“Beware of being overcharged!! Sent Everpresent 488 feet of film total on 4, 3" reels (full), 2, 5" reels (not full) and 1, 7" reel (not full). Estimate was for 1000 feet. Put deposit down, said they'd adjust the price once it was processed in full and they can measure how many feet was processed. Never got a final bill, only an additional charge on my CC. Emailed multiple times and get back some boiler plate answer. Will never be using this company again.”

“The positive is that I was able to finally get my VHS tapes transferred to a flash drive. The negative is that it wasn't enclosed with the tapes when it was promised, so I was told that it would be done promptly. The following week I received an email that it was ready in Northborough so we went on Friday and was told that it wasn't there. I called, was upset that I wouldn't have it for Thanksgiving, but was told it would be sent directly to my address on Wednesday. Well, that didn't happen either. I received it the day AFTER Thanksgiving, which was extremely disappointing.
I chose this company based on their reviews and reputation. I received "I'm sorry" over the phone, and nothing else. I believe that I should be compensated in some way for a 3 week delay. Thank you!”

Caution: garbage in garbage out: you need to give really clear instructions on the file structure you want and you need labels on/with documents & photos. Otherwise, your great-great-grandchildren can't appreciate what you hoped to say. Add notes, stories, etc that personalize the mystery characters in their odd dress and frozen smiles. Not all pictures of the Grand Canyon are worth preserving.”
“I have used Everpresent before and was very happy with the results. This time I brought in 4 VHS tapes to be made into DVDs. Apparently one of those tapes was not mine. Whether it was mixed up with someone else's tape I do not know. But what I got were 3 DVDs of the same tape (which contained subject matter that I never taped). One of the other DVDs was of poor quality in terms of sound, and these tapes were musical performances. Since I received notices from you that the tapes' conditions were adequate, I had no expectation of there being a problem. I am happy with three of the DVDs. I called and left a message for Ariel who called when I was on the phone. She left a message, but when I called back about 15 minutes later I left a message and she never responded. This is not acceptable. I am requesting a refund for the three tapes that were sent with no relevance at all to what I gave to you. I consider Everpresent to be a very good business, and this has been a very surprising experience. I hope to hear an answer from someone on your team. Thank you very much, Elaine Jost”
