But even though the original films were spliced together in chronological order, the media I got back jumped years all over the place. They told me I could fix it on the thumb drive but the CD ( which was the gift) was not fixable. “I have had a wonderful experience with Everpresent. One thing I did not understand was that the $40 additional purchase for one year access to your digital files was per tape. I thought it was per year, thus have lost some of the files. I think it needs to be more clear to the consumer that this fee is not a one time deal to preserve your memories. I thought if I paid it once, my tapes were protected for the year.”
“The digital images look very good. I'm very pleased about that. There were 199 slides and I wrote an index by hand with a description of each slide numbered from 1-199. The person that I spoke to the last time I was there said I would be able to have each image numbered 1-199 to match my index which would be very helpful. Only 2 slides have a number, the first one on volume 1 and the first one on volume 2. I am disappointed in that. It's not easy to find a description on my index without a number.”
