“Had to replace the steam-head shield on our Rancilio Sylvia -- it was peeling and a screw support posts had broken off inside. Shipment via USPS arrived in four days, everything intact and all necessary parts were there --. the original mounting screws were still attached to the old shield. Our model uses metal caps on the screw posts. Getting the new caps on was the only difficulty, tapped them in using a dowel and a tack hammer. Larger-thread screws might be a better option. Think the new black shield is preferable to the old silver one.”
