“Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with Everpresent. I asked for a 1:1 transfer of VHS tapes to DVDs. For VHS tapes I received the single tape split up across several DVDs, rather than 1 DVD which is what I was expecting (a 1:1 ratio like I had asked for). I wish I had known that beforehand. And for any content of VHS tapes that has to be split across DVDs, it would be nice if there was an option for a Menu to be added to the DVD to select where to navigate to on the DVD rather than having to fast forward through content. The price I was charged at the completion of the project was 57% higher than the proposal I received. If there is no transparency in the what the final, actual price will realistically be, why bother providing an estimate? In the first phone call (Nov 2023), I was told that if I had less than about 20 tapes then they could be delivered prior to Christmas. I sent 16 tapes from my collection. The customer service rep had incorrectly captured my email address during the first phone call (which I didn't know at the time). Only after 2 subsequent calls initiated by me was this error discovered. Subsequently my order was waitlisted and not delivered until after Christmas. Needless to say, I have been extremely disappointed with Everpresent and your customer service throughout the entire process.”

“I am extremely pleased with the results of Everpresent’s job of converting the 8 mm film to digital files. The digital videoes are clear, color is vibrant and the images run easily. The file I submitted were 50-60 years old and my family is thrilled to enjoy clear videos of many family members who have passed away many years ago. Very satisfied with Everpresent’s work.”

“I was very impressed with EVERPRESENT'S efficiency and step by step explanations on what to expect and how the process worked. The VHS tape I submitted for conversion was very old and a little damaged however I could not ask for anything more to see my family many who are deceased, in motion on the DVD. It brought joy to my heart and other family members who watched on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Thank you my family is now EVERPRESENT.”

“Very good work on two batches of 35mm digitizing. Coming back to do a third. These were family slides over 60 years and were sent in with no grouping of similar times and events yet they came back grouped in a time sequence as thought the organizer knew the family and events!”

“I used EverPresent for my camcorder tapes and they came out great. EverPresent was so great they sent me updates on how my tapes were doing and where in the process they were. I would use them again for more of my old tapes.”

“It seemed more complicated than it had to be. Also it took longer than I thought. Originally, I went to the South Shore Plaza, but couldn't find the Everpresent location. So I called HQ and was told that I really didn't want to go there because it would take too long. Apparently it's just a drop-off and they don't pick-up there very often. When I dropped the video off at HQ, I was told of a handling fee in addition to the fee I was initially quoted over the phone. I asked what the handling fee was for and was told that it covered, basically, me coming into the office and giving them the video tapes. (I may not have that exactly right, but 90% right.) Then someone appeared out of nowhere and told me that they always charge a handling fee. I asked if I could have them before Christmas (two weeks away) and they said yes. But it would cost quite a bit more. I kept hearing how busy you were. Busy. Busy. Busy. We're soooooo busy. And yet I saw no one in the digitizing room. Okay. Well, I got what I wanted, but you need to get your act together before I'd recommned you to anyone. Sorry you asked?”

“I digitized all our old videos as a gift for my wife and she absolutely loves them, as does the entire family. Wish we had done this ages ago. It was done rather quickily and in time for Christmas, which was a surprise as I wasn't expecting such a quick turnaround near the holiday.”
