This company uses Yodel, possibly the worst delivery company in the UK. The first delivery was left on the back doorstep, even though we were in at the time and a signature was required. Yesterday's delivery was left on the front doorstep, even though we were out. Thankfully it was not stolen. Yesterday, as those in Devon were aware, was a day of torrential rain and high winds. The package was soaked through, and again no signature was taken, even though one was required. By more luck than judgement, the contents inside were only damp and inside their boxes, turned out to be dry. Ebuyer, please dump Yodel, before I am forced to dump you.

Hi Michael, I am very sorry to hear this, we have a contact with Yodel to which this has to be delivered to the addressee, they are unable to leave without a signature as per our contract. I have passed this over to Yodel with your order number as a complaint to ensure this is taken up with the driver and ensure this does not happen again. Hi Keir, I am sorry you feel our delivery charge is expensive, we do have a saver delivery service which is free if the order is over £50. If the order is under £50 this is between £1 - £3. Kind Regards Lucy

Order laptop and it kept saying declined card. Phone bank and they had tried 5 times. Banks fraud section said they have not declined card for any reason. Phoned ebuyer and changed card and that declined 7 times. Bank said they hadn't declined. Spoke to management and they just kept saying it wasn't them. Deffinately is ebuyer they do give a service they promise.... Don't use them poor service.

I have had the most miserable experience, ordering desktop computer equipment from Ebuyer. I began the process nine days ago. My first order came back saying my card had been declined. I ordered again. I was then told I'd been selected for random checking of personal details. I submitted the required information. I was then told the required information hadn't been received. I submitted it again. I was eventually told the information was satisfactory and I could submit my order again. I had to re-do the entire order. I submitted it. I was then told my card had been declined. I have now re-submitted it. God knows whether I'm going to end up going round the entire circle all over again. The experience has been frankly awful. I have wasted a week and a half in the process. I have spent hours doing it. And I'm no nearer getting the equipment I've ordered. You MUST do something about your customer service. Chris Smith

Hi Chris, After reading your review I would firstly like to apologise for the annoyance and frustration that has been caused trying to place your order. With regards to the payment been declined this is not something that Ebuyer can advise on, it is not in Ebuyers interest to decline any payments, payment is declined by the bank. If this is declining I would advise to contact the bank directly. I can advise that customer security is paramount to Ebuyer and online fraud is unfortunately very common. To protect our customers and our business against this, we have to ensure that the person placing the order is who they say that they are: therefore all orders are subject to security checks before they are accepted by Ebuyer. I know its picky but Crucial UK get my items to me next day even when i buy saver delivery. Ebuyer NEVER get items to me next day when buying saver. After adding £20 delivery for larger items. Its cheaper from AMAZON.

Hi John, I am sorry you are unhappy with the delivery prices on our site, we do offer next day delivery and pre noon next day delivery, however, there is a charge of £9.99. After nearly a decade of service with them, they failed to honor a return because I missed a deadline while on an extended holiday. So much for loyalty. It was cheap too.

I have spent over 3 hours ordering an item on this website. Admittedly I am 64 and this is the first time I have bought anything from an online supplier. However, I rang up in desperation after 30 minutes, and was told that I could not buy the laptop I wanted over the phone - it had to be via the computer, using the shopping basket icon "at the top right of my screen". I have still to see this phenomenon. After wandering around the website for ages, I eventually did see the word "basket", and was able to load the Asus X551CA (6GB RAM, 1TB HDD) into my basket. I checked my basket, and discovered I had ordered an Asus X551CA (4GB RAM, 500GB HDD). This should have been priced at £279, but instead was priced at £349, the price given for the higher spec computer I wanted. I could find no way of changing my order, so I tried to arrange for an immediate return. Again, wandering around the website eventually brought me to find the info that I hadn't ordered anything after all. The process of ordering second time round was quicker. and I suppose I must have learned the foibles of the website, but I am most unlikely to use this supplier ever again!!!!

Probably the last time I will use Ebuyer. Last order took 3 days on next day and was delivered to home address instead of site. This recent order 3rd attempt and clashing with security checks that are delaying order again. All I want to do is deliver to site address!!!!

Furrion Shredder was advertised to me via email at £29.99 but when I went on site to buy the price was £34.98. I promised my partner I would make the purchase online for her but am now £5 out of pocket. Let's hope the product is worth having when it arrives.

This evening I ordered a Laptop (HP 250 G1) and paid additional postage for next day delivery. This morning I received an email to say the order was cancelled, without any reason given, and that it will be several days before I receive a refund! Very poor communication and considerable inconvenience... Avoid Avoid Avoid

Having viewed the order from the reference number provided, I can see an email was sent to you to confirm what the issue was. I can also see you have since spoken to our Customer Support Team who have advised you on this also. The payment for the laptop was never processed by Ebuyer as the order was cancelled before this was taken, so there is not a transaction for us to refund. So much hassle just to purchase an item for delivery. Wanted it delivered under a different name and address to billing but the order confirmation came through with the wrong details, after 20mins trying to register.
