I would give zero stars if it was an option. Rented a truck for a funeral 1,365 miles from home. Set it all up to pick up at airport. Was told AT PICKUP that I needed a credit card to pick up. I said that I wasn't told that when reserving and she said I should have read the fine print. I asked her what I could do as I was 1365 miles from home and 2 hours away from where I needed to be for FIL Funeral. She said not really her problem. As I was trying to figure out what I was going to do I got emotional. This women pointed me out to a coworker and laughed... what poor customer service.

Do not rent from enterprise. Rent-A-Car was a horrible experience. I didn’t drive the rental car 20 miles. It overheated took several calls to get a wrecker driver. then they sent me to a closed enterprise branch in the airport at one in the morning an hour from home had to borrow a vehicle to get another replacement car from enterprise then about a month and a half later they sent me a bill for $3700 saying that I damaged their vehicle that I was an accident which I was not so I am. I’m fighting it because it was not me. I would hitchhike before I run from enterprise again thumbs down save yourself. Don’t do it.

I would give 0 stars if I could to this disgrace of company. I rented from them in April and there was minor damage to the vehicle. I was happy to fill out the claim and told by the branch that because the damage is minor, I should receive some money back from my initial deposit. 2 weeks later and after going back and forth with not just the branch (full of incompetents) and head office (just pass the blame to someone else) and the damage claims department (assured me they couldn't do anything, more incompetent staff and unhelpful behaviour), nobody has helped me to date with my issue, but rather, stolen my money. This company is run my crooks and thieves and they clearly act incompetent in order to take your money. I am 100% due a refund after the damages didn't amount to the entire deposit, but everyone is either actually terrible at their job, or it's done with malicious intent. I have been run in circles by this miserable company and wasted my time trying to get the rest of my deposit back. As if I don't have anything better to do? And it's not a small amount of money either. Absolute disgrace, do yourself a huge favour and avoid at all costs. All departments, local branches, head office and the damage claims will be completely unhelpful and pass you onto someone else. NEVER RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. The incompetent is utterly staggering and I don't know how they are still in business.

Place sucks rejected Cash and two debit cards different credit union then smiled àt me. Wtf. Ps U-Haul accepts debit cards. Back in the day would've decked that punk SE7EN pre dicktion out of business in a year go Florida Panthers oo9ooo wait too soon????? Lol

My rental broke down. I called roadside assistance three hours later. No one had come so I called back. There was no record that I even called then they sent me to the airport in the middle of the night at one in the morning to closed enterprise I had to work next morning still no car I had to borrow a car to go pick up another rental from them, I used it for about four days returned it and about a month later I got a bill for $4000 for the original rental car that had overheated heated on me do not rent from enterprise. I will never again I think I have to go to court over this 4000 hours , I was an accident. I was not in ridiculous horrible horrible experience. Don’t do it. I will hitchhike first. The gentleman who rented me this vehicle remembered me remembered giving me a discount because it had overheated when I told him about this $4000 bill he told me it was his hands

I have been renting cars from the ozone park, NY office on Rockaway boulevard and couldn’t have been treated nicer. Gustavo is the manager and he is a kind gentleman who really cares for the customers. He has a gentle and genuine way about him. Also everyone else in that office is awesome and very helpful. They all kind and helpful!!!!! I have rented at other locations and everyone has been nice but ozone park location stands out. If you need a car while NYC this is the place to go!!!

I recently reserved a pick up truck from Enterprise at Walled lake MI and had a very disappointing experience. The employee I interacted with, Dante Rivers, was extremely rude and disrespectful. Despite my attempts to remain calm and polite, he continued to speak to me in a condescending tone and continued with disrespectful accusations. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism.

In march i reserved a 7 passenger car when we arrived we were told there was a recall and they only had a 5 passenger car for us. The guy waiting on us was so high he could not sit still and was extremely loud. I rent out of Ft Collins, CO. I reserved a standard car, a week prior to me picking it up, when I was pulling into the lot I received a call telling me they did not have a car for me. I was to leave in the am for a road trip. They did not even try to help me.

The new location in Newark Liberty isn't working as well as the old one, or, as well as JFK. I use enterprise because of customer service. I recently left my bag in a vehicle and when I returned an hour later (after 5PM) I found the team in general not that interested. I came back a day later during the day and the two ladies I dealt with were very helpful (ref Jessica) and solved the issue in no time. In the meantime, I hired another vehicle and found items belonging to the prior renter still in the vehicle, ick.

Booked through Capital One a Luxury SUV. Enterprise “overbooked” these vehicles and only offered downgraded vehicles. I asked enterprise at the counter if there were any other options but they said no since I booked through a third party. I called Capital One and they were nice enough to call the location and check on a new vehicle for me. Enterprise said to them the dispute must be made at the counter (which it was) and so Capital One nicely refunded me the difference. However, Enterprise gets to keep the full amount I presume. We see your scam you awful non-customer minded company.

Even a one star does not wokr for a reviewMy advice if you ever need to rent a car is DO NOT use Enterprise on Bayshore Blvd. I booked vans in April for a youth mission trip with our church. At 430pm on Friday, less than 24 hours before I was to pick them up they call me to tell me they do not have any vans or SUVs for me to rent. There is nothing they can do. I told them I can go online and book them and they said No you cannot because we do not have those vehicles from online. So if you do book you too will be in the same boat as I am. This is false advertising so please DO NOT USE THEM.

If I could I would rate a 0-10 I did my reservation by phone pick up was scheduled and then I get a call the next day my reservation day and they stated that they did not have any cars available I had to go out of town on a work meeting and I got in trouble for not making it. Worse experience ever this was with the Madera location

Been renting cars all my life, all over the world. Worst experience ever here with an uncaring staff and worthless branch “manager” (Gary). Had a reservation to pick up my confirmed car at 2pm to bring guests to my daughter’s wedding. No cars and not a helpful word from the useless clerk and “manager”. They not only didn’t have a car that was confirmed, they could have cared less of the stressful situation this left us in for the wedding. No apology other than to say “look at our lot, we don’t have cars” and to complain about THEIR reservation system confirming cars when they were out of them. Thoughtless, uncaring, unsympathetic employees here. No training (that they retained), sympathy, or aptitude toward solving the problem the Company caused. Gary Milbrot, the “manager” had the gaul to ask me to leave the premises while we were calling other branches looking for a call when he and his staff wouldn’t lift a finger, not care to take ownership for the issue. We found a car down the street where another abused Enterprise customer was completing their rental when we got there and, before we left, this car company was driving to Enterprise to pick-up yet another renter who was denied with a confirmed Enterprise reservation. Save yourself a potential disappointment and an uncaring customer service experience, rent somewhere else or you too might not have a confirmed rental available. They seemed to think telling me they won’t have a car till Monday for my Friday rental was acceptable and were belligerent on top of that. We’ll make the rental plans thanks to Bay Rentals down the street. Gary: take a customer service 101 class or consider a career outside of customer service. Your company created the propped, take a little pride and ownership toward helping solve it the next time. It sound la like you mismanage your inventory there reculay!. .

It is very dissatisfying and disheartening for Enterprise that I would be blamed for these damages that were already caused by someone else, Enterprise should take more pride and do their due diligence in inspecting their vehicle before renting it out as a top priority. As you can see clearly in the picture the agent that leases the car is in the pictures and fully aware of these damages... Enterprise sent me a bill for $1272.42 for some damages that were not my fault. My question is how does this happen and it just supposed to be ok????

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Enterprise Car Rental that I feel compelled to share. They charged me a whopping GBP 400 for a small scratch on a tire. It's outrageous, considering that tire repairs or replacements usually cost no more than GBP 100 anywhere else in the world.When I rented the car, it already had 8000 miles on it, and I drove it for an additional 2000 miles. Given the car's usage, a minor scratch is perfectly normal wear and tear. Charging such an exorbitant fee for something so insignificant is completely unjustified.Furthermore, Enterprise has a practice of charging a GBP 35 admin fee just for emailing you about a violation ticket. I received two such tickets, contested both, and successfully had the fines waived. Despite this, Enterprise still charged me GBP 70 in admin fees.Overall, my experience with Enterprise was incredibly frustrating and unfair. I would never recommend Enterprise Car Rental to anyone.
