me ill. I have even got fever and cough first time using it... but ebay doesn't let me submit return....”

“I listed some Items in eBay, I didn't note that they charge you even if you don't sell your items. they charge me over 2000 dollars for the Items less than 10000 and I didn't sell any of them just because I add reserve not met. I consider that as spam”

“I'm trying to return an item £5100 as the seller has lied about the age and co edition of the machine. Their page is not working and I have no way of contacting ebay at all!”

“Ordered 3 separate items. The sellers did not state they were from out of the country in china. It has been impossible to cancel items once I figured it out a week later. This will take over a month to receive the products. Only buy from American vendor if you want fast normal delivery and check to make sure they are from this country.”

“I have payed for items that are not being submitted to USPS. The delivery dates were within 3 days to just over a week. One of them guaranteed a particular date. none of that with the separate 3 items materialized. The tracking just states Departed Shipping Partner Facility, USPS Awaiting Item for over a week now. I am assuming these items are coming from China and it is going to take over a month to receive them. Well in that case we need to know. Do not tell us normal delivery. eBay shame on you. From now on I will make sure I order from an American vendor and ask first if it really is in stock. What a mess I have to straighten out now.”

“eBay is not a safe place to sell your items. I have become a victim of the fraud from the buyer (I have sent an item and have never received the payment for it) and eBay customer service did nothing to help me and was rather annoyed I'm asking for their help at all. DO NOT USE IT! They will charge you the fee if everything goes well, but they won't take any responsibility if anything goes wrong.”

“resolve center send you to circle for days seller send me to item in one package when i opened its was only one so i contact the seller by phone then by message he used all excuses promising he send 2nd package with tracking reference by the way you cannot trace after weeks resolve center which asking me to send order back for refund WHAT ORDER I DID NOT RECEIVED and i am in circle after few years been on ebay with 100% reputation i thinking to leave its not only”
