“Almost gave up ordering, i do not want an account, i do not want newsletters , surveys , special offers et al i just need a laptop that is all . i do not want to give my date of birth, could not get any further without a company registration number which I dont have i am a sole trader so I phoned up, and could not place the order over the phone , you should count yourselves lucky i have actually ordered ! how is that for honesty !”

“Web site states free delivery on orders over £49.99 - on same line order before 11.00pm for next day delivery. Then I was charged £8.98 for next day delivery. Very poor practice.”

“Only just ordered. Simple enough but I don't like having to create an account to order. There should be a guest option, although the information supplied is essentially the same, I don't necessarily want the company to retain it. Free postage is nice but five working days is a long time. I definitely wouldn't pay for postage that still takes three working days!”

“Ordering more than one item from the listing of available products is over complicated, in particular when a multiple number of a single item is needed. Many other web sites have a more straightforward layout, and I believe your ordering process can benefit if you look at them with a customer's point of view. Some products you label as 'free delivery' but the checkout seems to ignore that and automatically impose a delivery charge - then one has to accept free delivery within a certain number of days which which is hardly an incentive. Nevertheless, I shall continue scrutinize your daily 'offerings' as I have for several years. Howrd Evans”

“I live in Central Scotland, which I suppose is part of the Scottish Highlands. It never fails to amaze me with Companies south of the border who seem to think that the Highlands are in Outer Mongolia, if you go by the delivery times. I could get to Outer Mongolia in a lot less time than you quote to get a package approx. 300 miles”

“I think I shall probably use this site again as it was a first time experience for me. Now that I am set up and have an account it seems very straightforward. However, I did get timed out as I had to put in so much information and I was not quick enough!”

“1) Product delivered to wrong address - requested re-collection - never happened. Had to pick up heavy item and take it home 2) Item developed a fault. manufacturer very helpful and said that ebuyer would do an advance replacement on quoting the Makers RMA number - ebuyer refused. Had to pay for a new machine and send the old one back for refund... Not a happy bunny!”
