“It has been absolutely brutal. I ordered a new line to my renovated house . I asked for it to be delivered underground and at point of sale I was told that was no problem. I am weeks on and I still have not had the line installed. Only yesterday the technician was meant to install on a rescheduled visit but didn't show up. On any occasion that I phoned customer service over the past few weeks I have been passed from one department to another - so incredibly inefficient. The service has been the worst I have received anywhere in my life.”
“The customer care agent (Simon) was very helpful with my query regarding my telephone. However, since moving over to Eir television we are disappointed with the programme s on TV. Most of them are repeats and shown many times before. There is no HD and I cannot record two stations at once. Big disappointment all round.”
“I wish we had never switched from Virgin Media to Eir. Since we changed on 22nd December we have had an engineer visit three times as our TV service just keeps switching off. We were promised a "seamless" transition and this has not been the case at all.”

“It took ages to get broadband connection in 3 visits, now frequent disconnections experiencing, at least 50 times / day since new year.
Pretty sure it will take ages to get technical support to correct this problem.

“Customer service very poor. I had to ring numerous times to organise a time for the engineer to call out. I asked for my husband to be a named person on the account however any time my husband called the customer service representative wouldn't deal with him. It's a shamble of a service and requires significant professional input to avoid losing customers in the future.

“I had a very poor internet coverage , Eir then reduced the coverage and twisted my arm to go for fibre broadband which I agreed to try out. The coverage is better but not what EIR said it would be .
