“I used the $4.99 shipping on my $107 order. According to the Fed Ex tracking number my package was delivered yesterday (jan 5) at 12:21pm but offered no proof, signature or picture. I was at the location during that time and I never received a package. Fed Ex said they left it outside door but it was a business and the business was open. Why then would they leave a package outside door rather than delivering to someone. I called Fed Ex. Fed Ex says seller, Ebonyline, must be the one to file claim with Fed Ex but Ebonyline says it is my fault for choosing the no signature required shippiing. I was never given the shipping options or the ramifications for going with the $4.99 shipping. Meanwhile, I am out of $107 and I feel robbed. I will never ever shop with Ebonyline again in life.”
“Ebonyline NEVER HAS the product they put online to buy as advertised in stock! They are quick to take you money but fail miserably when it comes to sending it. You will wait 2to3 weeks for your product and that's if they send you the right one. Do NOT do business with this company you will be sadly disappointed!!!!”
“I have been ordering from this company for a long time probably, since 2020 or 2021 and I have never reach out to them concerning any issues. Recently, I ordered three packs of hairs but one of the hairs was not in the package, I reached out to them and I was told they will get back to me because they have to check their warehouse cameras. Few days later, I got an email that states that after reviewing the cameras, the hair was put in my package. I requested a refund or another hair but I was denied of every request. Fair to say, they took my $103 FREE! I will NEVER be ordering from them ever.”
“Do not order from this company. They rip you off. I pur hase a wig total 50 dollars they have a 20% return fee but the took 18 dollars which is more than 20% when i reached out to them they said its correct and thats it.”
“I ordered from this company and I was highly disappointed with the poor quality, not human hair at all. The wig was cropped all up, the color didn't match what Ebonyline advertised. I will not ever ordered this company. I ordered the same wig and color from another company. OMG who could see, feel the difference in the quality, color, and style. Don't waste your money on this company go elsewhere please. I kept the wig and I wear it around the house. It was intended for church. Do better Ebonyline, customer service is lacking.”
“Wrong items, weak apology, and staff that clearly need training.
Ebonyline shipped the wrong items. They first told me that the incorrect items I received is what I ordered. When I showed receipts they told me I had to return and re-order at my expense. $16 mattered more to them than customer satisfaction.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM EBONYONLINE”
“Do not order from this company. they false advertise. When I ordered my wig is said same day delivery. Then I get to check out it stated it will be delivered Aug 30th. When I finally get my tracking, it tells me it will be delivered Sep 2nd. All I was told was all delivery times are not guaranteed. I will not be purchasing anything from here again”
“I have been ordering from Ebony line for years. They were my number one go to hair supplier.
However, within the past two months, I have gotten four incorrect hair orders from them. The first order I kept and gave it away, and they offered me a 5% credit on ordering the correct color. When I did that, however, they still sent me the same wrong color. I suggested that it was a problem with their manufacturer. They completely ignored my emails. After an interval, I ordered again, and the same thing happened. I was ignored again. Then my daughter ordered a unit from them, they sent the wrong order, and she was ignored.
At this point, I will never, ever, do business with them again. Terrible customer service. Terrible company. If I could give negative stars, I would.”
“I wish they had zero stars...Where do I start. First I order 4 wigs I paid for the rush delivery. Received my order 2 weeks later. I message them several times finally after several days they message me back. One of the wigs weren't in stock. Just a horrible mess. DO NOT do business with these people. You will be very disappointed. Only positive was they did reimburse me for the wig and the rush delivery charge. NEVER AGAIN !!!”
“Google Review for Ebonyline.com:
I have been a loyal customer of Ebonyline for over a decade, but enough is enough. Over the years, I have received several subpar units — some that I simply threw away, gave away, or tolerated despite the poor quality. Unfortunately, the situation has gotten worse, not better.
Most recently, I received another defective unit — a Bobbi Boss product that was drastically different from the quality and construction I paid for. When I contacted Ebonyline, they dismissed my concerns as a “slight variation” and offered a token 10% discount — an insult given the premium prices being charged for inferior products.
This is not the first time I’ve raised concerns with Ebonyline, and in every case, there was no real resolution. Their repeated failure to stand behind the products they sell shows a complete lack of respect for customers.
Because Ebonyline refused to properly address the situation, I escalated the matter to Midway International Inc., the distributor of Bobbi Boss. Their sales team acknowledged my concerns and has promised to escalate the matter internally — something Ebonyline should have done from the start.
At this point, it is clear that Ebonyline cannot be trusted to consistently deliver quality or customer service. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and am taking further steps. I strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from them: Proceed at your own risk.”
“Buy from Samsbeauty or Hairsisters.com. Their return policy sucks and the literally pocketed $50 sending a damaged unwearable unit. How can we support black business with this type of poor service 💩”
“I wouldn't dare order from them again. I purchased Xpression hair which is really good quality hair. Well it seems as the hair was different cheap quailty horrible hair in expressions packaging. Two different stylist told me it was fake due to certain identifiers that most braiders/stylist know about.”
“Ebonyline is the absolute worst company to do business with! Stay far away from this company! I had been dealing with them for years! I made a huge purchase with them and 2 of my items (drawstring ponytails) to be exact were defective. They told me I could return it, and I did. I kept emailing them to see what the hold up was with my refund…and that the items have been returned and I have confirmation of delivery via usps! These ppl kept saying that they would look into it. They never did. Months later I get a return of my defective ponytails that I sent back to them. They are so unprofessional and will never get another coin from me! I don’t care if it is my favorite hair piece and they are the only ones in the city that have it on hand! Keep your coins and spend them elsewhere!! I hope karma kicks them in the you know what soon!!! There’s no reason to treat your customers the way that you do! I hope yall go out of business!!!”
“Ebony online sent me the wrong color hair. After I emailed her she didn’t refund or send correct color. DO NOT BUY from Ebony online. Save yourself………”
“I been with ebonyline for YEARS. I got a notification saying package delivered. Went to my door and I saw nothing. Called Fed ex they said delivered. Long story short......Fed ex delivered my package to a wrong address. Fed ex said they had nothing to do with that. So therefore I had to file a claim with my credit card for a refund. I sent over proof of everything i had and got my refund. I tried to order from ebonyline again and customer service told me that because of a refund and a package I didn't get because Fed ex delivered my package to another house I can no longer order from their site. So......say less. Ebonyline is not the only online company that sell products.”
