“Not easy to order from the website. For every new item one needs to go back find the page again and add the items to the basket. If I wanted another item from the same page I had to do that all again.”

“Good selection, usually very competitive pricing. No problems experienced with returns. Delivery is terrible, stuff comes at random times in multiple deliveries and is way over priced. The free option seems to be either 8am next day or 10 days later.”

“I am pleased with the selection of products and the prices but less pleased with the admin. i have moved address since last used ebuyer but found it impossible to change the delivery address so i have opened a new account instead. i will not call your phone line because of the cost. ebuyer could do better!”

“We used to use Ebuyer a lot for our business computers until they started applying a Business Card Payment charge of £44 to all orders with no warning during the purchase process. Although they refunded the last one of these after I complained, we would only use them now if we couldn't find the item elsewhere for a comparable or better price. Shame because they are competitive on price otherwise.”

“A few years ago you could rely on Ebuyer being just about the cheapest on most items that they sell and you could trust them to deliver. These days the competition has caught up on price and the clunky feeling website now feels a chore to use. It's also not possible to order items in order of popularity. This is often a quick way to establish which items are 'OK' to buy if you're in a rush and don't have time to research the various models before committing to purchase.”

“This is my second major order from eBuyer; I bought my existing Compaq laptop back in 2008. At the time it was sold as an item that had been returned due to a cracked case. This has not caused problems but the advert did not make it clear that the computer was not supplied with a power cable and charger. By the time I had bought them my apparent discount had gone. My conclusion was to read the wording very closely. I hope for a better experience this time round!”
