“Had vinyl LPs converted to CDs. Everpresent has good customer attentiveness, although the process took a couple weeks longer than expected. My main critique is a somewhat disappointing quality of the converted sound - makes me appreciate why we (most of us) gave up on the hissing and static of the vinyl medium. In fact I had these identical LPs converted years ago by another company with much better sonic results. Not sure to what factors to attribute the different qualities.”
“My one complaint is: When I first called, referred by a friend, I described a particular vintage tape format I wanted to convert. The woman on the phone said "oh, we convert ALL types." Bait and switch tactics, whether intentional or not, are loathesome.”
“I would use Everpresent again.
Pick up in Portsmouth and price quote was slow. Customer services said my project would be completed before the holidays but then said after the holidays, meaning I requested service and delivery during peak season?”
“So exciting to hear my grandmother, father and uncles from 1942. My whole family just could not believe such a recording existed. Now digitized and emailable. Happy.”
“I haven’t digitized photos in quite a while but I was very pleased. One aspect I would like to mention is the billing and the change over in personal at the company. If I recall, each time a new person handled my order, they were not informed of the rate I was previously given on my last order. Specifically, I had reached a level and was no longer changed for “advanced foldering”. But this information was not noted in my account. It became frustrating.

“The work of transferring tapes to a digital storage format was well done. I was surprised, however, that when I asked a staffer several basic questions about iMovie, he was unfamiliar with the software and was not able to provide a list of local people who could assist with the final editing and polishing. That's a service you ought to consider adding.”
“I've generally been pleased with the service. At times it has taken much longer to complete the project than I was initially told, and my last scanned photos were washed out. I have been happy more often than not, however.”
“Having thousands of 35 mm. slides reduced to a thumbdrive certainly helps the needed down sizing of my home, while preserving the images. My only complaint is that some of the magazines (that held slides) were reproduced in reverse order. I can recommend the service to others, and have already done so. The expense and time were worth it!”
“The work produced by this team was excellent, however, the clarity regarding the charge for the service was not. I was extremely disappointed that the charge was $150 more than I expected.”
