This review is based on only one purchase that I have made with this vendor so far. PROS: Good prices. Low purchase threshold to get free shipping. CONS: The description of the item I purchased was poor*. *Specifically, I read the description for the "E61 Group Head Kit" and (1) noticed the warning that certain other machines do not really have E61 group heads and that the gasket will not fit those and (2) saw that my manufacturer "Grimac" was listed as compatible for the supplied gasket. So I felt assured about fitment because I was certain I had a real E61 and I have a Grimac (La Valentina). So, I was pretty confident it would fit and I made my purchase for 2! It didn't fit: the portafilter over-turns way beyond 6 o'clock. The gasket was the incorrect size even though the screen part was perfect. Knowing the gasket size problem, I would suggest that Espresso Parts more generally state that "the default 8mm gasket is too thin for some E61 models". I also wish I was asked to select my required gasket thickness { 8mm, 8.5mm, or 9mm } to make me understand that I am responsible for knowing the required thickness (even if I am certain that I have a real E61 and even if my manufacturer is listed as compatible).

I am missing the white gasket for the steam wand repair kit. My tech was unable to fix the steam wand correctly because of this.

I ordered espresso cups. I chose a different color cup than I preferred simpy because the web site said the cup was available. After ordering I received email that cup was on pre-order status and not in inventory (but web site indicated it was avail). So I sent an email that since cup was not available I would prefer to get a different cup. I received no reply to that email. I would never have ordered this cup if I would have known it was not available for immediate shipment. On a positive note it is a nice cup, not cheap looking. It's just not the preferred color I wanted.

On Wednesday May 10 I ordered a rebuild kit for the lever group of my aging Astoria Lever Commercial Espresso Machine. This kit is sold as a kit, not as a collection of individual parts. I wanted to order 2 kits but the website informed me that there was only one kit available. Fair enough. I ordered the one kit that was available. On Wednesday May 10 at 1424 I received an email from EspressoParts confirming my order. The email indicated that “we're getting your order ready to be shipped. We will notify you when it has been sent.” and that “Standard operating hours are Monday- Friday (8am -4pm PST) There is no shipping on weekends. FedEx Express Service orders will generally ship out within 2-3 business days after the order is placed. Please be aware that all other orders may not ship for 3-5 business days.” This detailed information that is not provided on the ordering form. 5 business days for meant my order should be shipping on or before May 17. I do not know how it takes 3-5 business days to ship a part that is supposedly in stock. Regardless, it took until the afternoon of May 25 for the in stock kit to be shipped. 15 calendar days. The actual shipping transit took a matter of 8-9 days to come to my remote small town, something that I had anticipated and which I find acceptable. But the extra week is hard to understand and makes thinking of ExpressoParts as my first choice for parts for my business. Thanks

The surface of the product did not look new. There was something white on the pressure gauge.

I placed my order over 10 days ago and have yet to receive it. The coffee industry is built on timely delivery, thoughtful planning and logistics, and communication in every step of production. So if necessary products and tools cannot be reliably sourced in a timely manner then it is unfortunate that services will have to be sought from sources outside of our industry that can deliver goods in a more timely manner.

I suppose the product is ok. But, I still have not received it! According to your website I was supposed to receive it on Dec 23. It is now Dec 29 and it is still not here. Not sure if that is your fault or Fed-Ex, but it is very disappointing. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift to someone who was visiting from out of my state so now whenever i do receive it, I'm going to have to turn around and ship it to her. By the way, I paid for expedited shipping from you.

I wrote questions about dimensions and received no answers. I then received a part that doesn't fit my siphon coffee maker.

Ordering was easy but the time for delivery was way too long for a simple little electric switch. If you don’t have these things in stock, a note saying so would have been very nice. Then I could make other plans for my morning coffee vs expecting to be able to make my own

Store was good. Selection great. Shipping price was ridiculous for parts that fit in an envelope.

I had high hopes. Bottom line, our coffee shop opening was delayed 2 months because Espresso Parts didn’t prioritize our order. We were guaranteed it by a certain date and then a few days before that date, they let us know it would take another month! I kept on getting the answer of “its stuck in port” or “its stuck in Italy”… but when I said i was going to cancel my order, they had our espresso machine on a truck to us within 48 hours of me threatening to cancel. Makes me wonder if I was being lied to the entire time OR if they had THAT bad of employees taking care of their business. Once Dave stepped in, things got better. I will say Dave was amazing to work with.
