“While I was satisfied with the quality of Everpresent’s work, I was quite dissatisfied with the quality of the service and the transparency of the pricing. I asked for the contents of an iPhoto folder to be transferred. Since there were other folders on the same device, I gave specific written instructions to avoid confusion. I was quoted a preliminary price of around $200. When I heard back with the final price it was over $800. I questioned this since it didn’t make sense As I feared, it was based on disregarding the oral and written instructions and transferring all the folders on the device. I again told them not to do this and to only transfer the single photo folder. I was quoted a new price of over $300. When I came in to pick up the work I asked them to show me what they had transferred. Not surprisingly, they again disregarded my instructions and transferred other folders that I had not requested. When I said I did not want to pay for work I had specifically asked not to be done, I was met with a shrug. They had also offered me a discount because I was dropping off this job while picking up another. I reminded them of the discount and confirmed they would add it. They did not add it. I have been pleased with other work they have done for me, but they made a mess of this one and don’t really seem to care.”

“I experienced wonderful service transferring an old reel of film to digital format. This was important to me, as the movie was of my mother who had passed away and we found the reel only two weeks before her celebration of life. The staff was so helpful, rushed the project, did a fabulous job and it was just so meaningful and special to have it.”

“So complicated and confusing in every step. Too many steps. Polite but ignorant workers. My initial quote was over $60 for an $8 job. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH YOU AGAIN AND I WILL WARN OTHER PROFESSIONALS TO AVOID YOU.”

“My siblings and I brought in several reels of old family movies (1950s-1970s) and 1990s-era videotapes, all of which had been filmed by our mother, who was about to celebrate her 90th birthday. She had been wanting to get them digitized so we could all see them again and show them to the grandchildren. We’d been dragging our feet, because it feels scary to hand off one-of-a-kind, priceless (to you) family stuff; however, the folks at EverPresent communicated clearly with us throughout the whole process, and we felt confident that our precious originals were in good hands. The project was completed with plenty of time to spare for the “premiere” at our mom’s birthday party this month, and we couldn’t have been happier with it! We all gathered in the living room after dinner and shared laughter, wonder (and a few tears) together. And, now we can access them any time we want in the future, even as technologies change. EverPresent delivered beyond our expectations - thank you!”

“The VHS was converted to DVD but the sound was not transferred properly. It’s very difficult to hear the sound on the new DVD. When I played the VHS to compare, the VHS had normal sound”

“Everpresent copied twenty-six 8 MM videos of precious family memories onto DVDs. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching these DVDs and reliving the past. I was also able do download the videos to my computer and emailed them to my son and daughter. The quality of these copied videos is very good, given the age and condition of the tapes. There was some minor digital corruption, but the tapes were still very enjoyable to view. I sincerely thank Everpresent for their excellent service, expertise and attention to details. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.”

“From start to finish the process was so easy and seemless. The drop off location was convenient and the gentleman was super nice. Once picked up by EverPresent I was contacted by the service representative who was wonderful and very thorough. My videos look great and were returned to me in less than 4 weeks. I purchased two USB sticks which are nicely packaged. The app is wonderful for viewing and sharing my videos. Excellent service and product. Highly recommend.”
